It’s time for another romantic holiday trip to the Sweetheart Ranch—only, this time, the relationships are more complicated than ever!

Jewel Saunders broke up with fiancé Tanner Bridwell a year ago at the news of a cheating scandal. Tanner may not have cheated, but his obligation to his family did not allow him to reveal the truth to her. Now, all that lies between them is pain and regret—and a baby! When Jewel arrives in Mustang Valley for a job and finds Tanner, the three of them have a
My goodness!!! I have enjoyed this Sweetheart Ranch series a lot, but the author absolutely knocked one out of the park with this newest story! I love second chance romances and this one was especially wonderful.

The author crafted the perfect amount of tension between Tanner and Jewel. I loved the way Tanner immediately wanted to be part of his baby’s life and how both of these characters behaved as adults in trying to work through things for the good of their daughter.

This book was a joy to

The Cowboy’s Christmas Baby by Cathy McDavid is an enjoyable romance for any time of the year, but especially during the Christmas season. Those who have read the previous two books in this series will enjoy returning to Arizona’s Sweetheart Ranch, but this story easily stands alone.

There’s a lot to like in Tanner and Jewel’s story. The Sweetheart Ranch, a specialty destination wedding site, is an intriguing setting. Jewel, just beginning

I always love a trip to Sweetheart Ranch in Arizona on the pages of McDavid’s fun series, especially when it falls around Christmas.

Family is front and center in The Cowboy’s Christmas Baby – with all its blessings and curses. Tanner is torn between two families, the one he was born into and the one he created. The fact that, no matter what choice he makes, someone he loves dearly will be hurt definitely adds some complex and emotional layers to the story, and McDavid uses this to keep the

I love a good clean read like these little books!! They leave your heart feeling full long after you are finished with them. I felt blessed that I was able to read this book.
I felt that Ava was the daughter I never had. She was so sweet and adorable!! Getting to know her mom and dad was truly fun!! I love Jewel's name. To me, it's unique. I love names that are different from everyone else's.
I love that the truth about Tanner comes out pretty quickly in this story. I've often said that it's

Cathy McDavid welcomes readers back to The Sweetheart Ranch in Arizona. The family-run wedding venue has become so popular, the owners are seeking an in-house photographer. And the person who applies for the job is Jewel Saunders. It’s the best of both worlds for Jewel.

For Tanner and Jewel, no matter the choice they make, someone they love is going to get hurt. Tanner lives by the cowboy code and will stand up for his family no matter the consequences. Jewel wants the truth revealed in order to

Cathy McDavid has absolutely done it again! She has created a wonderful, heart warming novel that is perfect for the Christmas romance lovers! She creates fantastic plot lines, throws in yummy cowboys, and beautiful women and lots of surprises along the way.

Jewel and Tanner’s characters were absolutely wonderful. They were filled with flaws, yet were flawless. Their story is filled with heartache and pain, secrets and one cute baby! I absolutely loved watching their story unfold. I didn’t know

This is my personal preference but in my romances, I like a little angst but not to the point where as a reader you want to bash their heads together and throw your kindle. It got annoying real fast to see them constantly logging heads. The only saving grace in all this was the Hero with his baby girl. Wish the romance was better written though…

This was a wonderful story. I so enjoyed reading this. I was captivated right from the beginning. One year ago, Tanner gave up his bull riding career to protect his brother. His life fell apart at the seams as a consequence. Just days from getting married to Jewel, his barrel-racing fiancée, she tells him to leave and not to come back. While working at Powell Ranch as the assistant

A bull riding scandal ruined Jewel and Tanners life, and they never expected to see each other again. But even when their jobs brought them back together, it was so much between them, it would never work out. But then there was this little surprise that Jewel had kept from Tanner.

