Adoring You is such a pleasure to read, but then again Vic’s stories are all delights.

The characters and the plot are enthrallingly portrayed – the Diva-ish Michele and the aloof-ish Peter in Musical Gala. Even the supporting ones are all fascinating; Andrea Botticelli in her ‘gaudy and ostentatious’ way and of course Jorge, the charismatic bestfriend.

The characters’ chemistry, the concept, and the plot development definitely make Adoring You a gratifying read.

I am voluntary reviewing an ARC of this book.

I wasn’t sure about this book at first it felt like I was thrown straight in to the book without being introduced to the characters but in the end that actually didn’t matter.

Michele is the opera and broadway darling that’s in demand except for the one performance she really wanted which was at the gala she’s attending with her attention seeking friend Jorge when her attention is caught by the mysterious stranger across the room. She tries to hide h

Vic Tyler is a new author to me. I really liked the story of Peter and Michele. This book has such a great storyline and very good character development and it really made this book a sweet, hot and enjoyable read. There is a definite chemistry right from the start between Peter and Michele. Even though he was awkward at first, he worked up the nerve to be with her even putting his life on hold to be with her. They make such a cute couple and you do get a very happy ending with some hot sex. You ...more

I received an ARC for an unbiased review.

This is a short and sweet read. This novella was a pleasant read and you could tell from the start that both the heroine and hero in the book were well suited to each other. The romance between the two main characters was extremely sweet so if you like a lot of back and forth and angst between your main characters this may not be the book for you. I liked how this book portrayed a simple love story with real life issues such as your job or distance gettin

What is expected from a romance novel in general? For most readers romance is a genre that is reserved for days when they want to escape the disillusionment of reality without losing a grip on it. The characters are usually so perfect that even their flaws are part of their quintessential charm. In Adoring You, Vic Taylor gives us exactly that. Perfect characters, a perfect romance with a right dosage of eroticism yet not so close to reality that the reader can relate to the story. The character ...more

3.75 - This is my first time reading this author! This is a sweet, happy, and short love story! It took me a few pages to get into this novella, but once I did it was very enjoyable! I need emotions and the first pages are setting the scene which I will admit I wasn’t familiar with! The feelings, mystery, and then the story that Peter tells at the end left me giggling in delight! There’s no drama. It’s just a happy, realistic read. It was wonderful!

This book was a sweet, light-hearted and romantic read right until the last chapter where it got overtly steamy. As a reader I didn't feel that was necessary at all because the romantic vein to the storyline was doing it justice. Even so I opted to give it 4 stars because it was a story I enjoyed.

4 Star Review of Adoring You ( Troubling Affections #0) by Vic Tyler

Vic Tyler is a new author to me. Adoring You is a sweet, steamy, quick romance. Although it is
a prequel to Redeeming You in it can as a standalone.

The writing was strong and I liked the characters of Peter and Michelle. Also the secondary characters were just as interesting.

When Peter hears Michelle singing, he is instantly attracted. Fast forward 12 months and they meet again.

The chemistry between Peter and Michelle was inte

The storyline was well written and the characters were written with such great detail that I was totally engaged until the turn of the very last page! I look forward to reading more from this author!

I thought this book was amazing! I loved the chemistry between Michele and Peter. I loved how they had history that Michele never realized until the end. I can't wait to continue reading the series and learning about the other characters that Vic Tyler has created. I thought this book was a fast read and I really got into it from the start. There was really no slow parts and I liked that Vic Tyler delved into both Michele and Peter’s history and that they had met before without even knowing it. ...more

So, I don’t normally don’t pick up novellas or short books cause I personally prefer something longer to read. But, I must admit… they’re quite interesting and absolutely enjoyable in their own ways… at least the ones that are beautifully written. Adoring You by Vic Tyler was definitely that and more. It was just as sexy and hot as it was sweet, swoony, and heartwarming. I had fun reading it and fell in love with both the MCs.

I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this story. It was seduct

This is a new to me author which will not remain that way. I will be sure to check out new releases from her again. I loved the musical aspect of the story which invites us into the event of the year, the Spring Gala at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, for classical music followers, patrons and of course, their stars, this is the place to be and be seen!

