My name is Everly Dupree and when my marriage ended, I more or less landed on my feet.
I moved back home, bought a house, and found a job. Maybe not the best job in the world, but it paid the bills. But now my boss is dead and I'm the only one who knows it was murder.
And the house? Well, it's a great house... full of interesting things and not haunted at all.
I am, but that's a story you'll have to read to believe.
The Haunted Everly After series featuring the spunky Everly Dupree is a cozy mystery with a hint of the supernatural.

I live in Maine with my husband, a silly flufferpup named Dash, and a crazy cat named Cricket. I write full time and also create mixed media artwork when I get the chance.
When I was three, my mom brought home a new book and when she went to read it to me, I read it to her instead. That was when she realized I'd learned to read. Since then I couldn't even estimate the number of books I've read. It's a lot!

Awesome. What a great plot and the way the characters have come alive and leap of the page is stunning. She is still trying to recover from her first ghost when a dog come barrelling into her life. Throw in a hoarders paradise, a pregnant BFF, an unruly dog (but loveable all the same), plans for a new venture, a new job and obedience classes. Plus getting rid of the ability to see ghosts. But is this the right move? Will she find the killer?

This is a good series. well done characters and intriguing mysteries.
Amazon synopsis: She had no intention of getting involved in Mooselick River’s annual town-wide yard sale, but saying no to Martha Tipton is like trying to wrestle a cat into a bathtub.
One minute, Everly's sorting through attic junk and dodging cutthroat bargain hunters—the next, an oversized chocolate lab comes barreling toward her at full speed.
And drags her straight to a body.
Buried under a mountain of shredded paperwork at the recycling center, Everly’s overbearing, micromanaging boss, Spencer Charles, is very dead. Unfortunately for her, his ghost shows up before the cops do.
Spencer is just as nitpicky and demanding in death as he was in life and seems to think Everly is his own personal psychic detective. He’s convinced he was murdered and—you guessed it—won’t stop haunting her until she proves it.
Officer Ernie Polk already finds Everly's involvement way too suspicious. How else could she have known Spencer's death wasn't accidental before the police did?
To top it off, it turns out Molly, the massive, tail-wagging pup who led her to the crime scene belonged to Spencer—and now refuses to leave Everly's side.
Between dodging Ernie’s mounting questions, fending off nosy small-town gossips, and trying to keep Molly from digging up more trouble—literally and figuratively—Everly has enough bones to pick without adding a murder investigation to the pile.
Book two picks up a few weeks after the end of book one, and we find Everly somewhat settled back into the life of her hometown; that is right up until she finds her boss Spencer’s dog, and right afterwards, his body. While Everly is certain that Spencer was murdered (after all, his ghost is pretty adamant about that fact), everyone else seems to think it was a terrible accident. Spencer is a difficult ghost, causing all kinds of trouble, and Everly has difficulty proving her case…
This is an entertaining paranormal cosy mystery, with our heroine Everly trying to have a fresh start, only her new life isn’t quite going as she planned. There are old and new friends, some potential issues with her ex coming down the pike, and of course the issues that come with dealing with the second murder victim she has found in as many months. It makes for an enjoyable, and fairly quick read, that fans of paranormal mystery and small towns will enjoy.
I’m grateful to the authors of this book for giving us a dog to love. Forget the characters and the plot…dogs are all I need.
What? Not that exciting to you? Okay, I loved the characters and the plot. But Molly the dog was my favorite part. I’m happy to report that most of the people from Book 1 make appearances in this story. But I’m thrilled to meet Molly, the Chocolate Lab. Loving, rambunctious and full of energy. A true Lab.
Yes, there is a dead body and Everly, our intrepid main character, found the body. I am happy to report that this was not an echo of book one. The story was fresh, new, and held my interest better than the first book.
Really quick cozy mystery read. I liked this one more than Book 1, but it still seems stilted and pretty limited in any details. Everly's lawyer shows up excited to have her dispute the divorce settlement but there seems to be more behind the scenes that doesn't make sense. Brief interludes with Neena and Jacy are amusing but don't really add to the storyline. Everly's boss is murdered, and she sees his ghost but goes to Jacy's grandmother to have her "sight" removed. She stops seeing the ghost until she decides she needs to see him again and calls him back through a Ouija board. It's a little bizarre. The killer and rationale for why is pretty strange too - similar to Book 1. Maybe a statement on the twisted reasons people snap??
I found these authors by accident when I started her Psychic Seasons series. Each of the four books was excellent with sweet ghosts and some not so sweet. When I saw her name on this series, I immediately bought the first one, which then led to Bargain Hunter. Still more ghosts and mystery and best friends to rival me and my bff. If you enjoy a good mystery without graphic sex and language, then please do yourself a favor and give this series a chance. I don’t think you’ll be sorry.
