Princess Aya has been hiding in her tower hiding from the truth at how her people are suffering at her uncle’s hand. Kazriel is a god and was awakened by the peoples cries. He now plans to publicly punish Aya before she will be given the throne. Will he teach how to be a proper Queen and treat her people as they should be? Fast-paced read with lots of drama and plenty of steam. I loved it!

Broken Princess was fabulous. Of course Loki Renard knows how we all love the spankings but it is the romance and the way the characters just connect to you each other that will keep you reading. The chemistry is present right from the start. I did not want to stop reading. Any now. I look forward to more.

Definitely recommend you to read this. I loved it!

A heartwarming romance inside of a treatise on leadership. Compelling and a MUST-READ!
Not sure that author Loki Renard meant “BROKEN PRINCESS” to be a commentary on the role of a leader, but it is. “BROKEN PRINCESS” is also the most remarkable love story, original as well as awe-inspiring and not as dark as Renard’s usual fare. Well-written, with phenomenal characters, and a complex and compelling plot, “BROKEN PRINCESS” has all of the elements and feels that those who like their romances to tel

Wow, this was a wild and unique ride. It was a true epic without all the boring parts! We meet Princess Aya on the day her uncle King Vengar is deposed by the great God Katziel. Katziel is furious at the corruption of the throne, and decides its only hope is Aya. But she is uneducated and spoiled, and needs some life lessons before she can claim the throne.

Princess Aya surprises with her arguments when she is taken publicly to atone. Her parents were murdered, she is a woman trying to avoid her

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BROKEN PRINCESS" WOW!!!!! Phenominal interesting, unique, intiguing, captivating, humorous, steamy hot erotic storyline with some very entertaing twists that have you turning page after page.
Princess Aya was a spoiled self centered priviledge young lady and her Uncle Vangir was the King of who ruled with terror to his people he even killed his two sons so they couldn't take over the throne.

Another innovative read by Loki Renard
This is a wonderful cross between a fairy tale and a wonderfully erotic human and Deity collaboration that made this a very erotic read. In a time when the King Vengar who was an evil tyrant who had completely turned his kingdom into a place of cruelty, murder and abject poverty.
The people of the realm have been preying to the deity Kazriel and then desperately calling to him to visit their world and to help them stop the evil ruler that wanted to harm all t

First of all, let me say this; I hope Loki Renard eventually turns this masterpiece into a series! I want more of this world, the characters, and future generations. Ok, that being said, time for the review of this book. A tyrannical king who has committed every type of cide possible to keep the line of succession from happening.
A princess who's been allowed to live under her Uncle's rule with the merciless rules and laws he's set in place for the kingdom. She's been kept ignorant and unschoole

Aya had it all. She was a princess and didn’t not need to worry about anything. Kazriel is the Guardian God that is to protect those of the land. He is heard the cries and has decided to take action. But the princess is the one that will receive all the pain of the people. She is the last in the royal line and must learn how her uncle treated those of her land.

I have to say when Aya spoke up, I agree with her. Where was he? Kazriel came to help his people but he let their cries go for a while.

Loki Renard’s “Broken Princess” was a fantabulous read. The story is of a very spoiled princess who learns how to be a queen and how she gets there is pure entertainment. Yes, there’s loads of sexy bits that are scintillating. But then there’s the humor. And I’m dying to share some of my faves and I really hope I don’t trigger any spoilers. “Frozen with terror, Aya whimpered and wailed as the demon king reached for her, the very tip of his claw touching the end of her nose in a gentle boop.” < ...more

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again: Loki Renard never disappoints in her books. Broken Princess is very close to being a fairytale, albeit a very adult and sensual one. If it’s one thing I’ve always admired about Loki, it’s her ability to lift me out of my mundane life to actually experience a different one. I got pulled into this story and I cared about the characters and what happened to them.

Princess Aya has led a sheltered and selfish life under the care of her uncle, the evil king. A

An erotic fairytale!

This was a strange tale of a King who was evil, ruthless and without remorse and was overthrown by the country's immortal god Kazriel. In his place was Princess Aya, niece of the former King. Totally unsuited and unprepared to rule, it is left to Kazriel to teach and train her for the task she is to undertake. Her innocence drew him and before long he fell under her spell and impregnated her with his seed. In doing so his strength was lost and he was forced to le

So phenomenally and compellingly dark and twisted, just when I thought I had a handle on this story, it morphed into something more. It is deep and dark, mythical and tragic, but refreshing at the same time. I wanted to hate Aya, but she had some valid points too when she argued that she was a victim too. Kazriel . . . that guy . . . he is a special kind of diety, it took me a while to appreciate him though. The hero's journey that Aya takes in this story is marginalized though because in the en ...more

Loved this dark twisted tale.

