Isabel Blackwell and Jeremy Sharp were instantly attracted to each other when they meet and ended up having a one night stand without knowing they would soon be adversaries as attorneys. When discovering this, at first both are truly shocked, until they both come to terms with this news and make some agreements with each other. Some weeks later Isobel has to find a place to stay for some time and Jeremy offers his place to her. As they began living with each other strong feelings come to the su ...more

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. As I’ve said before, I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not.

This is the fourth story of the Eden Empire series by Karen Booth. I do recommend reading them in order, A Christmas Temptation #1, A Cinderella Seduction #2, A Bet with Benefits #3 then this one of course, so that you get to know the family and all the details of what has brought them to this point. This book is

Karen Booth's Eden Empire series has a lot of wow factors in it. It is definitely a series romance lovers will want to read.

A Christmas Rendezvous is a perfect holiday novel that could easily become a Hallmark Channel movie(oops they have their own publishing company now)

Isabel is a high powered attorney who has fixed things for some people that probably didn't need fixing.

Jeremy is her opposing attorney, working a case against the Edens.

This is book four in the Eden Empire series. It’s about Isabel Blackwood, Sam Blackwood’s sister. You meet her in Sam and Mindy’s story which is book three, A Bet with Benefits. This is also the conclusion of the series. This is a standalone novel. You don’t have to read the other three books to enjoy it but there are some spoilers and the series really was great, so I highly recommend reading the other three books. This was by far my most favorite of the four books. It was well written and whil ...more

Electrifying chemistry! With A CHRISTMAS RENDEZVOUS, the fourth and final book in her Eden Empire series, Karen Booth takes us along for a delectable ride as on lawyer faces off against another in the fight for Eden Department Store ... only trouble is, no one knows they were just each other's one night stand!

There's more to Isabel Blackwell than meets the eye, and she isn't exactly thrilled to be brought into the middle of an all out war for control of the Eden holdings, but she'd d

This book was a pleasant surprise. I didn't really have any expectations when I picked this book up. But I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

Jeremy and Isabel aren't your typical characters in an opponents turned lovers story. They didn't clash so much that the heat drove them into bed.

The story focuses on the case that they are fighting but also it highlights their emotional being and what really brought them to the stages in their lives that they are at. It

A Christmas Rendezvous is the last in Karen Booth’s Eden Empire series. The heroine Isabel Blackwell is actually the Eden sisters’ sister-in-law, brought in to help them combat a lawsuit against the company. Determined to change the focus of her career, she’s moved to Manhattan, and spends a passionate night with a stranger.

Who, in a twist of fate, turns out to be the opposing counsel.

Jeremy Sharp is a bit gunshy after his ex-wife betrayed their vows and then dragged his name throug

A Christmas Rendezvous is the fourth and final book in Karen Booth’s Eden Empire series. While you don't have to read all the previous books, I think reading A Bet with Benefits will help you to understand some events and the importance of this story.

Isabel Blackwell was first introduced in her brother’s story A Bet with Benefits. Initially, she wasn't a very big fan of the Eden sisters. But over time, she has come to love and respect them all. For the last several years, I

Will Isabel finally have a Christmas to remember
I loved the continued story of the Eden Empire series though focused on Sam’s sister, a high profile attorney brought in to fight the battle against an outrageous loan now past due many years. Isabel meets Jeremy after the hotel fire alarm sends her out on the street in her bathrobe and Jeremy offers to buy her a drink in the hotel bar where he’d been having a drink. But one drink leads to Isabel’s hotel room until a broken condom brings an e

I’m so sad to say goodbye to the Eden family. I’ve loved the time I’ve spent getting to know these feisty ladies. And even though Isabel is a Blackwell, she fits into the Eden family almost as if she were born to it. Hers and Jeremy’s story starts out looking like a case of “what’s the worst that can happen?” when after their one-night stand, they discover they’re on opposite sides of the Summers v. Eden legal battle. It turns into a complex and complicated story about expectations – both our ow ...more

A Christmas Rendezvous is the fourth book in The Eden Empire series. I have been loving this series and this story is no exception. Isabel and Jeremy are charming characters that have amazing chemistry and belong together. This story is well written and shows their relationship maturing and growing while they deal with their personal issues. Though adversaries in the courtroom, they keep their personal lives completely separate so that they can continue to be together without contention. The int ...more

