This is the second book in the wedding cake duet and omg it’s so sweet it’ll give you toothache!
Nikki was told by her grandmother that she’d know the minute she flung the one but after crashing numerous wedding with her best friend she is starting to lose hope. And just when she was least expecting it she bumps in to Dean. Now she knows what her grandmother meant he’s her one but after a disastrous night she flees! Avoiding Dean becomes her life mission but she doesn’t really want to run. Will she give Dean a chance or run from what she’s always wanted?
Dean is no playboy he’s been looking for his one and can’t believe it when he sees Nikki at his cousins wedding. He is determined to claim her as soon as he can but the night doesn’t go as planned and she runs but what she doesn’t know is he will chase her anywhere and means to catch her!
Loved these two books both classic AR.

Ya conocimos a Dean y a Nikki en el anterior libro así que no hay resumen que hacerle porque su historia ya empezó allí, aunque en este libro la vuelven a repetir por si se nos ha olvidado.

Most of the time, I want to read about supporting characters because something about them sparks my interest, but it's the first time my reason is because of an incident with piercing. Lol Reading about THAT scene between Nikki & Dean in Wedding Cake Crashers, I just needed it from theirs POV. It was just as funny. If not even more so. Maybe if they hadn't rushed so fast... Sheesh. There's insta and there's super insta. Nikki & Dean aren't wasting time after first meeting that's for sure.

There is nothing that Alexa Riley can do wrong for me as a reader. They are an automatic one-click for me. They deliver sweet, sexy and uncomplicated reads that I can't get enough of. The stories may be short, but what they pack in between those pages is a guaranteed fall in love with read.

Sweet Enough to Eat was MUCH shorter than I thought it was going to be. One of the scenes was even a repeat from the first book. I would've liked to have seen more banter between Nikki and Dean. Now don't get me wrong, it was a cute read, but I thought Wedding Cake Crashers was better.

2 stars mainly because it really just needs to be as an extra to the first book Wedding Cake Crasher. This is super short and can probably be read as you are put on hold with the cable people. I really think one can only appreciate it after reading the first book. So if you are looking for a super quick insta love, sexy time story then this will probably do the trick. However, I read this today and I am already forgetting big chunks of it. Except for the whole piercing getting stuck on the IUD thing. That just sounds ouchy.

From there they end up in a closet and clothes fly off and then a hardware problem happens...

3 stars. Needed to be a few chapters longer because this just wasn't enough. Both Nikki and Dean were fun characters and I was hoping for a bit more with their story. It's literally four chapters and an epilogue long. Just very lackluster unfortunately. I still enjoyed it for what it was but I was disappointed.
