Another thrilling romantic suspense from Tanya Stowe! I love that this book takes place near Tucson, Arizona (where I’ve never been) and that I can travel vicariously to this setting and thoroughly enjoy it. The plot is tightly woven and there is plenty of action and suspense as Joss, a border patrol officer, tries to figure out her involvement in drug trafficking after she’s found in an explosion with amnesia. Dylan, a DEA agent who’s been working with Joss’ team, steps up to help her remember, ...more

4.5 Stars

When Joss wakes up with no memory of what happened in a tunnel at the US/Mexico border, Dylan is determined to learn the truth whether she’s innocent or guilty. And all indications point to the latter.

Tanya Stowe sets the scene for danger, intrigue, and romance from the get-go. There are enough questions around Joss and her brother’s involvement to keep readers engaged throughout. Add to that a gang, multiple murder attempts, corrupt law enforcement, and monsoons amidst the backdrop of

In her suspense novel, Fatal Memories, Tanya Stowe has written an exciting and engaging story that readers will enjoy. This story is a fun and quick read. From the turn of the first page, readers will be wondering what will happen next in this action packed novel. Part way through the story, it is slightly confusing though because it seems as if the story is coming to an end and then all of a sudden there is another plot twist and it picks back up again. Readers will come to know the characters, ...more

Another great book by Tanya Stowe!!
I'm starting to really love these suspense stories!! Each one is better than the next one!
I loved each and every character in this book!
If you like action packed then this certainly fits the bill!! I was unable to put the book down after I got it.
This author certainly knows how to pen a great story for sure!! I will be looking for more from her.
Of course romance doesn't happen until later on in the book! Isn't it weird how romance happens in the strangest pl

Fatal Memories
By Tanya Stowe

Jocelyn (Joss) Walker can't remember anything. Her name is gone. Her friends, not a clue who they are. And her brother, she doesn't even know she had one. And worse she was found in a suspected drug-running tunnel with a large supply of drugs. Is she guilty? Or is she being set-up?

DEA Agent Dylan Murphy is determined to discover the truth. And Joss's behavior over the last few days has him convinced that she was hiding something. But is it relevant to the case that he

An intense search for the truth

Waking up from her coma, the first thing Joss was aware of was someone singing a hymn. While she couldn't even remember her name, she did recognize the melody and knew it was a hymn.

Amnesia is something that fascinates and confuses me. The idea that memories of people and events could be gone and yet the knowledge of other things can remain is so strange. And then, something can trigger the memories to return. Or not? Hmm.

I loved Dylan's habit of singing hymns at r

Tanya has done a excellent job with this book. Its a book about discovery. In this story we meet Jocelyn Walker who was discovered in a bad situation. She is left with no memory. I like how Tanya explores the issue and makes the story grow with it. Because of what's locked away Tanya gives the story many possibilities. With Dylan Murphy she gives you a option that could grow into something special. The mystery behind Jocelyn's lost memory really makes the story. For you are trying to solve a puz ...more

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Fatal Memories. This is only Tanya's second book for LIS but she is a great writer and I'm sure we will get to read a lot of her work. This story is well written, action packed and full of faith. I know you are going to love this one.

Border Patrol Agent Jocelyn Walker wakes up to find herself in the dark. A voice telling her to crawl, to move. She's in a tunnel. She can't lift her head so she slides as much as she can as the pain is more than she

Drugs, gangs, and lost memories create quite the cloud of confusion around border patrol agent Jocelyn Walker. DEA agent Dylan Walker determines to find the truth. With danger, intrigue, and romance, the story between Joss and Dylan unfolds as they question who and what can truly be trusted.

Tanya Stowe’s Fatal Memories is an action-packed, high-stakes treat. Once I began reading this story, it wouldn’t let me stop. I fell in love with the characters and had to know their ending (so glad it didn’

This was a very intense read especially due to the heroine having amnesia. I thought this was a well done amnesia story. Joss certainly had some head trauma just from the first few pages of the book. The atmosphere was shady and dark as most of the story is hidden from us as well as Joss. She questioned everything about herself, nothing seemed familiar- not even her image in the mirror, and yet she felt like there was something very important she had to remember. Like a ticking time bomb in her ...more
