لا أدري هل الطبيعي ألا ترفق نص المأدبة بدراستها أو لا بيد أني شعرت أن الكتاب مخادع ففي حين أن اسم الكتاب المأدبة يفاجىء القارىء بأنه لا توجد مأدبة بل مجرد حوار أخير مقتطع من سياقه، وفي حين تصرح الكاتبة أن هذه دراسة جادة للمأدبة التي ترى أنها لم تأخذ حقها من الدرس في الوطن العربي تقدم هي دراسة أقل من متواضعة لا تثري النص بقدر ما تشعر قارئها بالملل من رتابة الأسلوب وتكرارنفس الجمل في مواضع مختلفة بما لا يفيد القارىء وتمنيت لو وضعت نص المأدبة مع مقدمة مختصرة وتركت الباقي للقارىء فأراحته واستراحت.

A very short nice analysis for plato's symposium .I think that it could be a very excellent introduction to encourage the reader to read the symposium itself after getting to learn a little bit about the structure of the platonic philosophy as a whole.Honestly, i like very much reading those books who analyze the classics of literature and philosophy before delving into the original works .i look forward to reading a book like that for plato's republic as well.
