Oh my bleeding heart! I have no idea who to trust! My mind is a puddle and trying to figure it all out is futile! Being a part of this amazing realm again is exciting and I’m loving the new characters but I know Meg is going to throw some wicked curveballs and I’m not ready! I am so invested already and I have an idea of what I want or think will happen but that’s useless! Meg Anne always shocks, surprises and NEVER lets me down! I know what’s to come is going to be epic and my heart will be bat ...more

The Keepers is a new take on our typical fantasy heroine, following the story of a flawed but relatable young woman as she finds herself in the midst of a war where she is the only who See's what's coming. Anne beautifully weaves together the suspense and vivid world-building fantasy readers love, along with the deliciously angst ridden romance that keeps you turning the pages.

After reading The Dreamer, I was excited for this book as it was just the start of something incredible. And boy, Meg Anne really gave us a treat with this one. I couldn’t fault it at all, she did an amazing job at writing it, the plot was incredible as was the characters. Back in The Dreamer, you can’t help but want Kieran and Effie to end up together, you see different sides of things, but at the same time your heart kind of melts for him. So when he does finally lay eyes on Effie it’s a shock ...more

Holy moly! That was great! My only complaint is that the ending came too soon and was a cliff hanger! I have so many ideas of where this is going and who is who. I can’t wait to read the next one. The characters were so perfectly written. I immediately picked a man, Lucian. I loved the tension between them right away even if to start with it was in my head. My only disappointment is the lack of action between them but that can be easily remedied. Mind you I do love the dynamic that is holding th ...more

First off, let me tell you how excited I am to be reading more about the characters I fell in love with while reading Meg Anne's Chosen series! This is Effie's journey of becoming the newest initiate of the Keepers of Prophecy-a secret order that sees what the future holds. I just love Effie! She is as fierce as she is determined! I love how she interacts with The Triumvirate, her tutor, Kieran, and her guardians-especially Lucian.

Once again, Meg Anne has created a world

Oh wow...loved this book! This is an exciting and intriguing read that had me interested all the way through! Effie is a different, realistic and relatable character. She is going through some tough times and her reactions are spot on! I love how she acts with The Triumvirate and I want to learn more about the three of them and how they act differently with Effie..her nicknames are great for them all!! Kieran kind of creeps me out and I do not like how he acts in this book, but I really like the ...more

what a phenomenal start to a new series... I am already very eagerly anticipating the next installment... full review later this week, on the release day :)

edited to add my full review :)

I voluntarily reviewed an early copy of this book :) oh what a phenomenal start to a new series this was... full of surprising twists, phenomenal writing style, with my favourite type of heroine as the main character :) as in strong but flawed... I just love when a character is flawed and make mistakes, but is w

No No No No No I had such high hopes for him. He went through so much. He gave up so much. I wanted him to be able to redeem himself and have his visions come true . . . and then he, well you know the deal read it for yourself. This freaking author has done wonderful things in the book and has you all over the place as we follow Effie’s training. Watching her fight her insecurities and battling with emotions, she’s so overwhelmed it’s painful watching her act out. It’s a side Darren helped her c ...more

Omg y'all! This book is EVERYTHING! I have been a die hard fan of this storyline since Helena's first book and I honestly didn't think I could love The Chosen more but Effie's journey has me over here all pumped and ecstatic! It was definitely an emotional rollercoaster for me but it was one I more than enjoyed. I'm so excited to see where book 2 take Effie and her band of comrades! And all I can say for Lucian is YUM! I licked him first ladies, hands off! Lol.

This book picks up where sweet Effie leaves the main band of our Chosen heroes.

Her journey is really entertaining to witness. I loved getting to see deeper into the world of the Triumverate and her sass towards them! Lots of laugh out loud moments and plenty of action/mystery.

Can't wait for the next one :D

Mother’s Ti**s Meg Anne has done it again!

Effie is one of my favorite characters and this book just WOW’ed me.

The Keeper's Legacy picks up where Effie has left her family (the Chosen) to go and learn how to interpret her visions from her new family (the Triumvirate).

Effie is bold, brave, determined, but also scared to death. Leaving all that she knows behind to begin a new life has brought out some of her old insecurities and emotions. Kieran, her tutor, along with her guardians Lucian and Kael,

Wow.....Just wow.....I really loved this book! I will admit it took me 2 or 3 chapters to really get into the story but once it got going I could not put it down! I fell in love with Effie in the Chosen series and was ecstatic to learn she was getting her own spin off series! If you haven't read Meg Anne's Chosen series I highly recommend it. The action and sexiness in this book are on par with Meg's other series. In this first book we are introduced to new and old characters. Effie is the main ...more

I so wanted Effie to find some peace with her gift. She did find some but also plenty of trouble along the way.