This is a fantastic story and such a great read. Princess Aya has been hiding away in her tower, while her wicked uncle the king tortures and starves the people of Lokheim. Her only thoughts are "better them than me" and the people of Lokheim have had enough, so they pray to the guardian God Kazriel to save them. When Kazriel shows up he throws out the king and decides that since princess Aya is the last of the royal bloodline he must reform her and teach her to be a

You know when reading a Loki Renard book that you'll get some top-notch, probably kinky, smut. And this certainly didn't disappoint in that area, even though it wasn't as OTT as some other stories. I was pleasantly surprised that I was just as invested in the world-building as the romance; it was very intriguing and reminded me of some ancient civilization, like a Sumerian or Babylonian society.

The romance was fast-paced but believable, and even as insanely exaggerated as Kazriel was, he was the

I absolutely enjoyed reading this deliciously dark Sci-Fi romance with a fairy-tale undertone. The plot is suspenseful with unexpected events & occurrences. The characters are well-developed with variety of traits and different sides to their individual personalities & react with realistic emotional feelings to the situations they find themselves in.
There is: a deviously cruel king & uncle (Vangir), a spoilt but feisty pampered princess kept from the world (Ava), a guardian god with

Aya is no Snow White, but she has an interesting story to tell! WOW! Aya is a princess locked away in her tower oblivious to the peasants misery done by her uncle. One day the deity of their realm Kazriel is awaken from his slumber and invades the kingdom. He is enthralled by Aya and tries to show her to have empathy for her people. Her short reign brings prosperity and peace to the kingdom until one day the evil king returns. No spoilers Their story is scorching hot and Kazriel dominant persona ...more

It's not often that I read a dark, steamy story and get something that touches me on an emotional level, but this one did just that. It was also done in a way that didn't throw me out of the darkness and passion of the relationship between Aya and Kazriel. That's all I'm going to say about the plot. Instead, I'm going to gush about the heat level, the passion, and the lessons that Aya needs to learn. Aya has a lot to learn about what it means to be a princess and I loved every second of her eye- ...more

Not Broken but Transformed
I loved Loki’s attention to detail in the storyline and the depictions of the characters and the world building. Aya has seen much in her life and lived with her brutish Uncle, the King. She is just trying to survive. Finally the savior God Kazriel awakens upon hearing the sorrow of the people of the land. He shames the King and casts him out to begin the training of Aya to be Queen. Aya doesn’t anticipate a love for Kazriel and neither does he. Her love changes him. He

Sometimes you have to be broken to reach your potential. There are Disney princesses and then there’s Aya... The author takes you on an dark, twisted journey that never gives you the hope that there will be a happily ever after ending. I reveled in the punishments, cringed at some of the more brutal moments, hoped for a hero to come to the rescue, but mainly thoroughly enjoyed being swept away to a fantasy place and time where kings, princesses, and gods existed, and the eventual victor will hav ...more

I love Loki Renard, so maybe it's fair to consider me biased. She's a solid writer, and I love her sense of humor. "Broken Princess" has all the elements I enjoy about her novels, including, yes, the humor...and the sex. And the spanking. And the sex.

I'm not going to rehash the plot; you can look that up yourself. Short version: sharp-tongued, spoiled princess gets to have sex with a horny god. Or a god with horns; take your pick. As if my achieving lifelong romance and erotic fulfillment wasn'

Don't get me wrong, I'm a hide fan of Ms. Loki's and I usually love her work, but this one just doesn't quite make it for me. Usually they are full of domination and submission, alpha males, BDSM elements, and steamy scenes. This just seems so . . . light on everything and focused more on Princess Aya's humiliation. There is the spanking and the dark themes. There is the male domination and the almost forced submission, but toward the end the continual humiliation was just. . . I don't know. It' ...more

The Ultimate Compliment

This story is about a God deciding to teach a princess a lesson in humility and making her be grateful for her life. He also taught her about passion in all its forms. How a ruler serves its people. And how to enjoy sensuality and passion. Kaz gave up his deity form to be human because of his love for her. It’s the ultimate show of love. He couldn’t watch her suffer, love is sacrifice and he gave up being a god. She had to give up her lush princess existence and spoiled m

This author has done it again!! A tale about a tyrannical King who is finally taken out of power, a pampered Princess that lives in the tower oblivious to the fact that her people have suffered and a Guardian who wants the princess to reach her full potential. Just that his methods of doing that were unconventional to say the least, he makes her suffer like her people had to. What an exciting book with battles, twists and turns. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!!

This is one of my favourite authors and she is amazing at describing the world where her story takes place. She also spends time with the main characters, ensuring that they are fully developed and fit in perfectly to their role within the plot. I really enjoyed this story and have yet to read a book by her that I didn’t enjoy. The plot is well thought out and presented so that I was able to follow along and have a relaxing couple of hours in the mystical world that the author created.

Loved the book, the story was well written. Loki Renard has never written anything I didn't like. The characters in the book were great, I liked Princess Aya she had to rectified the problems her uncle did, he stood in as King and was very evil. Kazriel had to listen to the people, so he had to train Princess Aya how to be Queen and listen to the people.

This book was a little weird in the beginning since I expected it to be in the POV of a single person but it was more narrative, which I later realized the more I read. As the story progressed it just got better and better. I really enjoyed this book, even the weird parts that happened here and there. No regrets reading this story. It was interesting.