Another sweet heartwarming story from author Cathy McDavid. Both characters were right at home around a barn with the horses, bull riding, barrel racing lessons. I enjoyed all of the full details

What happens when family loyalty and the truth collide? Well in Tanner Bridwell's case he loses his reputation, job as a bull rider, and the love of his life and unbeknownst to him, his baby girl. Jewel Saunders has come back to town with her baby girl Ava to see about restarting her barrel racing career or becoming a photographer. Either way she hopes not to run into Tanner her ex-fiancé.

I really enjoyed their first meet again after a year, and when Tanner found out he had a baby girl-

Tanner is still reeling from the after affect of a fake confession, never realizing the repercussions. His brother has a brain tumor and Tanner took the blame pretty much blacklisting himself from the rodeo, risking a lawsuit unable to work for his father like he wanted. Now hes finding he has a kid and that those repercussions extended towards Jewel. He wants to be a father to his child but with the fake confession looming over their heads he needs to make things right and tell everyone the ...more

Such a sweet story!

Tanner and Jewel's story has it all--an adorable baby, the holiday season, a second chance at romance--I might have even cried a teensy bit toward the end (and not actually in the strictly Tanner/Jewel storyline, much to my surprise!) Ms McDavid kept this reader turning the pages, desperately hoping that the two of them would be able to get back together, but worrying that they wouldn't actually be able to resolve the

I adore reunion stories, but if you've read reviews from me in the past, I'm not a huge fan of the secret baby trope. The Cowboy's Christmas Baby has them both. For me, the secret baby part is a hard sell since the author has to make sure that the romance is strong and that the couple is getting back together because they're in love and not because of the baby, Fortunately, Ms McDavid is able to convey this.

In fact, the whole secret baby bit was out in the open in the first chapter. The

This emotional journey of forgiveness will catch your attention quickly! With the third book in her The Sweetheart Ranch series, Cathy McDavid brings us THE COWBOY'S CHRISTMAS BABY ... a reunion story between two former rodeo contenders.

We are instantly intrigued on the story behind single mother Jewel. She's got a tiny baby by her side as she journeys into the unknown to try to find where she belongs. She's quickly thrown into a tailspin when the man she thought was gone for good

This cowboy romance was about second chances and learning to forgive and move forward. This story is part of the "Sweetheart Ranch" series but can be read as a stand alone book.

Tanner and Jewel end up working at the same ranch a year after they called off the wedding due to a big scandal. As they work together, secrets continue to unfold as they try to work on their relationship for the sake of their daughter.

This story was emotional, real and heart breaking at times but well worth reading.

The Cowboys Christmas baby

I really enjoyed this book. Tanner finds out he is a father after the baby is a few months old. Tanner and Jewel had been out of contact with each other for a while. They both are working at the sweetheart ranch to make new start. Tanner was a champion bull rider and Jewel was a barrel racer.

The book not only involves Tanner and Jewel relationship but the secret he is keeping. Tanner family plays a big part in the book.

I definitely recommend reading this book. It is

This book grabbed my attention from the beginning. Its a story that could easily have been drawn from any headline. Tanner Bridwell will remind you of the old cowboy code. Jewel Saunders is caught in the middle of a bad situation. I love how Cathy writes this story its about 2 people trapped by 2 different situations. Tanner is his brother and Jewel is another. I like how Cathy shows the 2 of them trying to work it out but Tanner is trapped by a honour to his brother. Jewel wants things to ...more

Another in the Sweetheart Ranch series, in which, a year lat, Tanner Bridwell learns he's a father and Jewel Saunders, the baby's mother, who ended their engagement now has to deal with his return to his ranch and the one where she now works as a photographer for the destination weddings that take place there.

Tanner doesn't want to lose Ava now that he knows she's his daughter, but will Jewel allow him to get close when he refuses to set right what was done to him by his own brother and has also

The Cowboy’s Christmas Baby is a very cute book, and it’s a perfect read for the holidays. I read the first book in this series, A Cowboy’s Christmas Proposal, last year around this time. Somehow, I missed the second book, so I’ll be going back to read that soon. If you haven’t read the others, no worries! You can absolutely read this as a stand
