Rate this book
When Akash finds himself at a crossroads in life, with all of the material things he could wish for but none of the true essentials for happiness, he begins a search for meaning. During this search he stumbles upon The Story Teller’s Secret, a unique and mysterious resort, run by the enigmatic Rudra.

Rudra’s aura of peace and tranquility immediately captivates Akash, and his mantra, that we are all born free, with no boundaries or limitations, and with only infinite possibilities before us, is compelling.

Soon he finds himself on his way to The Story Teller’s Secret, hoping that it will provide the answers that have been promised. But can the birds, the trees, the river and nature, help Akash to discover how to rid himself of the fears that have held him back for so long?

And does he have the courage, to break free from the shackles of conventional thought and do what makes his heart sing?
Life is short and time to find the answers to the most important questions is even shorter. But at The Story Teller’s Secret, Akash may just have found the best opportunity to reassess his life’s path.

I couldn't get through it. Stopped about 1/4 fo the way through. I'm not a fan of this authors writing style.

I did enjoy this book. Written from the perspective of modern day India and the days when the Raj ruled. It was a sad story but a real one.
