This book has me so excited! Why, you may ask? Well add another 'Slow Burn Queen' to the ranks with Mariana Zapata and Elle Kennedy!

This story caught my attention from the beginning and had me interested but as I dove deeper into the story, I became more and more invested. The chemistry between the two main characters was dynamic and the tension was off the charts. It was one hot and steamy read! Not only did the author have an amazingly delectable writing style that flowed with ease but she was

Katherine has been with her boyfriend a little over a year, moving in with him straight out of high school. After a night of partying with him she wakes up, truly wakes up and realizes she is no longer happy. She needs to end things, leave town and find her place in the world. It’s definitely not with him.

Decker has been let down once again by his flighty, free spirited girlfriend. He shouldn’t be surprised but she has made him realize that he is just wasting his time with her, in fact he now kn

Bury me in angst people because this story is filled with it. From the start to end, this semi slow-burn featured Katherine and Decker who missed their window of opportunity a year prior to meeting before simultaneously ending toxic relationships down the line in which case they decided to embark on a road trip together towards Colorado for some self-discovery. I instantly fell in love with the relatable characters and their well mesh chemistry. It's hard to come across romance l

I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review. This was my first book by Malynda Schlegel, so I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I was pleasantly surprised by Our Dust Has a Pulse. It kept me intrigued and invested, as the relationship between Katherine and Decker developed.
Being attracted to each other from afar, and then ending up on an unexpected road trip together, a wonderful slow burn and angst-filled. It’s the moments you don’t see coming. Decker is attentive, it’s the small things he does but is in no way insignificant. He paid attention to Katherine when her boyfriend at the time didn’t. Together they come into t

Malynda's first book was a psychological thriller that blew my mind. When she told me she was writing a romance on the occasion I was lucky enough to meet her, I was floored but excited.

Our Dust Has a Pulse does not disappoint. While completely different from Pippa, it is just as amazing. Congrats on another phenomenal book !

Received a complimentary copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. A large shout out and thank you to Malynda Schlegel!

When I read the blurb for Our Dust Has A Pulse, I knew I had to read this book and I'm so glad I did, because while this book was beautiful what I loved about it was all the ugly. All character development based books showcase a lot of ugly, all the poison within the protagonist that leaks

New to me author and books! I was happy to receive this ARC because the Blurb alone is what got me!

This is a VERY SLOW BURN! As much as I love them you pair very angsty and I was pulling my hair out hehe in a good way that is. I don’t mind them at all but this was the QUEEN of it all! Beautiful small-town friends-to-lovers romance that will have you swooning and sighing a lot! It did start off a little slow for me but not too far in, once it picked up I was very invested in it. Our Dust Has A Pulse ARC Review

This is a story filled with love, loss, and adventure but most of all two people finding themselves together.
Katherine has nothing that’s really hers and she lives with her douche bag boyfriend Brodie. She use to let things go and try to see all the good but is finally bothered with it all and faced with the fact Brodie isn’t who she wants to be with anymore. With a little money in her pocket Katherine packs up her stuff and leaves with no destination in mind b

Sweet and funny story of two people who by chance end up together on a roadtrip. You can read from both sides, which is a good thing to get to know Katherine as well as Decker, but there is for the most part too much elaboration on their thoughts. However, you still end up wanting to know if these two people find their way.

He is going back home. She is trying to find a home.

Katherine Colby has always been a passive player in her own life and it’s time to take charge. After realizing her year long relationship with Brodie has gone sour, she is determined to find a life outside delaware.

Decker Jeffreys knows a thing or two about broken relationships. Some are worth fixing, like his family, and others are beyond repair, like his ex Greta. A year ago Decker was determined for a fresh start and ended up in Katherines

I loved this book! As the story goes back and forth between Katherine and Decker you almost forget that they are young adults. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that provided so much wisdom. There is eye opening insight about love, life and family from beginning to end. As they make the road trip from Katherine’s hometown to Decker’s you learn how they were hurt and let down through their childhood and into adulthood. You also get to experience Katherine letting go of who she used to be and di ...more

I really enjoyed this book! It had me reflecting a ton and questioning many personal decisions I’d made at the characters’ ages.

I didn’t care for Katherine during the first few chapters but when she finally started living for herself and was truly “free”, she completely blew me away. Her transition was rather sudden and felt a little unrealistic but I tried not to focus on that and instead enjoy her new found sassiness and honesty. Her bluntness was so refreshing and I absolutely adored her vuln

An arc of this book was given to me by the author in exchange for a review.

This is a very high angst book. The characters spend an incredible amount of time overthinking everything. Some readers might really enjoy this, but it's not my favorite style. Although it's a road-trip story, not a lot happens as far as action. This made the pacing feel very slow to me.

The heroine is barely 19, but refers to her love-life as if she has many more years of experience and heartbreak under her belt.

was such a sweet book about Decker & Katherine. I really loved the development of their relationship and the growth of each character, especially Katherine.

This is a book about finding ones self and breaking out of the bonds of your past that keep you complacent.

I love the bond between Katherine and her sister Phoenix and Marcus her fiancee. These secondary characters really added to the story

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Katherine and Decker. There is plenty of angst to go with the sl
