I confess, it's been awhile since I last read this series and I forgot some of what was happening but the more I read the story the more memories came back. So I would definitely recommend to read all of the previous books in this series, just so you don't get lost in what's happening plot wise.
And that brings me to the plot of this story. It was all right but I was quite disappointed that nothing really happened

Usaeil's threat to the Fae is stronger than ever and the Reapers need all of the allies they can get. However, she's got two of their own in her clutches. Bradach, who has a healthy dose of hate for all dark fae, is chosen to locate Usaeil in order to rescue Xaneth. He's got to rely on the knowledge of Maeve the Merciless, a dark fae with a reputation that precedes her, because she's got information about Usaeil they wouldn't get otherwise. She's everything he's supposed to hate. So why is he so ...more

Ok, Maeve was awesome! I've mentioned many times before that I love the heroines who can really kick butt, and Maeve can kick some serious butt. She is going to make a great addition to the upcoming war. I also like the mystery surrounding her.

Bradach is part of the Reaper group that was kept secret for awhile so he's fairly new. He has a hatred for the Dark Fae, and for him to work with the Dark Fae King and Maeve was not done lightly. I like that his reaction to her was instant despite how he

Oo it was definitely time for Bradach to get his world turned upside down ! This big bad Reaper starts out convinced that he could never trust a Dark Fae and then meets Maeve or should I say Maeve the Merciless ! From their first meeting the chemistry sizzles but thankfully the romance itself went at a more realistic pace. These books are quite short so can occasionally suffer from instant love and rumpy pumpy so I much preferred this.
This story whilst not exactly moving the overall plot along

Love this series, but I wasn't as invested in this one since I did really know Bradach. I don't remember anything about him from the previous books. Maeve was one kick arse Fae. I loved how their relationship evolved. Best part was with the Dragon Kings and other Reapers.

Can't wait for Fever and maybe will finally find out where the UB!tch has Con and Xaneth...and where the heck is Rhi?

With this eighth book in the Reaper series, Donna Grant delivers yet another fun and exciting book. This time the hero of the book is Bradach and the heroine is Maeve. If you like strong heroines who sweep the hero off their feet, then I think you’ll love this book.

Bradach and Maeve could seem like an unlikely match but these two alpha personalities do complement each other nicely. I have come to realize that the romances in this series tend to unfold much more rapidly in this series compar

Firstly, this is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone. I know, I double-checked before I requested it.
However, for the full experience, I seriously recommend that you read some of the other books. I found myself lost with a bit of the history (which was assumed that you should know—I assume this was written that way to minimise spoilers for the other books—and carried on like you were in the know) and all the characters. Wow there are so many characters, so many names and different

Another Reaper story! I love this group of tough warriors and their boss, Death!

I loved Maeve! She was feisty yet wary, and her business savvy served her well in the Fae court. She was surprisingly open with Bradach, exposing more then she normally did, but I liked how it gave a chance to understand her reasoning. It also didn’t hurt that she could take care of herself in a battle, but was honest enough with herself to admit she also wanted someone to lean on at times.

I found Bradach amusing.

After the big showdown against Death's sworn and scorned enemy, Bran is finally here. What can happen now that this is all over? But wait…there's more. Even if Death has found her happily ever after, she still has members from two elite squads of reapers who need their happily ever after. To my delight, this one features Bradach, a moody and taciturn reaper who was once a light fae. His past creates the hatred of all things dark. When he's paired up with Maeve, a dark fae, to find a missing drag ...more
Wow ! What a great story filled with tons of intrigue and romance and intense chemistry.I am really enjoying this series so far. This is the kind of story that anything can happen and you never know what's going to happen next.

**SIGH** Another Reaper story bites the dust. I absolutely love the Reapers, especially Erith/Death, she makes the entire book. But along with her the Reapers are awesome, too.

I really liked Bradach and Maeve. Bradach hated her because she was a Dark Fae, but that didn’t stop him from wanting her, or she him. They joined forces to find Usaeil and her Trackers and drew closer and closer. It was a great love story.

There was explicit sex in this story and the F-bomb was used 3 times.

Another terrific Reaper book. I just hope Ms. Grant does not drag this series out (like she is doing in another series I read), because I will lose interest (like I'm doing with that other series).

Dark Alpha’s Redemption by Donna Grant
Reapers #8

In this ongoing paranormal saga created by Donna Grant Bradach, a Reaper in the second group of Reapers is set a task. He is to find Xaneth, a royal fae who disappeared in battle. He is to approach Maeve, a dark fae, to get information that might lead to Xaneth’s location. There is instant attraction between Bradach and Maeve that is not acted upon till later in the story. There is plenty of action and skulduggery with good and evil pitted against
I am already a fan of this series and really enjoy Ms Grant’s writing style. I received an eARC from the publishers in exchange for an honest review. I will post my thoughts closer to publication (6th August 2019)
I just can't not love these books, even when they keep me in complete and utter suspense for ages over a certain relationship, haha. Dark Alpha's Redemption, just like all the other books in the Reaper's series picks up right where the previous book leaves off. With that in mind it is really important that you read these books from the first one to the most current, otherwise you would be quite lost. I think it is also important to note right from the get go that it would not hurt at all to star ...more

Dark Alpha's Redemption is the beginning to the next generation of Reapers, and Donna Grant did not disappoint in delivering yet another fast-paced and action-packed romance that hooks fans of this series in from the very first chapter.

