With advice from her chiropractor-addicted best friend, Val… Summer ignores her growing affection for the town brimming with Christmas crackpots—and her undeniable attraction to the handsome, kindhearted Lumberjerk… who sends naughty tingles in all the wrong places.

I write about smart women with a little snark, their relationships with the men they love and the friends they keep. I like books that are fun, a little smutty, a little sarcastic, a little sweet, romantic, and will make you swoon... so I wrote two and I'm writing a third.

Romantic, eccentric, witty and fresh

I loved this, just such a lovely escape with wit, snark, heat and romance. I got all the feels from the romance but it made me smile as well. The Christmas themed town and its eccentric inhabitants were an original twist.

The humour and sparkling, feel good vibe reminds me of a Sara Ney or a Jana Aston book so if you like this you'll love this.

Oh and he was a dirty talker. That's me happy.

Complete story available on ku. Highly recommended.

Summer, is a new yorker, who is trying, after an unlucky attempt at a writer career, to have a better chance as a real estate developer. With the promise to get a promotion and her own angle office she goes to the small town of Arid Falls to get the signature of a front lake house owner. Easy right? Not so easy if the house owner is a stubborn man who has already rejected the company's previous attempts to get his property.
Nick, is the owner of the bait and tackle shop next to his front lake house in Arid Falls. He loves his small town and all its inhabitants so much he won't sell his house to a company intent on change it turning it into an heartless place.
They are attracted to each other at first sight, but they also get on each other nerves because they come from different worlds and they have different intentions. Even if Summer is the "enemy" and Nick is what keeps her promotion only a dream, it seems they can't stay away from each other.
Will they find a common ground and act on their attraction or will they refrain themselves?

"Summer, fate determines who you meet. You determine what you do with that information."

I enjoyed to follow Summer and Nick's journey, they are pole opposites with an extraordinary connection and plenty of chemistry who caught my attention from begin to end.
I really had a great time spending my day with these characters in Arid Falls.

I didn't know A.C. Netzel before I started to read Snowman but I'll be checking other books written by this author because her sweet, and at times very hot, words put a smile on my face and made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

This is definitely Hallmark material, if you are looking for a nice, funny winter story set in a festive small town you have to pick up this book.

Get ready to get your sleigh bells jingled as we glide into the holidays with Summer and the Snowman.
This is a wonderfully funny, sexy romance filled with cheesy corny Christmas jokes, innuendoes, a quirky town filled with unique neighbors with great names and I loved it.
Summer Sloan is a Manhattan real estate developer that has just been handed her big break. She lands in a sleepy little town and finds so much more than she could have ever dreamed of.
It is filled with twinkle, beauty, goodness, comradery and it begins to give her the warm and fuzzy feeling of a home. Now Nick Snow he is giving her all other kids of feelings. He is rugged, manly, stoic and so stubborn but he is also giving her all the tingles even though she won't admit it.
Nick Snow is a small town business owner, single dad to his niece and not at all interested in whet the big city gal has to offer or her grandiose ideas for his little gem of a town. He may find the lovely Summer intriguing, quirky, sexy and funny but she her for one reason and no matter how much he wants her he decides it is not going to happen!
I fell in love with the town, it's funny, quirky residents and their unique way of life!

If you are looking for a fun, witty, sexy story that takes place in a small quirky town, during Christmas season, then look no more. Snowman is the book for you. I loved everything about this book. It had that Hallmark Christmas movie feel to it but much sexier. And I love Hallmark movies!!

Summer Sloane is hoping for the promotion that she deserves, the one that come with the corner office with the beautiful view. When her boss assigns her to travel to the small town of Arid Falls to try to convince three residents to sell their homes, she knows the this segment means everything to her. It is a complete game changer and a challenge that she intends to win. Until she gets there sand not only meets the quirky residents, but the man that is considered the ring leader and who will be the hardest to convince. But that is not the only issue, Nick Snow is hot!! And can be a bit of a jerk when she first meets him. But convincing him to sell his house is going to be a bigger challenge than she thought. Living in a big city like New York, this small little town is a complete culture shock for her. They are just too cheesy and weird for her liking. But as time goes on why does she feel closer to this people? And why not she not shake her attraction to Nick. Getting involved sexually with the man she needs to convince to sell his home, is high on the list of "things not to do while in Arid Falls". But when she is near him, she has a hard time controlling how her body reacts to him.

