Obviously not great as an actual detailed biography of Montgomery, but it offers a nice streamlined look at how one might dream of being an author and eventually accomplish that dream, even after facing some rejection.

My mom was a HUGE Anne if green gables fan growing up. We even visited LM Montgomery’s house. She tried to get me to read Anne but I was never interested. Reading this book realizing how similar I am to LM I might just read Anne

A leveled reader picture book of L.M. Montgomery that focuses on her imagination and love for writing and reading.

This is quick, simple, focused entirely on author Maud, and lacks all the sad parts of Maud's full story. A nice intro to L.M. Montgomery for littles.

“Easy Reader” nonfiction books tend to be light on the facts in favor of keeping things simple—like L. M. Montgomery wasn’t described with the word “happy” in anything else I have read about her m, but I did learn a couple of new things from this book… maybe…
