I have been loving this series which is connected and intertwines with The Chosen One series. I love the direction it's all going. That being said, this wasn't a favorite of mine. I did love both mc's but I felt like the connection between the two was missing something for me. I didn't feel Jedrek "needed" Nick quite as much as Nick needed Jedrek. Or should I say as obsessed with Jedrek. I don't know how to really explain it but it just wasn't as appealing romance wise as the others have been. I ...more

I was tempted to give this 2 stars. This didn’t have the same feel as the previous books. I was disappointed.

Of the three books in this series, I for sure liked this one the best. I liked both characters, I liked the plot and I liked how the story overlaps the other things going on and moves everyone forward and gives us enough depth in the side characters that they feel dimensional.

I love me some Nick. Rawr.

If the cohesiveness of this book is due to the added author collab...keep it up.

This is my favorite book, from this series. Alpha Lion and a Hellhound make for a awesome couple. They are so sweet with each other. Plus no relationship drama. I LOVE IT. I relay enjoyed the overlap from The Chosen One series. It's great to see both points of view. There is a lot going on in both series. Its nice to get a bigger picture. This book is all about saving the cubs. So SUPER CUTE. These two are going to make great dads. I hope to see more of them as the series continues.

A GIANT pet peeve of mine is when an Author can’t let go of characters from previous books they’ve written. So they make these heavily interconnected spin off stories that leave the non-fangirls at a loss when they can’t place a side character and or care about their importance.

If an Author can’t let a series go they should just keep writing books for the same series. So that unsuspecting people (ME) don’t waste their time on something that’ll most likely be labeled DNF. It’s really truly unfai

Love Mary Blake's books! The world building is fantastic!
Now about the book it's good to read about an Alpha Alpha pairing instead of the omega. Hey, don't forget the Loin who loves to nap and roars at wrong time (LOL). It was light and the way pair start their new life in the coven is developed nicely.

Oooooh! now keenly waiting for the development in the supernatural world!

So waiting for the next part of both series. Can't wait for everyone's HEA.

Nick the Lion and Jederk the Hellhound make the best couple. I love Solomon and Cody but Nick with his no filter month was the best. Ready for more!!!

When this one was announced I was so excited, and never actually realised there was another author included until my friend pointed it out. In the time between preorder and reading I had again forgotten, but once I started I noticed that this one felt different from the previous books, and remembered that there was a new author involved. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think a new author was needed at this stage of the series, we are six books in, yes I’m includ

This book wasn’t as good as the rest of the book in the series. I would have given it a slightly higher score except the beginning of the book was so hard to get through. The main problem was Nick. He was so annoying. He got better as the book went on, but still I never warmed up to him fully. I did like Jedrak as his mate. I thought him very patient as Nick went through getting use to his lion. The second half of the book was definitely better

Give Him Hell!

This book is a payoff that brings a resolution of a major storyline running in both this series and The Chosen One series. An important book to read!

I love the Chosen one/hellhounds universe, but this installment felt a little bit like a filler book for me.

The pairing wasn't the strongest, and the focus was just as much on everything else that goes on in the universe as it was on the couple. For that reason, the connection took a bit of a back seat role, which is a shame, because I could feel the potential, but, to me, it ended up being very fast and shallow.

However, apart from the romantic pairing, this is a very important installment in th

I've liked Jedrek, but there was not much in the way of a coherent plot here, and the advance in master plot of the series was the bare minimum. Apparently the authors wanted to have fun with side characters from the previous books more than they wanted to move the master plot forward or describe a gradual relationship development. The book is made mostly of alternating cutesy scenes and sex scenes and it grows repetitive and tiresome real fast. While I appreciate the plot decision to give a hel ...more

Sawyers brother Nick meets Hellhound Jedrek, they get off to a rocky start.
Soon they begin to trust each other.
A fun read, even with the underlying serious storyline.
Again there is great world building in this book as there is in the previous books in this series, I was sucked right in.
Really enjoyable characters. They are sassy and have plenty of personality.
This book is definitely not a stand alone. Great continuation of the storyline.
I look forward to more of this series.

This was a bit more disjointed for me in comparison with books 1 and 2. I really felt the gap this time around since I’d not read the original series for which this is a spinoff where the first 2 books I didn’t.

I didn’t feel like our MCs got as much attention to their relationship as I would have liked and so I wasn’t as invested.

