Just For Now

Things in the department seem to be settling down after the drama with Stevie, and Midnight decides to reinstate her, setting her to work with Christian on a cyber crime case. But when Mikelya’s school is threatened, Midnight is thrust into the limelight and false accusations around Stevie’s reinstatement are made against her in a local newspaper.

To make matters worse, news of more health concerns for Joe circulate through the department, only serving to add to everyone’s stress levels.

As Midnight deals with the backlash from the article, Stevie and Christian become closer and both start to question their own romantic situations.

Too predictable.

There are far too many raven haired, green eyed white women, and chisled blond haired blue eyed muscle car driving white boys. Dont you know of nor can you imagine or CREATE law abiding, attractive bkack caracters, other thsn the criminal Mexican and African American protagonist that you used. You have a good story line. But it has, in all of your series become so boringly predictable (which is why I did not complete them all). Your lack of inclusivity, despite your WeHo series, is very disappointing. The old ways and old days of Butch and Femmes may be fading, but racial separatism still seems to exist , perpetuated by storylines like theae. Take a walk on the wild side- introduce hourself to some LGBTQ People of Color, you may be surprised to find real live "Midnight Chevalier" types right there in front of your facem in living color.

Lot of action. Too many people with their individual and intertwined lives unless one has read the entire series.
