Amy Waeschle never fails to deliver a page-turner. Really, it will be best to start reading Feeding the Fire on a weekend. The way she writes her characters makes you fall in love with them. The wit she puts in their mouths makes you ravenous to hear what they say next. And the insight she brings to the page will expand your worldview. Finish reading it, and you will find yourself doing that thing you do when you find a new favorite author—going back and picking up everything else they've writte ...more

Good book, but...

I would give this book two more stars except for the unnecessary profanity. I never finish a book if an author uses blasphemy, but made an exception because I love Amy’s books( this book really crosses the line with the worst language! Please don’t give in to your publishers who want the language relevant to the times. All your readers do not want to read such language!

I have found another favorite author that I have to go get all of her books to read! This book is awesome. An incredibly compelling story that will snag you from the beginning and keep you reading to the end - it is so difficult to put down. Wonderful characters and an awesome story. I highly recommend this book.

Her family is broken, her brother is missing and her mother is full of guilt. She hope he will help mend it but she starts her first fire. Now she cannot seem to stop. How many will she set? Will anyone die? Will she be caught? If she is how will it affect her family? See how she gets on

I really like this author and I liked this book. This wasn't my favorite by this author. I felt that things were left unfinished and things were covered up so people didn't have to get the punishment or even face what they did. I struggled with that piece of it. All in all it was well written I just felt hanging on some of the pieces of the story.
