Find You Again by Jan Thompson is a delightful Christian romance. It is the eighth book in the Savannah Sweethearts series but can be read as a stand-alone.
We all have a past. If we do not deal with past issues, they may become present difficulties. The novel shows that if we try to conceal past sins, the burden will drag us down. As Christians we need to live in the light. Old secrets must be dealt with or we will build a wedge between us and others, and us and God. “The hidden sin that had pulled him away from God was no more.” Confession is good for the soul and it is freeing.
There is the theme of fathers. Sometimes our earthly fathers are absent. Our heavenly Father never leaves us and he can be trusted.
When life deals us blows, it is good to be able to know where to turn for support. The church was God’s great idea for planet earth. It is a place where we can go to build each other up and to support each other. We need to remember “God is still good, no matter what happens.”
We are told by Jesus to go into all the world and make disciples. How do we do this? By showing Jesus to the world through our actions. We need to love people into the kingdom and let God do the convicting. It is never our job to judge but to love.
The characters are warm and welcoming. There are some highly amusing moments caused by an elderly aunt with a love for honking horns as she travels in her wheelchair. Age is no respecter of private lives as meddling and match making come easily to the elderly!
Find You Again was a delightful read that will leave you smiling. I want to leave you with a powerful quote:
“The Christian life is not meant to be convenient, but cleansing.”

Roger is a amazing man. When he first met Cheyenne he never thought that she would come back into his life again. Aunt Gemma is a handful, the way she tests Roger will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what she does next. When Leila shows up Rogers life completely changes. The characters in this book are all very special people who you will enjoy reading about. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.

Find You Again book number eight in Savannah Sweethearts.. It can be read as a standalone. Thompson writes a sweet delightful romance that I did not want to put down. Roger is a man who does not want another relationship because he has been burnt to many times. After a few years Cheyenne comes back into his life. I laughed at aunt Gemma , she is the life of the story. Roger has a secret that comes back from the past. What and can he do about it? I loved the story and the characters , both were well written.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book , but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.

What they found
What they found was more than they ever dreamed. They found love, first in the Lord and then together: a love that would help them as they went through each other's trials together. Very well done!

Ok
It wasn’t bad but not my favorite. It was slower paced for my taste but I will definitely keep reading Jan’s books because I’ve loved almost all the other ones I’ve read.
