I had the pleasure of reading a digital ARC of Caitlin's Song provided by author John A. Heldt.

Caitlin's Song is the fourth and penultimate entry in the Carson Family Chronicles, the time travel adventures of the five Carson children attempting to track down and reunite with their parents. Reminiscent of the 60's tv show The Time Tunnel.

I have read all of MR. Heldt's books so far and thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. Caitlin's Song has decidedly lifted his game. I have commented before on wit

The Carson Family time travel saga continues. The 5 siblings with the people they have picked up on their travels are still looking for their parents--and their parents are still looking for them! They just keep missing each other and it has been almost 2 years now. Each new time period brings new, exciting and sometimes dangerous experiences.

It's Caitlin's turn. They are in 1962 and staying with the relatives of one of the others. These are darling people and you will grow to love them even as

Caitlin's Song (Carson Chronicles, #4) by John A Heldt

The fourth book in the Carson series is set around the siblings in the early 60's. Things are going good for the most part the older ones are married while the twins are in College. Then as danger occurs and a Killer is on the prowl, it is up to their parents to try and prevent murder.

The plot is engaging, thrilling and moves at a steady pace. The characters are well rounded, and very likable. Filled with adventure, thrills, danger, love and

Another great book in the series. I have always found John's books easy to read and hard to put down. The character development is excellent and the story line and history keeps you going. I'm anxiously waiting for the 5th and probably final book in this series.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!
This book quite literally had me on the edge of my seat from the off! I wanted to keep reading even when it got late at night and my clock was ticking closer to midnight knowing full well I had to get up for work the next morning! John doesn't disappoint again - he's nailed it this time. Here I thought the previous three in the series were good, Caitlin's Song just took everything to the next level.
The book picks up moments after the Carson's went through the portal into 1962, the

The Carson Children make an unplanned stop into 1962 and are based in Boulder, Colorado where Cody and Caitlin get to go to college. Their parents Tim and Caroline Carson are making a planned stop in 1972 but it becomes a nightmare when they read about their children's lives and discover that one has crossed paths with a killer. So broken hearted they race back to the past to reroute history. Will they manage and will the family ever meet up?

This is definitely full of lots of drama and excitemen

I received the book for a fair review. I have been following the family since River Rising, now I am jumping for joy for book 4. I am in love with Cailtin's Song, because it is different from the last 3. That is so Caitlin though, ever one who breaks the mould of things. This book is first to have two distinctly different story lines, apart from the normal. Clearly in the book, the whole theme is about actions and consequences. The two separate stories tell us that much, and the ending reinforce ...more

I could not wait to finish this book to learn the outcome. I hope #5 is equally engrossing and suspenseful. It was a great read. I have read all of John Heldt’s books.

A great series

I really enjoyed this latest in the Carson Chronicles. I love the whole series and can’t wait for the next one and I’m guessing Cody’s story. I can’t wait for the next one.

Caitlin’s Song is the fourth novel in the Carson Chronicles by John A. Heldt, which follows the adventures of time-traveling Carson siblings, Adam, Greg, Natalie, Cody, and Caitlin, as they try to reunite with their parents. They narrowly escape being shot down in a car chase in 1944 and wind up going through the portal too soon, arriving in 1962 instead of 1972, as was the plan on their parents’ itinerary. As the growing family adjusts to life in the Kennedy era, twins Cody and Caitlin attend c ...more

I absolutely love time travel novels!! I read this book so quickly and can hardly wait until the next one. His books are so good. The story is engaging and the history so interesting. I feel like I am there. The characters are so realistic that you feel like they are real. It's a wonderful blend of history and fiction...
This is a fairly clean story which I greatly appreciate. I'm not a big fan of sex or a lot of violence in novels so when I found this time travel series I was so excited. Sex is

The 60s with a twist.

Can't stop reading these books. They're full of adventure, history and good characters. In this book as previous books the mystery has a twist.

You can always count on John Heldt for a sweet, light read that is full of heart. This one had a bit more a thrill than the other books I've read from him. My jaw literally dropped open upon reading a shocking detail. While it does involve time travel, this isn't really science fiction. I would classify it more as historical fiction.
