Fall of the Wizards combines comedic fantasy with long history. Its characters are powerful wizards and world leaders for thousands of years. The story is told from even farther in the future, as a frame around the recollections of a wizard who goes on to overthrow the status quo and become a god of magic.

Exactly how that overthrowing-and-becoming-a-god is accomplished isn't covered in Book 1, which covers his teen to early adult years and apprenticeship. However, there are enough clues dropped

It was pretty enjoyable read. Dialogue is somewhat whimsical at parts, while in general rather witty. The story is spun well, giving us slithly different take at a regular or even cliche magical world. The only thing that bothered me is that, despite having all these pages working for it, the story doesn't really progress as far as I would like and basically you would want to jump into sequel straight away... Otherwise you are left with some degree of unfulfillment.