Michele Devereaux is a rising young singer, beautiful, with a most amazing voice who has caught the attention and admiration of many.
Michelle and Peter are both up and coming in the operatic music world, but have yet to meet. Michelle is blown away by Peter's talent at arranging and conducting, not to mention his attractiveness. She convinces their mutual friend Jorge to introduce them where they spend the rest of the evening conversing with each other. At the end of the night Michelle is disappointed to learn Peter will be leaving New York for a work trip soon, and keeps her guard up. After a fitful night of sleep Peter show ...more

A new author-to-me, Vic Tyler clearly knows how to write! Adoring You is a fast-paced romance between two musical greats who made me smile. Michele comes off as a diva but through Peter's eyes, he sees the real woman, the one who sings in courtyards when she thinks no one is watching and shows kindness to even the youngest of strangers.

I didn't know what to make of this burgeoning singing superstar but between her bestie in Jorge (the man needs his own book, he is so deliciously witty and charmi

This is the first book that I've read by Vic Tyler and it's a prequel to her book "Redeeming You".
I always find it interesting to read books set in the specialised world of professionals like musicians, artists or even scientists. The little tid-bits about their work make books very engaging and this book does the same. The opening scene creates a very vivid picture of the characters' evening. The way the author describes music and emotions makes you feel like you're standing right there experie

4.5 stars - Living your life on a musical note!

Vic Tyler is a new to me author but I believe this is her second debut story. I really liked this story of Peter and Michele, it was spectacular in its delivery and the culmination of events which lead to these two characters meeting and falling in love. Michele initially can’t understand when they are at the event where they meet that he’s not paying her any attention, whereas when we get a glimpse into Peter’s mindset, it’s for another reason alto

Received this book as an ARC hoping for an honest review. First book I’ve read from this author. I did enjoy the detail the story told, but I felt it was a little slow. I’ve not read any books with this storyline, so this was a treat. Michelle, an up and coming diva with lots of talent, and Peter, a young and already known conductor, meet at a Gala he is performing at. The characters take their time getting to know each other and fall in love. Both are attracted to the othe

This book is a prequel to the book Redeeming You. This book is part of the Troublesome Affections series. This is a new author for me and wow, what a find! This story is all about Michele and Peter, this is the story of them beginning their amazing musical careers and also the beginning of their relationship. As the story unfolds you are enlightened by how much Peter knows about Michele and his interest in her. Just when think it all ends after the gala as Michele gets in the taxi and drives awa ...more

Slow Bulid to a Fast Ending

Vic taylor did a nice job with her Adoring You novella. We meet Michele and Peter, learning how they met, fell in love and created a future for themselves in 104 pages.

The first half of the book started to weigh me down with details, this review was going another way until that point. When Peter chimed it, I adored (pun intended) the way the rest of the book went. It's nice to read about a charming, sophistactaed man with manners, smitten with a women he sees from afa

Thank you to Vic Tyler & Booksprout for asking me to read an ARC for my honest review of Adoring you.

This was my first book by this Author, I was intrigued and wanting to give my support to a new upcoming Author although I had no prior knowledge about the story content.

This was a love story about Peter and Michele and how they fell for each other through their work together in the Opera and Orchestra.
It was a sweet story with elements of sexiness.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the story of Michele, an up and coming opera singer, and Peter an established conductor. It is told from each of their perspectives.

The book is written at a good pace, and while some encounters were more summed up than explored, which I feel is the nature of a novella, it didn’t feel rushed.

When you first meet Michele she seems a little high brow and full of herself. As you get to know her, you find her instead to be outg

Beautiful story.

This is a super sweet, beautiful story, with characters who truly adore each other. Michele is intrigued by the guest conductor at the performance she was attending. She has a mutual friend that gets him to their table for dinner and has a wonderful evening chatting with Peter. When he just lets her leave at the end of the evening she assumes he is isn't as interested in her as she was with him. I am very pleasantly surprised by this book, I was not sure what exactly to expect, because this is my first book by this author, but I really enjoyed all aspects of it. The characters were unique and it was easy to root for them. My very first impression of Michele... I was not 100% sold but she very quickly grew on me and I think she is perfect for Peter. Peter though...I loved him right away.

I was entertained that this is different than most romances I have read. Two dedicated professionals, jet setting around the world for their work and yet they make it happen to accommodate each other's schedule. There is an enduring commitment to love one another no matter the distance or time between them. As time progressed so did their relationship. I loved reading this story and highly recomme

When Peter see's Michele for the first time he knows there is something about her. It's her voice he hears first, following the sound to see the beautiful woman singing. He's smitten from that moment.

A year later and he has his chance. He's worked for this and planned this meeting. Michele has never left his thoughts or his heart.

When Michele spots Peter at the gala she can't take her eyes off him. She met him once before though fleetingly it left an impression.

A slow build romance, it was sweet
