Marcus was likely dead, killed by the Inquisition, or so it was believed. Then the vampire was found, broken beyond words, in an isolated prison fortress. Marcus had never expected to see daylight again, let alone be rescued by his mate. Now he worries he’ll drag Caleb into his darkness.

Caleb was the one who pulled Marcus out of his prison cell, and he’s determined to drag

A Vampire’s Redemption is the second book in the Inquisition Trilogy and continues the story started in A Mage’s Power. As such, this story is really not meant to stand alone. I loved that first book and have been eagerly awaiting this next installment.

My favorite aspect of this story is the found family connection among the characters. Caleb is an alpha wolf who left his pack years ago and has found a deep connection with his best friend, Rowan. And Marcus is par

The descriptive bit: A Mage’s Power: Book 1 – Rowan is a Master Mage in. He has an enchantment shop, he studies for even more Masters exams and he spends time humoring the attention of his best friend and werewolf, Caleb. He bumps into Inquisitor Shaw one day on the street and they have an instant attraction with a fair amount of curiosity. Shaw has a huge secret that may well tear them all apart in the end.

A Vampire’s Redemption: Book 2 – A member of Shaw’s squad, Marcus is a vampiEverstrandre
Only 3 stars and I am really sorry about that.

First all the things I loved in this book:
Keenan and Haxos
Thalanil and Orion
Hale (of course, who wouldn't)
Tate (would make a perfect mate to Hale ... but I think he is already occupied;) )
And Rhys (who would be a good MC for his own book)

So you see ... the characters in this book are great and the reason why I will read the last book as well.
Also the friendships and familial bonds are worth experiencing

But that and the idea if

Take heed of the author's note. These books are not standalones. But you need to be reading this series. Damn you guys are rocking these Paras books lately. At the end of book one, Rowan and Shaw's story, Rowan's best friend, Caleb, helps to free the prisoners of this warped experimental place for Paras. When he goes to the last cell, to free the last one, one word came to mind. Mate. Quickly followed by 'mine'.
So this is Caleb and Marcus's story. Marcus was caught off guard and captured by the

I adore these books they’re so much fun and I love the relationships between the men so much. The story and world building are really good and I look forward to the third book so much. A fun, entertaining read.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

I'm excited the next chapter in the trilogy is finally ready. Our boys are off to new adventures, and this time it's Caleb and Marcus that are taking the reins. No worries; all your old favorites will be back (you think Shaw and Rowan are about to go anywhere?), and a whole host of new characters will be joining the fun. This #ownvoices novel was difficult to write at times but also incredibly satisfying. I can't wait for everyone to continue on this journey with us. Careful...there's magic afoo ...more

This series is adorable.
With brilliant world building, wonderful relationship development, and plenty of intrigue.
The friendships, and family are great - meeting Hale was a highlight for me.

A fun, sweet, interesting and entertaining read.

Now I have to be completely honest and say that I have not read the first book in this trilogy but after reading this book I will be going back and reading it. I will say that I normally want to read the first book in a series such as a trilogy but I was not too lost on what was going on so that made not having read the first book too bad. I believe, if I am being honest, that’s this book probably just picked up where book one ended so for me not having read it, it was pretty much like I started ...more
Four and a half stars for such good world building details.
Keeping me interested and entertained.
There is no sex scenes, all off camera. Which surprisingly didn't detract from the story. I just like my books to have some in your face hotness.
This is book two and I enjoyed it as much as book one. The writing style just sucks you in. Caleb and Marcus are so sweet with each other.
I liked them both together and apart.
This book will definitely get a second read.
Look forward to more from the squad too

I wanted to love this so much! I am gutted this ended up not being my cup of tea, while I loved the characters to bits, I just didn't click with the plot or writing style.

I read the first book around a year ago now (also through NetGalley), I would definitely suggest reading the first book before this one! Even though this book follows different characters, I feel like there is the potential to get very lost if you r

This is the second book of The Inquisition Trilogy, and Wolfe has stayed true to their voice and writing style. A Mage’s Power had some fantastic and detailed magic, and one scene that still stands out was during the Charm making. A Vampire’s Redemption is very much the same vein (all the puns intended), but instead of the focus on Rowan the magician, we are told the story of Marcus, the vampire. Marcus, recently rescued from one of The Inquisition’s experimentation facilities, is livin

Loved the writing but the story wasn't quite as powerful as the first book. Still a great read and I'm looking forward to the ending.

I quite liked the world of the first book and was really looking forward to the next in the series. However, I feel like this one is a bit of a come down after the first book. Everything just seemed to move very quickly and I was often confused as to why the characters were making the decisions they were.
