best textbook I've ever read solely for these lines:

Although there was much useful information in that short cartoon, it could have been more realistic. Bill could have been “surrounded by ninety or so expired comrades scattered about the steps of Capitol Hill.”

Had our cartoon friend, Bill, wanted to visit his deceased comrades to pay his animated respects, congressional committees are the battlegrounds on which he would have found most of their parchment remains.

What can I say it is perfect for helping my AP students. Truly the best that I looked through. Five stars for a textbook, three for enjoyment...I mean it is a textbook.