Nick Snow is the perfect guy. He is loved by all in the town and he takes care of his niece, who lost her parents two years ago. His reasons for wanting to stay, that have so much to do with his niece will melt your heart. He feels something between him and Summer as well, but he doesn't know the real reason that she is in town. When he finds out it may just change his opinion or her. Or will it?

Snowman is a warm, fuzzy, sexy read that I loved. The cheesy and quirky town was so much fun. You could feel the chemistry between Summer and Nick and the fun, flirty banter between the two of them was just perfect. The addition of Nick's niece Noelle made this even better. She was a sassy little girl which I loved, but the way Summer was with her made you think that maybe this little town ad Nick was everything that she needed.

I have always loved AC Netzel's writing and this book was wonderful surprise. In the sense that her releasing a new book was the surprise. It made me smile and laugh and just a feel good book!!! I hope we get to see more of these characters, like Val and Jeb???

This book was a fun holiday romance with some endearing, funny, steamy and even classic Hallmark cheesy moments.

Big city girl, Summer Sloane is looking for her big promotion when she travels to the small and overtly Christmas-drenched town of Arid Falls where she meets "lumberjerk", Nick Snow.

She soon finds herself in one comical situation after another while falling for the hottie in flannel and making friends with the townspeople.

If you're looking for the book that will give you all the Christmas feels you love this season, this is it.

This was such a wonderfully quirky slow-burn romance! You will fall in love with the town of Arid Falls. Even more, you will love Nick Snow. Everyone in Arid Falls is loveable and unique. And the names! Ever... Green who works with her parents' florist shop. Some of them I'm still laughing about. Most are Christmas-themed. In fact, the whole town is like a Hallmark movie. Snowman might be slow to get to the steamy parts, but when it does it delivers. Will Summer decide she belongs in Arid Falls or return to New York permanently? You owe it to yourself to read this fabulous Christmas book! 4.5 stars

Snowman by AC Netzel is a wonderful, quirky Christmas read that fans of romantic comedies and contemporary romance will enjoy this holiday season.

Summer Sloane is a New Yorker intent on climbing up the ranks in her real estate career when she is sent to a small-town to convince some property owners to sell their homes in order for luxurious condos to be built.
Summer finds herself in a quirky and quaint Christmas-themed town where the holiday season is celebrated all year- long. It is here that Summer meets Nick Snow, or Volunteer Town Lumberjerk the name Summer quickly labels him as! Who just happens to be one of the property owners that Summer needs to negotiate with ...

AC Netzel has written a story that made me laugh out loud many times, that has feisty banter between the two main characters and a setting that will warm the heart of all Christmas lovers. The Christmas themed names I thought may be too much, but it actually works and goes along with the story perfectly. The town’s quirky folk add to the originality of this town and create the perfect accompaniment to the romance that brews between Summer and Nick. There is steamy scenes, so definitely not a PG read!

Recommended for lovers of Christmas, small-town romances, steamy romance snd those who enjoy a little quirkiness in their characters.

Thankyou to the author for the early copy of this book I received. This is an honest review and all opinions are my own.

A.C. Netzel's "Snowman" was so much fun to read, and I finished it with a huge smile on my face. The chemistry between main characters Nick and Summer was fantastic from the outset, and I loved their flirty, teasing banter. They were opposites in many ways, but somehow still perfect for each other. Their slow burn, enemies-to-lovers romance was well crafted, and it was easy for me to root for them to overcome the obstacles standing in the way of their HEA.

The quirky town of Arid Falls was delightfully warm and welcoming and seemed to create its own sort of magic. I loved Summer's observations of the town as an outsider from New York City, which frequently made me laugh. Several of the book's secondary characters made me laugh too, but my favorites were Nick's adorable niece Noelle, a tiny spitfire who knew exactly how to keep him on his toes, and Summer's chiropractor-obsessed best friend Valerie.

