And Seong-Jae Yoon is the only one who can find him.

Season 1, 13 episodes done!

Loved it! What a rollercoaster!! The finale delivered big time. It was fast paced, emotional and very, very entertaining.

I don't know how Cole does it! but the vodoo shit is working. 13 books and no disappointments. Steady from book 1 and it grows with each episode. I believe the TV Show format makes it work.

Mal and Seong- Jae have become one my favorite couples and characters. The character growth is amazing. By the time we get to book 13, the characters a

Getting the last two books in this season sooner than expected was the perfect early birthday present for me, although I have to admit that I doubted at times here I would be alive to see that day.  I just knew that this grand finale of Season #1 would stretch me to the limit - well, not only me, obviously - , but I also knew that now - a pounding heart, ten fingernails bitten to

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love Cole McCade’s writing but of all his books/series, Criminal Intentions has been something else: he has created pure crack and without a whimper in sight, he sends off this season with no shortage of bangs.

Edge-of-your-seat reading, the intensity of this finale was incredible. All hell has broken loose in Baltimore, tensions are running sky high and it’s not just Seong-Jae and Mal b

And so, we come to the end of the line, for the moment. Was it worth the ride? Indeed it was! But it was a rocky road for most of the way. And even now, it is not over, this journey ... the past still threatens ...

I have an acronym for Sila:

Suits the little prick, doesn't it?

He was, after all, the wind.
And the wind could not be stopped.

I had said at the end of the previous episode that I had a favourite ... OK, I was changing my mind while reading thi
I have no words to describe how fantabulous this was. I literally couldn't put it down! It was such a rush to follow Seong-Jae while he was looking for Malcolm. And finally the mystery of Sila was uncovered. With every word Seong-Jae's past was reconstructed, and the picture of a vulnerable young man, so taken by an innocent beautiful face that housed malicious vindictive monster, emerged. It kept getting more intense, the ingenious planning and sheer volume of machinations were astounding. I fe ...more
Since it worked out that I didn't get to read part 1 til this had released too, I raced to read this right after I finshed the first part. I finished at 1 am......with my alarm set for 4:45 am for work. I'm sure it surprises no one that I overslept.

I'm seriously surprised that I survived this last episode. I know damn well there was quite a long period of time that I forgot to breathe! Everything I feared happened. The biggest reason it didn't work like it was supposed to is bec

The series finale and it didn’t disappoint.

This had a bit of everything. It was a fabulous nonstop read.

Sila has Malcolm. Seong-Jae is determined to save him. But Sila has been busy and the city is in chaos.

It’s a race against time. Edge of seat stuff and it’s great.

Okay, quick story time: At midnight, I went to get this off KU and then it said "Sorry, there's been an error! Rest assured we are trying everything we can to fix it blah blah blahhh" and I was like "WHAT" and so I went back, tried again. Exited Amazon and clicked again, tried again. It did it again. I did this several times and it wasn't working. I even went like "are you fucking kidding me?!" Then I was just like "fuck it, I love this series, I can pay 3 bucks for the season finale" so I did,

Holy carp! Reading this episode, I was performing the equivalent of peeking through my fingers at a scary movie, picking up and then putting this back down, screaming “no, no, no”! The culmination of events described in book one took me on a rollercoaster of fearful anticipation and stunned disbelief. I do wish that Malcolm and Seong-Jae were given some more intimate time together but they do reach one milestone finally. Some questions are resolved around Seong-Jae and Sila’s connectio

Back in July of 2018 this series came across my radar when the blog that I review for was asked if anyone would be interested in reviewing the first episode of a new series entitled 'Criminal Intentions' being someone who enjoys a good crime drama I decided to check it out and I was blown away, hooked, wanted more a

Season 1 of Criminal Intentions has been an amazingly crazy ride! Gaahhh I LOVED every single one of the episodes. The writing is amazing. The crime investigation side of things though at times was gruesome and hard to read never failed to keep me on the edge of my seat. Definitely some tough subject matters.

The secondary characters are intriguing and the development going on now is keeping me on my toes wondering WTH is going to happen next.