A Christmas Rendezvous by Karen Booth. This is Jeremy and Isabel's story. The two meet and have one night together. It was a very unforgettable night. Thinking they would never see each other again. Little did they know that they would and it would be in the court room. Now opposing counsel they have to fight for their clients as well as fight the attraction that keeps them drawn to them. I love this story, I love how they had to fight their feelings. I enjoyed them as a couple. Now they have to ...more

I was stoked we got another book about the Eden Empire and Isabel deserved it so we could see how the dynamics between her and her brother Sam along with the Eden sisters was now. Due to a faulty fire alarm she meets a hot stranger and unfortunately the night is memorable for more than one reason.......Jeremy turns out to be opposing council! There is plenty of frustration, attraction, secrets, anger, snow, along with a pregnant cat and the chance of a well deserve happy ever after for Isabel an ...more

Kittens and one-night stands kind of go together.
Isabel and Jeremy have some history, a one-night stand kind of history. The story is about a case where Isabel and Jeremy are on different sides of the issue. That does not mean they do not have some fun and games but the case is highly important to Isabel. There some serious hiccups in this one and both Isabel and Jeremy have to deal with family issues, but the book was a good read and I highly recommend it. I did receive a free copy of thi

This is the first book I've read by this author and it was very well written. The main characters meet by chance because of a faulty fire alarm and then discover they're connected in other ways. I enjoyed reading their story and was kept on the edge of my seat waiting to see how things would work out between them. It had just the right amount of holiday sprinkled in to make it a nice addition to the story without making it too much. Give it a read if you're looking for something good.

“A Christmas Rendezvous” is book four of Karen Booth’s Eden Empire series.

Isabel Blackwell and Jeremy Sharp had a super-hot, one night together before they found out they were on opposing sides between the Eden sisters, Benjamin Summers, and the fight for Eden’s.
Isabel and Jeremy are perfect together. Their chemistry when negotiating a deal or negotiating each other is sizzling and sinful.

This was feel good, I liked the strong start and the heroine is no damsel in distress, in fact she is the strength in her family dynamic without being a pushover or a martyr.
There is no big misunderstanding here, even if the couple are adversaries in the workplace, they are very adult about it and get along great.
The formula of HQN works very well here, no over the top alpha male here, a very sweet couple dynamic.

Isabel and Jeremy meet one night in at hotel and have a one night stand. They each get the shock of their life when they meet again, this time on different sides of the negotiation table. Will they continue to let the fire burn throughout the case? Will their clients agree to negotiate? Will everyone walk away happy at the end of this case? The fourth book in the series brings Isabel and Jeremy's story. The author does a great job building the story, bringing it to life with her detailed scenes. She gives them an instant attraction who clash as opponents but are hot and passionate in private. It's well written, moves fluidly and I enjoyed reading.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

Enjoyed the book very much. The characters are fully developed and the story flows smoothly. There is great chemistry between Isabella and Jeremy and they belong together. They first meet at her hotel due to a fire alarm and later as opposing counsel on a case. Really liked how their relationship developed and grew while keeping personal and professional lives separate.

It didn’t end well after their initial hookup.
Last names were only exchanged when the uh, broke.

They pick up again and then they are at odds on a legal case.
Jeremy is divorced and lonely and very much under his father’s thumb.

Isabel is a strong and independent woman, dealing with an unintended pregnancy.

This is the final book in The Eden Empire series, Isabel isn't an Eden but her brother Sam in engaged to one, so she's soon to be family. Going into battle(ok only a legal one) with her one night squeeze, Jeremy Sharp who is opposing counsel. They have plenty of chemistry that sizzles between them and now they have bigger problems than the Eden family losing the company. Can they fight to win in the end? Wonderful story

This is a second-chance / enemies to lovers type trope and I'm here for it. Isabel is a attorney who had a one-night stand... and suddenly her part-time lover shows up as her opponent in the courtroom. What ensues is a battle of wills and some Christmas magic.

This book is a 📖 lover’s dream 😊. Isabel and Jeremy are two well matched human beings and so much fun.

Jeremy especially was stood out. Which is special because he is so reserved, Mrs. Booth was able to put 🖊 to paper and develop all of his quirks and nuances to the point he came off as suave when he was a a half step from being a complete mess 🙂. Truly, his magnetism just floats off the page like gossamer strands of silk 🙂.

Isabel is no slouch either, she makes chaos look
