Three sexy dragonborn princes. An assassin with an erased past. And the impossible mission of assassinating the dragon emperor.

I have spent my whole life training to be an assassin of Linmoor Valley, an underground gild of the world’s most lethal assassins. My past is a blank, my master merciless. I kill on command, no questions asked.

Life changes after the day I’m sent to the town’s brothel to make a kill.

The people who ordered the killing now want me to execute the greatest assassination of our time. Their mission is simple: Kill the tyrant dragon emperor and bring peace to the four kingdoms.

A wiser assassin would refuse the impossible. But I can’t.

From the moment I see the three dragon born princes, I know I belong to them. And they, to me.

Assassinating the emperor is no longer my only mission. I must protect the three princes, for they are the only hope of reviving the four kingdoms.

My tasks seem impossible, but I am determined to carry them out if only for a chance to be with the men who make my frozen heart throb and bleed.

Assassin’s Fate is the first in an intrigue-filled whychoose fantasy romance that support’s our heroine’s right to choose more than one mate. Get ready for this captivating tale full of heart-pounding romance and edge-of-your-seat action.

Note: The Assassin and Her Dragon Princes is a reverse harem series meant for mature readers who enjoy their fantasy fiction with no restraint to language, violence and a few heated scenes.

Daria was disappointing as the supposedly best assassin in the world. She was emotionally compromised and didn’t live up to her reputation as a fighter. It is absolutely preposterous that they wouldn’t assassinate the entire royal princes and princesses who are as guilty as their father, if for no other reason than to prevent them from remaining in charge after the emperor is killed.

An OK Romance With Potential

I wanted to like this more. I may like the others in the series more. This kept trying to be good but not quite managing it.

I love the premise even if it's extremely predictable. Sometimes that's nice and relaxing. I don't want every story to be some confusing puzzle.

But the writing could be a lot better. There were sentences that could have been structured better and grammatical errors in some places. No worse than early Anita Blake books, though.

My biggest issues, I think, were that the premise is good but keeps getting shoved aside for forced romantic development among the characters, and some of the language used by characters (internally and with one another) really takes me out of the book.

I love the idea, though. I love the premise of these dragon-blooded princes (and princess, I'm sure we'll be told eventually). I love the thought of them saving the empire together. I love the thought of facing off against an actually interesting baddie. At some point I plan to come back and continue the series to see where it goes.

Good but Needs Editing

This story was entertaining. I really liked Daria and her backstory was interesting. Many of the twists were easy to predict but that didn't lessen my enjoyment. My biggest issue with the book was the editing. Though there were typos like missing words, wrong words etc they weren't excessive. It was the wording that kept pulling me from the story. Some examples are "the soup scalded down her throat" instead of "the soul scalded her throat" and "her touch ignited my body on fire" instead of "her touch ignited my body" the other is redundant. I highlighted so many similar instances. Despite this, the story was interesting enough that I want to read book 2.

DNF! The premise is a great one, but the writing is juvenile and made me cringe in places. I got about 55% of the way in and just couldn’t go farther.

If she does a rewrite making the interaction between the FMC and her 3 men that is believable for a woman that has had zero male contact and has been heavily abused throughout her training, then I’ll give it another read. No way would she be saying she loves all of them after only a couple days. This type of story doesn’t lend itself to fast burn without making the romance aspect cheesy af and uninteresting. I spent half my time rolling my eyes.

Gave me strong ancient Chinese vibes (love me some C-drama 😉). It just had all the subtlety of a raging bull. It felt like a watered down version of what I expected it to be. Too simplistic for my liking.
I felt like I had the whole series mapped out for me within the first quarter of the book.

I have looked a long time for a reverse harem that features during ancient chinese times and this definitely gave me what I needed in that respect. But I also expected plots within plots, subtlety, and common sense. Not to be wacked over the head with the metaphorical relationship bat. Not for things to be so obvious.

Almost really good. I loved the concept but not the execution. Maybe it needed a bit more build up at the beginning to flesh out the fmc's character that thing with Naya had the potential for endless amusement but it was brushed over pretty quickly. The story had lots of cool elements like that which weren't developed fully, I loved the uniqueness of assassins weapon as well. The romance was a bit too insta as well. DNF this series on book 2.

Great new read

Loved this book. You would never know the author is new novelist. The story, grabs your senses on the first page, and continues to do so . I love the characters and the villains, I Am sure will be totally wicked. The first one we met the Saintess Helen, is a tight nasty piece. Can hardly wait to dig into this series.

Title says it all

Gripping story line. Had me drawn in from the first word. Couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait for the next book in the series. Highly recommend. Great character building. Amazing world building. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Hated the cliffhanger.