Then you have these two stoic, stubborn, sexy, s
What a fabulous end to the first season. I adore Malcolm and Seong Jae and was glad to feel the reduction of pain once the truth emerged. I held my breath for the two books and finally a reprieve on closure. No spoilers here as the twists & turns are important in linking many things together. Loved it ❤️ ...more

So traumatized.

4.5 stars for this one and 5 big shiny stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the series as a whole.

Terrific tension, nail-biting moments and thankfully most of the crew survived...even Sila the little git, although I fear he could talk his way out of a paper bag and is bound to use the information he seems to hold as a bargaining tool over mostly all the characters in the series for evil, not good. Glad Min-Zhe was actually able to help instead of hinder...thanks to Sade Marcus, and yes, I just knew that a certain po

Soooooo - here’s to the big finale.
And a big finale it was!

I devoured the last episode in this epic series so fast, I’m sure my kindle started overheating from the speed I turned the pages.

Everything comes to a head.
And all the main protagonists get some kind of ‘closure’.
When I say ‘some kind’ and put ‘closure’ under inverted commas, I mean that with this being season 1, there are obviously some things (in the plot and the character and relationship development) left open for these

Can you believe that 13 books and 1 novella later, season 1 is over?! And I’ve read them all!
Criminal Intentions is definitely the most engaging and entertaining book series I’ve encountered over the past years.
What a wild fun ride it was!

The conclusion to season 1 was fast-paced and exploding. It delivered lots of scenes I really wanted to see. However, I can’t help but feeling the second half was rushed. I wanted to see more of the “after” scenes. Bu

What a ride! Phew!! That was the season finale and it was perfect! It was fast paced and so many things finally falling into places and I absolutely loved every second of it!

Ofcourse there are a lot of questions left unresolved and I didn't understand anything from the last chapter but then we do have a season 2!

It was exactly like binge watching one of my favourite shows and I wonder if these books will ever be made into one. Malcom and Seong Jae are one of my favourite couples ever. The intim

Am struggling to find the right words to review this series. Where do I start? The bone chilling cases, the everyday battles people face, the sensitivity in handling every character's moral compass be it the good-bad-or-inbetween , or the phenomena that was Seong-Jae and Malcolm together...

I don't think anything I say is gonna truly cover close to how utterly awesome the series is. And you sense the amount of respect for diversity, for humanity the author has put into writing these books.

The huge finale! Tbh, I was kind of disappointed with SJ's past. I expected a bit more Oomph since we have been seeing how irritatingly troubled he was for the last 12 episodes and how he was annoyingly closed off to Mal for the last three. So when his case folder was finally revealed, i cant help feeling a bit turned down. This finale made all my anticipation worthed it and gosh, I am still pissed with Sila. However, I can't help be in awe of Sila's development as a villain (I might have seen a ...more

Cole Mccade loves to give me the creeps huh??
Intense finale but it was rushed which is crazy since Cole used up two prior books for mostly unnecessary filler but somehow the finale feels rushed to me. I’ll be gladly continuing to season two but Cole could have answered a few more questions in this.

This is the last one in this series and all I can say is: WOW!

each book in this series was worth reading and not once got I bored, disappointed or got any other negative feelings for how the story developed.

Great finale for a great series!!!!
Season 1 ended with a big bang, with so many scenes I was hoping to see for a long time! I enjoyed almost the entire book, but the ending was a bit rushed. I wanted to see way more of the aftermath. But of course, season 2 will come, and I hope there will be more about that.

While most of this finale was great, I didn't find it's ending entirely satisfactory. Which, again, there will be more, but.... I'm also high-terrified of what's to come.

Here we are. The season finale. I can’t believe it is over for now. And as I expected this season didn’t just go out with a bang, it went out with several huge booms and a couple of smaler bangs and a *lot* of emotional gut punches. That was the part I did expect, but I could not have expected all the rest of it. The explosive cases, the hell breaking loose all over Baltimore, how every little string was so expertly pulled to make all of the stories in the season come together to form such a bea ...more
I received a free copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

Season 1 is officially over and what a ride! I was perched on my seat for the entirety of this episode; I don't think I breathed properly to be honest. Sila was just as cruel and horrifying as has been led up to, and I wanted nothing more than to wrap Mal and Seong-Jae up in a hug and let them be happy.

I really liked how so many characters from the earlier episodes came together in this book, and I can't wait to see more of t