I really loved this book. It was an easy read and great fun. It seems that every time Everyl gets things under control it all falls apart. If you like a story that is about something we all could go through in our lives and see that there is a good outcome this is it. I cannot wait to see what happens between her ex-husband Paul, there is a new set of problems about to raise their ugly head. I am looking forward to reading the next book. If you like easy reads, fun characters great story lines you will love this series. I highly recommend this book.
Bargain Haunter is a fun cozy mystery. Everly Dupree has landed on her feet. New house, in the process of getting divorced, a great job….what can go wrong. Well, when her boss, Spencer Charles, turns up dead, and he starts haunting her, Everly knows that this is not an accidental death. It is murder. Unfortunately, death as not changed his nasty personality. But a promise is a promise. Everly is determined to help him so that he can rest in peace. Another fun read.
This time the heroine finds her boss dead. And her boss's beautiful chocolate lab puppy winds up at her front door. There is a lot of small town drama going on and interactions with her two friends. No real action was taken to solve the murder until close to the end of the book. Nonetheless I found the book entertaining and I did not want to stop reading until the end.
Bargain Hunter : A Ghostly Mystery Series book 2 by Regina selling, Erin Lynn
This was a great mystery too. Book 2 was as good as the fist book. So I will keep reading them. I highly recommend all their books and different series. They write great mysteries and I did not know who the killer was until the end. Diana Romano.
There are more threads of the past and the weasel husband running through this story and they look to be winding up another doozy of an intriguing run in with the weasel. Also, another murder and ghost appear. When you suddenly start being haunted by ghosts, would it be a gift you wanted to keep?
I did not particularly love this this. I don't think there was probably anything wrong with the writing or the plotting or anything else intrinsic to the storytelling ... it's just that when a dog gets placed in the middle of the drama, I get squeamish. Yes. It all comes out right in the end, but there were just sections that put me off.
Really enjoy reading this series..the cast of characters s marvelous. Some authors have too Much j Introspection they become boring. Keep up the good writing. I have to read free books because Amazon stole over 300 books I had bought over 15 Years so I appreciate your series. Mary escarcega
Everly starts her new job. She is doing great. Her boss is a piece of work but her opinion on men isn't a good one. When a dog shows up on her door step and then to her dead boss it's time to figure out who killed him so he can leave her alone and go into the light.
Once again Everly finds herself helping the dead find peace and their killer. This time around her boss, Spencer has her working overtime to not only help close housing loans but solving a murder. Along the way a furry friend finds a new home, the fabulous old house gives up more of her secrets and Everly puts her former charity organization skills to use.
Bargain Haunted: A. Cozy Mystery with a Ghostly Twist, Book Two
I would recommend this book to a reader who enjoys reading about fun characters in unusual circumstances due to the addition of an unusual ghost problem. I really enjoyed the story and the Writers style of storytelling.
I really like this storyline. The characters are well developed and interesting. The conversations flow naturally and the plot moves at a good pace. It was hard to put the book down. Can't wait for more!
I have not read book 1yet but I will now. I truly enjoyed this story and I feel as if I had new friends. Thank you so much for this story. It was like I was reading my dreams. Loved it.
Everly has settled into her house and stumbles across another dead body. Hilarity and messes ensue. I really like these books though in this one I correctly identified the "who" that done it.
Too bad I have to wait two more months to get part three.
This is a great book! If you love ghosts and dogs, you'll love this. Everly is once again haunted by a ghost and she gets his dog in the process. In top of that she starts cleaning up her house and gets a new job. Good book.
What a refreshing find! This book has so many twists and turns and misdirects that the reader feels as if he is on a roller coaster. Bravo! Surprise ending I doubt you will see coming.
A dog rings Everly’s door bell and leads her to her boss’s body. Now, he is haunting her, in his demanding way, ignoring all her rules of privacy. Can she find his killer and save her sanity?
After Everly gets roped into a yard sale, a beautiful golden retriever shows up at her door. Unfortunately the dog belongs to her boss Spencer that was murdered. A fun story to read and a great book.
I have enjoyed reading this series. I love a good mystery with ghosts thrown in. I will say this one wasn't as good as the first though and got confusing at times I'd also really like a little romance here and there to spice things up.
The more I read of this series, the more I fall in love with the town and its citizens. After this story, I want to go for a visit and see all Catherine's art. Would recommend to anyone who likes cozies!!!😍😍😊
I enjoyed this second book more than the first. I especially loved Molly and Everly's adventures getting used to Molly. This series is getting more fun to read.
I love a good mystery and I love a good dog story. Bargain Haunting is both. Almost divorced Everly is adjusting to her amazing new home and confused about her new job responsibilities. Then along comes Molly, A Lab pup, who leads her to a new body. You won't believe the ending!
I know the books are about murders. But somehow they seem a little fun with a lot of humor. I really enjoy them and the cast of characters she associates with. So far an ex boyfriend and her employer have been killed, who will be next?
