Will you go for international assignment? If your answer is yes, then you need to read the book. The book noted the reason between success/failure of international assignment (including the stats), and gave some tips on how we can ‘survive’ in the foreign situation. The big idea offered is cultural relativism, means you can’t stick to what you’ve believed in your home country as a decision base when you speak/act/decide something in the new host country. The book also offers some advises from the successful role models (e.g. CEO and chairman of Reuters, Rover, and Schroders), which can give insight to the readers on how to prepare and facing the international assignment.
