Danger, Flight, Freedom?
This is a fast-paced adventure short story. An introduction to a series. With three women elf running for freedom: Vala and her wife and daughter. I would have loved to read more about those three, but the author warns at the end of the story that although there are more stories set in the same world, none of them are about this little family. Nonetheless, this short story sucks you right into this world and makes you longing for more!

The story itself is an interesting tease. The characters are elves running away from human slavers. I wasn't sure why only some of them had magic or who the Oracles wer