Overall, I adored "Snowman" and highly recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. I look forward to seeing what A.C. Netzel writes next.

Sarcastic wit, outrageously cheesy Christmas jokes and great characters... I loved this story!!!
Full of Christmas cheer with the most brilliant best friend who had me laughing out loud.... this book is so worth your time.
Summer is a true New Yorker sent to a small village to somehow convince them that condos built by her developer employer are the future for their small town....despite the fact that a couple of residents are flatly refusing to cooperate....but she just wasn’t prepared for the Christmas cheese-fest that is Arid Falls.... her lack of tolerance for all things joy and tinsel was so hilarious along with her unspoken comments.... priceless!
Whilst staying in this crazy, quirky village she experiences a real and somewhat unexpected connection with Nick Snow.....unfortunately he is the one guy she needs to win over....!
This author’s writing is easy and flows just right, with plenty of great dialogue and humour and that swoony snow-in was just perfect.
I loved this and mission accomplished as I finished with a huge grin on my face... thank you Ms Netzel for putting it there...!

5 Star review of Snowman by A.C. Netzel

A.C. Netzel is a new author to me and have no idea how I have not come across this author before. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was quickly invested in Summer Sloane and Nick Snow’s story. This is one of my favourite holiday reads so far this year. It ticked all the boxes for me and I was riveted from the first to the last chapter.
What's not to love? It's the most magical time of the year and also happens to be my most favourite holiday. This was a fun, quirky story and left me with a smile on my face.
Snowman was full of so many feel good moments that my face ached from smiling so much. The story was heart-warming and the banter between them witty. I love stories that are set in small towns, the writing was descriptive and I could easily see myself in Arid Falls. The characters were easy to relate to and the secondary characters entertaining.
Will Summer get the signatures she needs on the dotted line and make her company happy or will she find what she didn’t even know she was looking for with Nick and the people of Arid Falls? One click and find out.

The perfect holiday story that was fun and sexy. This story played out like the homey, cheesy holiday Hallmark movie that we all secretly love! Que the small quirky town where it is Christmas all year long. The residents all have holiday names that will incite chuckles. This is a feel good story of finding one's soulmate. Summer Sloane is working for a real estate developer that has their eyes on Arid Falls and Nick Snow is one of the holdouts. The attraction is electric, the distrust a form of foreplay, and molten when they get together. This is a couple that you can't help but cheer for, because everyone deserves a love like they find.

“Find a Snowman who melts your heart.”
Snowman is a beautiful Christmas romance story that will warm your heart and ignite your Christmas spirit. With its perfect blend of quirkiness, humour, banter, chemistry, angst, swoon worthy moments, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit, this story had me curled up with a blanket, hot chocolate in hand, as I devoured every word in one sitting.
While reading I laughed hysterically, I held my breath, I smiled, and I and felt the sudden urge to have some apple cider and belt out a few Christmas Carols.
Nick and Summer’s story was a heartwarming holiday rom-com that I highly recommended.

Summer Sloane is a young, upwardly mobile professional steadily climbing the corporate ladder. With her eye on a big promotion that could net her a gorgeous office with a Manhattan skyline view and an apartment with reliable heat, she heads to the little town of Arid Falls to convince a few lakefront home owners to sell their properties so her company can develop the property with upscale condos and shopping areas.

Arid Falls is this crazy, quirky little place that's totally obsessed with all things Christmas. Complete with innkeepers named Holly and Kris Snow, and other townsfolk with names like Winter Green, Carol and Carroll Eng, Forrest and Ever Green, and a young couple named Joseph and Mary, who are, of course, expecting a baby and are having trouble finding a place to stay while they are traveling! (No room at the inn!!)

Summer finds herself feeling more and more guilty about trying to get the townspeople to sell their land, especially as she spends more time with landowner Nick Snow and his niece, Noelle.
When the attraction between Nick and Summer finally overwhelms them both, she realizes that maybe helping the little town preserve it's magic is more important than developing trendy new condos.

