I'm so happy I had the pleasure of reading another Angela Panther story as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I don't know how Carolyn does it, but this one hit the mark again, even though it was a short story. I just love Angela and her banter with Fran and Mel. This one had an unexpected twist and I'm happy to see Chantilly made her appearance in the book. I'm hoping that there is a book in the (near) future where they team up to help people, maybe solve some crime together.

Thank you for letting me read this cool story, I loved it. I love Angela and I can't wait to read more about her. I loved that this book took place where she grew up, how an old love made his appearance to her, to go back to her high school years. I can only say this; if you like Lilly Sprayberrie and/or Chantilly, you simply must read Angela Panther too. You won't regret it!

Wonderful novella in the Angela Panther series! Imagine having your ex-boyfriend from high school/college appear as a ghost in your bathroom, just as you were about to disrobe and take a bath!! This is a funny, witty, wonderful novella that I just couldn't put down! I love all the books in this series. The author has done a nice job with building the characters and adds humor in just the right places. Angela is in need of help by her first love and she must visit her past and travel back to her home town to do it, along with her best friend, Mel, and of course her feisty mother's spirit in tow! Cute story for sure. I was fortunate to get an ARC for a true and honest review, and I absolutely loved it!

Angela returns to her home town to deliver a message to the wife of her high school beau. As is usually the case it is never as simple as delivering a message. Mel tags along and Fran pops in too. Of course, the hijinks ensue.

I was having withdrawals from the dynamic duo - Angela and Mel. This little novella definitely hit the spot. I love their friendship. And Fran, oh how I missed the musings of Fran. She is my number one ghost!

Angela and Mel are about to take a road trip to help the ghost of Angela's high school boyfriend reach out to his family. Awkward!!! LOL, humor and wit as always help Angela and Mel as they help an annoying ghost and untangle a mystery in the process. I absolutely love these characters and the world needs more! I hope there is another Angela Panther story in the works soon as I just realized that I am at the end of the road so far! If you haven't started reading this series yet, you so need to do so! If you like to laugh, be prepared to do so spontaneously and loudly at times!

An OK read

Taken from the ‘Message From The Author’: “this is less mystery and more a dive into some of Angela’s past.”

A quick read. This was my first Angela Panther mystery. You could read this as a standalone, I believe. It wasn’t as cozy as I usually like my mysteries to be, but I knew that before I started this novella. I copied this from the author’s page: “THESE ARE NOT COZIES, they're women sleuth's psychic medium mysteries and there is talk of s** in them, with a character that can sometimes be inappropriate.” (I don’t know if I can use that word in a review.) But I didn’t really like Mel, Angela’s best friend. Too insensitive and inconsiderate. I love quirky, but Mel was just too out there for me. And I didn’t really connect with Angela either, which was surprising to me, because I liked her a lot in Get Up and Ghost, where she had a small role.

The style was so different from what I like, a different vibe, a different feel. It just didn’t speak to me as much as I had thought. I did like the whole phychic medium thing! And there definitely were some fun moments! But all in all, this was just an OK read.

The Favor is A Novella in the Angela Panther Mystery Series. I love this series and I am a novella junkie. This novella is fantastic story with great character building. This is one of my favorite mystery series, it just keeps getting better and batter. There is humor, ghosts and a time travel aspect.

I always look forward to books in this series and the author has done a fantastic job with this Novella.

Even though the story is a novella, it packs the punch of a full length novel. I just really loved it.

This is a stand alone novel, but I highly reccomend checking out the First Book in the Series, Unfinished Business you won't be sorry!

An unexpected reunion leads to a trip down nostalgia lane.

Angela’s first love appears to her in a most unusual fashion and requests a favor. Of course, Angela must help him. It is what she has done for others who were no more than strangers, right? Angela, Fran, and Mel set out on a road trip in the hope they will be able to fulfill the favor. But there is another snag…will his widow be able to clear her grief-stricken mind and accept Angela’s help or will she be blinded by her sorrow and jealousy and send Angela on her way? Nothing is ever easy given these circumstances.

I enjoy the short stories included in this series immensely. They are just the right length for a relaxing evening read.

Another excellent book.

I have read all of the Angela Panther books . All of the full length books as well as the novellas, especially The Favor, are hard to put down until the end. The Favor takes Angela, Mel , and Fran back to Chicago to help Angela's newly departed first love finish some unfinished business. Combined with Brian's wishes, there is a short trip down memory lane for Angela.
Though short, we learn more about Angela's character, her life when young , and that she has always had a kind heart. The plot flows smoothly and Fran and Mel get into their usual trouble. Read The Favor but Don't stop with just this one book. I highly recommend reading all of the books in all of the series written by Carolyn Rudder Aspenson.

What do you do when your high school boyfriend shows up and asks for a favor? When he is a ghost and you are a psychic medium, you help him out. Angela Panther, Psychic Medium and police consultant along with her best friend Mel head to Angela’s hometown of Chicago to attend the funeral of Angela’s former boyfriend Brian. Angela was asked to deliver a message to his family but once they arrive they find that things are not exactly what they seem and there is a mystery to unravel. This Novella is a great addition to the Angela Panther Mystery Series, and a glimpse into Angela’s past.

This was a fun Angela novella. This time she headed back home to help her ex-boyfriend from school, who had died unexpectedly. Brian wanted Angela's help to make sure his child didn't get hurt the same way he had.

This book was shorter, but still had the same intrigue and fun characters as the others in the series. There's always laughs when Mel and Fran are around. Another good book in the series!

Angela is the main character and she sees ghosts. Her mother is one of them and she is a real hoot! Someone from Angela's past, her first love, Brian, passes away and he shows up needing a favor. Ang and her best friend, Mel, end up taking a road trip to see what they can do for him. This book has a good plot and characters. In the midst of intrigue, action and the sadness of death, there's a lot of laughs in here. This is a great paranormal cozy and I loved it. Five stars from me.

When Angela’s High School boyfriend is killed in accident he turns to her for help. She ends up back in her hometown, trying to convince his wife to listen to her. But she can stop anyone else getting hurt?

I’m really enjoying these books! Mysteries with a paranormal twist. So different to what I usually read atm but enjoyable all the same! This was another quick, short story. Perfect to get you out of a slump or for a little boost.

Angela sees dead people, usually people who need help before crossing over. However, this one is a little different. Brian is Angela’s first love. He needs help to protect his son from dying the same way he dnice novella id and to protect his wife.

This is an engaging novella. It is my first Angela Panther story and I look forward to reading more.

I love this series, each book is fantastic, but I think this one is my favorite so far. Angela goes back to IL her childhood stomping grounds to help out an old friend. I think I really connected with this story since I lived in that area for a few years and knew a lot of the places that were mentioned. I look forward to more of this series.

Like going back in time, Angela has to return to where she grew up to help her high school boyfriend cross over. This mystery has humor, a sense of nostalgia, and surprises you don't see coming. With the help of Mel and Fran, Angela has to make a true skeptic believe and in time to save a life. I loved this fast paced novella. It's always a treat to go on an adventure with these ladies.

Another good book in the series. I’m reading them in order on Amazon, but Amazon seems to have the order mixed up. This book takes place 10 years after Fran died. Josh went from 13-ish in the last book to college in this one. A little frustrating, but the story is still good.

Angela Panther books are always fun, and I enjoyed this book very much. I missed inter action with other characters, but I loved the way most of the characters have become adjusted to Angela's ability. I Think this is very much worth your while.