Kieran --- insert a big sigh here --- I had high hopes for him and he made me want to shake him at many moments. I know, I know he was trying but.... Well maybe in the future books he will shape up. :)

This was another powerful and magical book. If is great to see Effie evolve but I feel so bad for her struggle. Her visions bring plenty of scariness and she wants only what is best for h

I liked Effie when I met her back in The Chosen series but now I like her even more. Her character is really growing and becoming stronger. It takes a lot of courage to journey to the unknown with powerful beings that you are not sure you can trust entirely. Effie shows great perseverance and strength in her quest to become better skilled with her gifts and to keep her friends safe.
I liked the new friends she’s made along the way especially Lucian. The two of them are awesome together. I couldn’

Meg Anne really nailed the characters and settings of this book. As your reading it you really feel like you are with them and you really personally know the characters and she makes you root for them and have your favorites and you want to fight for your character.

Omg i love Effie so much. The character development she has since the book started os so wonderful, i loved her so much and i feel she is so relatable to everyone.

What a wonderful new addition to the Chosen series.
Effie is now a Seer, but she doesn’t know how to control or understand her visions. She needs to do both to help Helena and her Circle, so she follows the Keepers to their city. There she meets Kieran, her tutor, and Lucian and Kael, who are Guardians.
Effie is overwhelmed with everything that has happened and is happening to her. She has quite a few interesting adventures while she is finding her way. I’m interested to see what happens next and

“I’ve never been important before.” “Maybe not in your own eyes Effie, but you have always been important to those that truly see you. Perhaps it’s time for you to truly see yourself.”

After losing two of the most important people in her life, Effie is starting anew with the Keepers trying to learn how to interpret what she Sees. Meeting Keiren and Lucian, struggling with her relationships with both of them and dealing with some new, troubling visions, Effie’s self image is at an all time low. Wi

A superb book, 6 STARS!!!!. A fresh take on fantasy about Keepers (people that glimpses of the future), Guardians and a WHOLE lot of action as Effie has to find out what evil is coming forth. This is such an exciting read! The storyline is SO intriguing that all you want to do is keep turning the page to find out more. A good book. The premise was interesting and the writing style was engaging. I haven’t read any books by this author previously and I did feel I was missing bits and pieces when I first started the book (apparently there are some characters from previous books in this one, but this book is still supposed to be able to be read without knowledge of these other books), however I did still quickly get involved in the story and found it enjoyable to read.

This is my first book I've read in the Chosen universe and I loved the story and characters. I assumed that the Chosen books revolve around Helena, and went back to read the blurbs and discovered that I already bought a couple of them, so they're moving to the top of the TBR! Effie is a strong and determined warrior that moves to the Citadel to understand her Keeper gifts and is assigned a tutor and two of the three Guardians, that have to work very hard to keep her safe. The book is adventurous ...more

Incredible! If I had to sum this book up in a single word, incredible. A new series spin off from the Chosen series this is the story of Effie and her journey to become the newest initiate of the Keepers of Prophecy. Effie journey is not an easy one and is fraught with struggles from the very beginning. Written with just as much intensity and rich plot lines as all of Meg Anne's other books you can't help but get drawn in from the start. A fast paced, can't put it down read that ends..... in a c ...more

Holy smokes. Hehe - smoke. Anyways. This book was wild. Parts of it had a very game of thrones feel to it, while still being a totally unique story. The main character is a bit of a brat while still being likeable, and there are multiple potential love interests. I really don’t have any clue what will happen next, and I love that this book has some meat to it in that the romance takes a backseat to the plot, without being completely absent. I’m so ready for the rest of the series.

This is the first book in The Keeper's series. With everyone she's ever loved dead Effie's fate is no longer one of her choosing. She becomes the newest initiate of the Keepers of Prophecy. Meg did a great job with this book. It did take me a minute to get into it but after that it was great. Meg is a fantastic writer and so creative! Now I want to go and read her other books in the Chosen universe. 4 stars

This book starts a new series in Chosen circle. Effie's book will take you on an emotional journey of her trying to find out what her visions mean and what she can do to help Helena and the others. She is meets Kieran whose is her tutor, Lucian and Kael are her guardians. With each page and word you read it gives you more insight as to what Effie is going thur and sometimes it's funny and sometimes is sad and will make you cry. Amazing read can't wait for the next one.

This book was so good! I adore all of the characters and the originality of the world! I am anxious to read the next book bc I have no doubt it will be just as good, if not better!
I found a kinship with the MC and her insecurities. It was refreshing that she wasn’t totally confident and sure of her abilities. I highly recommend this book and will be checking out the author’s other books!

If you like a fantastical fantasy world, then this story is for you! Mag Anne hit this book out of the park. The story building was amazing and created such a vivid picture in my mind while reading. Effie was a wonderful character, flawed yet strong at the same time. Kieran made me want to smack him or kick his butt half the time, but you still couldn't help but love him. Cannot wait for book 2

Meg Anne has always had stories running on a loop in her head. They started off as daydreams about how the evil queen (aka Mom) had her slaving away doing chores; and more recently shifted into creating backgrounds about the people stuck beside her during rush hour. The stories have been there, they were just waiting for her to tell them.

Like any true SoCal native, Meg enjoys staying inside curled