Snowman is a quirky, cute, fun read for the holiday season. I have to say, I had a little trouble with how ridiculous the townsfolk actually were, with their Christmas themed names and occupations like full time snow globe -repairman (like a cobbler for snow-globes)… I found myself rolling my eyes a - it veered a teeny bit too far into corny territory. But all in all Snowman is a fun little read, and once I got to the schmexy parts, it turns out sweet Nick Snow has a very filthy mouth, which I found pretty enjoyable. If you're looking for a cutesy distraction this holiday season, look no further than Snowman.

When Summer Sloane is sent to the tiny town of Arid Falls to convince three holdouts to sell their properties, she never thought she’d encounter such a Christmas loving town. Everywhere she looked there was Christmas. From the year-round caroling lessons, to the gentleman named Yul Tyde, the town was chock full of Christmas cheer. But what Summer didn’t expect was Nick Snow. Nephew of the owner of the bed and breakfast she was staying at, and leader of the three holdouts. Tall, handsome, and caring, he’s everything any woman would want. Every woman including Summer, but she doesn’t have time for Nick. She needs to get the signatures and head back to New York City, she doesn’t have time for Nick and this little Christmas obsessed town.
Or so she thinks. As her time in Arid Falls continues, she’s pulled to the inhabitants. From Holly Snow, owner of the Inn she’s staying at to Noelle, Nick’s niece, to Faith and Hope, sisters who live near Nick and were the other hold outs. But most of all to the Snowman, Nick Snow himself. But will he feel the same when he discovers that the real reason she’s in town was to get them to sell to the company she works for?
This is a cute Christmas rom-com. Full of Christmas cheer, romance, and hot sex. The author must have had a fun time coming up with everyone’s names, including the businesses. Christmas puns galore! The writing is good, the story well written and interesting characters. A good book for those looking for some Christmas romances this year.

I'm so confused.
Is this town deliberately kitschy with its exuberant Christmas vibe and people named Yul Tide, Ever Green, Joy Yuss and a pregnant Mary and her husband Joseph travelling to Bethlehem Pennsylvania who might not find a room at the inn?
Or is this one of those fictional Christmas towns on steroids? From show ended sitcom actors (or the character they played? Christmassey names?) to the fake fiance trope, it feels like every Hallmark and Lifetime holiday movie threw up on the pages of this book.
But...
I couldn't stop reading. Nick is delicious. And I'll take one of him please. The oppositional chemistry between Nick and Summer (a convenient character name for an infiltrator to this abundant Christmas winter paradise) sizzles wonderfully.
I really want to read more about Summer's 'chirosexual' friend Val.
Not as "dirty" as I expected, but everyone's definition of dirty is different.

First off I'm so jealous Summer gets to go to Arid Falls. That Christmas crazy town is right up my alley and I would so move there in a heartbeat. There is magic surrounding that town. I really got into the book. It has plenty of heart and heat. Nick and Summer have chemistry, but Summer's reason for being Arid Falls is not going to make Nick happy. Fate has funny of working out and I can't tell you how happy I was with the journey Summer takes and what is in store for the town. One thing that I wished we had was Nick's point of view. It's a personal reader preference, but there were a few times I wished I could get inside his head. Over all this was a delightful read that's going to hook you right from the beginning. With it's humor, heart, and heat you have a winning combination.

Snowman was a cute and festively fun holiday romance with Summer leaving her office on New York hoping to get a big promotion if she can secure some land from the Towns people.

When Summer arrives in Arid Falls and needs the help of Nick even if she doesn't want to admit he's hot and annoying and she knows after meeting the family that seems like the whole town she knows she isn't going to secure any property, she can't help but fall in love with this little town she would never admit this too Nick.

Prepare to have your heart melted by this book it's a really fun read that's very humble and is so much fun to read.

If you are a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, Snowman is for you! Okay, so it is way more sexy than a Hallmark Christmas movie, but Snowman follows the same script: City girl goes to a podunk town to convince the small business owner holding out on the real estate developer to give in. Along the way, she falls in love with the quaint town, the quirky people and the prickly guy and has a change of heart about the business deal she was sent to close. What more can you want?

Summer and Nick were all sorts of cute, with witty banter and a great arc to their romance. This is the first book I've read by AC Netzel, and I was captivated from the first chapter to the last. A perfect Christmas romance!