Notice how I wrote 'fans of this series'? That was deliberate.

Before I continue on with this review, I need to note that if you have yet to read the previous books of this series - or even any recent releases to the Dark Kings Series - then I wouldn't suggest you

*Full Disclosure! This is part of a series, but it able to be read as a stand-alone novel. I did not read any of the prior books in this series*

I had a hard time following along for about the first 25% of this book. There were many missing holes that I couldn't quite fill all the way. While I was able to assume what had happened prior to this book, it was still all very fuzzy to me. It took a bit of a learning curve to figure out about the King of the Dark, the Queen of the Light, who/what the R

Dark Alpha's Redemption is the 8th book in Donna Grant's Reaper series, which is also connected with her Dragon Kings series. Though reading the previous books is not a prerequisite for following the story, it will give you a little more clarity understanding past events. But in no way will your enjoyment be ruined if you haven't read them yet.

Bradach is a Reaper who is assigned by Death to locate a prisoner of the evil Queen of the Light Fae. He is to seek the help of Maeve the Merciless (I wan

I was without a doubt mesmerized by this story between Maeve the Merciless and Bradach the Reaper with its well described battle scenes and depth to the storyline.

Author Donna Grant continues creating one of a kind stories that never cease to amaze me and is one of the reasons that I continue to read everything she writes.

Maeve is a strong dynamic female warrior who can hold her own with any enemy but it was so heartbreaker watching her deal

Dark Alpha's Redemption picks up where the previous book in this series left off . . . the search for Xaneth. We learn about Bradach, one of the reapers in Eoghan's command who is tasked with locating Xaneth. He is to do this by contacting Maeve the Merciless, a Dark. Bradach hates the Dark and we find out why. However, in the effort to discover what happened to Xaneth, he works together with Maeve, falling in love in the process. (No surprise there!) This books is part of a series and includes characters from yet another series. If you have not read the other stories, it impacts your fun. I have read the other books and I really enjoyed Maeve and Bradach’s story.

The passion was quick to ignite, a but of insta-love but the book is not very long. Both characters were strong and committed. Maeve is strong and fiery. A dark fae and a reaper together, it was a bit of a sizzle. The book is not the final battle and didn’t move the overall series’ st

DARK ALPHA'S REDEMPTION by Donna Grant is book 8 in the Reaper Series. This is the story of Bradach and Maeve. I have read the previous books which helps with the underlining story that is being touched upon each move that moves us closer to the end results. But story line between these two I felt you could make it a standalone book if that is what you wish to do.
Bradach was to help some of the Dark Faes but he came in with the mind set that they were not trustworthy and with a mindset of preju

A big thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin s Press for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I like Ms. Grants work but I am not a fan of the Dark King or Fae series. I get confused and frustrated because they seem so connected. I truly feel u need to read them in order. To be honest, I skimmed the book. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will already know that Donna Grant is one of my favourite authors and yes I buy all her books as soon as I get the chance even if I already have the eARC.

As soon as my copy came in my Kindle I just had to put whatever I was currently reading down and read this book right away even though it wouldn't be published for quite some time.

First off I have to tell you that this is book 8 in the Reapers series and yes you do have to read all previous book

With the original Reapers having defeated Bran, it's time for the New Kids on the Block to take up the reins!

This new team of Reapers are continuing with Erith's orders and keeping tabs on a certain Ubitch and looking for Xaneth. But Ubitch is keeping off the radar and Bradach finds himself wrapped up in the mystery which is Maeve.

They are opposites that don't really want to attract but keep finding themselves doing just that. Lots of humour and a great way to bridge the gap between the two Reap

Dark Alpha’s Redemption is a solid addition to the reaper’s series.

Bradach, a light fae known for his attention to details, is given a task to journey to the Dark Fae castle to search out answers as to where Usaeil and Xanath are. This task isn’t an easy one due his hatred of the dark fae (not without reason as we find out later).

Maeve, a very successful business woman, is a dark fae and has no time for anything outside of keeping her business going. Many have tried to take it from her and she

Dark Alpha’s Redemption is another great addition to the Reaper series. The hero and heroine have great chemistry and the supporting cast (as usual) don’t disappoint. It’s a world full of mystery and complicated twists and turns so I’d highly recommend reading the series in order or the reader will be confused.