I still really like the world building and the magic and the HEAs but this just didn’t grab me as much as the others.

Lion comes home

This is probably my favorite book of this series yet! It has now rather irrevocably intertwined this series with the Chosen One series as one of the pair in this relationship is Nick, the brother mentioned in previous books. What with the events that go on in the other series effecting what happens for the Hellhounds, and now vice versa, it's pretty hard to read either series independent of the other. But they are both great and this hasn't been a hardship at all!

I LOVE this series. From ridiculously hot men and the partners they've been gifted, individual character strength, a strong overall story that connects each couple and their stories, shifters, to the sweet and sexy of each relationship, there's a whole lot to love about this world.

Honestly, the only reason this isn't a full 5 stars is because I wanted more of Jed's background. Up to this point he's been the strong, silent, stoic one. But who is he? Who was he? Where did

4* Give Him Hell is book 3 in the Hellhound Champions series by Macy Blake & Casey Drake, within the Chosen One series. This book cannot be read as a standalone.

Nick Smith, Sawyer and Mikey's oldest adopted brother, is on a mission to find the place he was held captive for most of his childhood and rescue the other kids held with him. But it's been 14 years and nothing is the same when he finally finds the location, including his shifter magic. Jedrek is sent out to the house where they fou

This incredible intertwined saga, really heats up in Give Him Hell: Hellhound Champions Book Three. The sheer excitement and adrenaline rush that I experienced reading this book , had me on the edge of my seat. Not only did it finally give up Nick's part of the story along with Jedrek it propels us even further to what I am sure will be an ultimate showdown in the Chosen on final book. More and more of the past is revealed as to what happened at that house of horrors throughout the years that aff ...more

I love this series and Give Him Hell is just as amazing as the other books. It is well written, fast-paced, full of surprising twists, hilarious, sexy, has an intriguing storyline and incredible characters. Nick and Jedrek feel an instant connection when they meet even though the circumstances are less than ideal. They have a lot to learn about each other and Nick is thrown head first into a new and confusing reality. I love how accepting Nick is and how Jedrek is always there to support him and ...more

Amazing! Love this universe!

Really, I could just leave it at the title and that would pretty much cover it, but I won’t.
I enjoyed this addition to the Hellhound Champions series/Chosen One world so much. I love seeing bits of the ongoing world story arc along with the happenings of each book, and also getting to see series characters making appearances too. It ties it all together and really makes the series “family” amazing as well.
As always there is a fair amount going on but plenty of focus

This series is so good. I am loving the plot and connection between the Hellhound Champions and The Chosen One series. After knowing that both Sawyer and Mikey had some paranormal stuff going on, it only made sense that we would meet the third brother, Nick. And boy did we. Nick was from the horrible place that Henry and the other kids were rescued from years ago. He has been trying to find the place again to save the kids and so frustrated that he wasn't able to help. He also has no clue he is ...more

This is a great entry in the Chosen One universe. We finally get to learn about Sawyer's brother Nick, and he is awesome! Nick starts out confused, unsure, and lonely. Once he meets Hellhound Jedrek and starts learning more about his own past and the world of magic that he now knows that he shares with his brothers, Nick begins to become the lion he was meant to be. I love Nick and his very lion-like ways. His protectiveness and bossiness over those he loves, his love of naps, and his disregard ...more

Jedrek is a hellhound. His job is to protect the supernatural world. When he returned to the evil house where the shifter children had been found, he didn’t expect to find his mate.

Nick has been looking for the house for a long time. He had escaped from the house years ago and has been trying to find it to rescue the children. His lion trying to destroy the evil he believes the hellhound to be. He didn’t expect to find a mate either.

Great story, full of mythical creatures, nasty evil witches, go

So I wanted to rate this higher just because I love this author and all her books so much but the beginning of this book was really lacking. The plot was awesome that's not what I'm talking about. If there is one thing Blake's books consist of is an awesome and never boring plot. What it was missing was the initial attraction from the characters. Yes they both thought the other was attractive but it didn't seem like they really had a connection before they were getting down and dirty to

Fantastic world-building with compelling characters and lots of action. I really loved this story and how each book in this series, gives us more of the complex and interesting plot. The characters are unique and multi-faceted with emotion, passion and personalities. They are not cookie-cutter characters and i love that!

The story really drew you into the world, you were not an observer, you were there. I so enjoyed the creative nature of this series where a coven can be part of a pride. I love
