When I tell you that I would sell my soul for an English print edition of this masterpiece, it is an understatement. If you disagree, you either have not read this series or can read Korean and don’t need the translation. End of discussion.

✨ summary ✨

Nothing about Amy Song is special: she’s not the smartest, she’s not the prettiest, she’s not even the most passionate. She can’t even work up the courage to stand up for herself, let alone help others. But that all changes one cold winter afternoon when she is swept away into the dreamy world of Spirit Fingers, a croquis club whose members show her that life isn’t about being “the best”: it’s about finding, nurturing, and falling in love with your true self.

✨ review ✨

I am literally BEGGING you to read this flawless series. BEGGING. ON MY KNEES.

I don’t even know where to begin. The art is gorgeous in every single panel. The characters are often silly and sometimes downright bonkers, but the things they go through? The growth they experience as they navigate the everyday interpersonal struggles that frustrate us all? It is so real it HURTS, guys. You will be laughing and you will be crying and you will FALL IN LOVE with this amazing cast of characters.

I wish I could make every single one of my students read this. If you have kids, please consider sharing this with them. Honestly, I wish I could make every single person I KNOW read this.

The way the Amy learns to develop boundaries while maintaining kindness and respect is jaw-dropping. The level of trust, love, and mutual respect that emerges in the relationships depicted is inspiring. The message that you don’t have to be “perfect” to be the most wonderful and amazing and perfect version of YOU is one that we all need to hear, even as adults.

I read this for the first time in 2022 and cannot believe it’s taken me so long to come back to it. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and give Spirit Fingers a chance 🩵❤️💙💚💛🖤🩷🤎

(sadly only available on apps like WebToons if you need an English translation).

✨ favorite quote ✨

Sometimes, I think about how different things would have been if I hadn’t met Spirit Fingers that day. If my friends came a bit earlier, or if I had refused to be their model. Then I wouldn’t be here today, right? I wouldn’t have found my dream, either.

Before I met Spirit Fingers, I only used to fantasize and wish for things to be different. I used it as a way to escape because I was afraid of facing reality. My mind was full of negative thoughts then, but now I know.

I’m capable of doing anything. If I change the way I think, my world will change too. I’m still timid, and I’m still afraid of the future, but I know that I won’t give up. Because…because I’m the one and only Babl Finger.

This isn't completed yet (At least where I read it in English on Webtoon) but I will come and change my rating if I need to when it ends. Don't want it sitting in my currently reading forever.

I, quite simply, love this comic. It might be my favorite on all of Webtoon, which is saying a lit, because the competition is fierce. It starts out seeming like it's going to be a traditional, shojo kinda romance story (which I like, so that would have been fine), but it quickly starts to shift into something more. This comic is funny and touching. I love the members of Spirit Fingers. Sometimes in these kinds of stories, when they spend a week going into the backstory of a non-main character, you get annoyed, feeling like the author is wasting your time. I never feel here. I get excited every time I see that there is a new chapter up and I have never finished feeling disappointed.

Also, I love the unique art style. This is one of those comics that you pause while you are reading, just to stare at a panel.

Recommended for everyone.

5 STARS TO INFINITY AND BEYOND. This book and series is just beautiful and brilliant from start to finish. In my opinion, it's a masterpiece, really. It's mainly the journey and process of finding one's true colour, or purpose, yet it's so much more too. The essential characters were cleverly portrayed and crafted. It was hilarious yet have a realistic depth in issues that many could relate to, individually, yet especially in the Asian culture too. I love it so much. I have so much more to say about it but I also know I'd struggle with finding the right words, so I'll just keep this wholesome-ness, buoyant feeling within me; some identifiable and others intangible as I relished what I've read and absorbed from it.

100/10 HELL YES recommended. It's worth it.

My first impressions of this book was how unique the art style was and still impressing me until the end. I was hooked from the first chapter because I relate to the main character. I love seeing her get her character development, step by step with her loved ones. I used to imagined (I was thirteen when I first read this and now I'm eighteen) that if I stood a little bit longer in a crowd maybe I'll find my own people too, a person who would ask me to stand and they would sketch me some of their golden arts then that person's best friend would gave me their number and my best friend would overly excitedly send him a message and then my year would began. Yet I am waaaaay past wooyeon's age and still haven't find those people.

I will hand it to Webtoon--they got me with this bad boy. I paid for the whole thing and I have ZERO regrets after binging the whole thing during the Crimbo Limbo. Do you want cuteness? Do you want fabulous art? Do you want wholesomeness and learning to love and accept yourself for who you are? SAY NO MORE! Read Spirit Fingers and have a little happy dance like I did.

(Writing this review as a review of the entire manhwua)

This is one of the most wholesome, motivating and captivating manhwuas I've ever read (I've read it more than once and it improves each time).

The artwork is unusual and the storyline blends finding first romance and finding oneself at the same time. Everytime I read this, I get a warm feeling as the themes presented are so relatable to life in general, not just to the protagonists.

The relationships between all members of the Spirit Fingers Club are so cute, and they support each other in times of distress. Each member has their story to share about how the club improved their lives and served to pull them out of their shells.

Definitely recommend this is a light read for when you're feeling down and need some uncomplicated comedy to make you laugh.

it's just SO GOOD omfg PLEASE check it out sorry i'm just overcome with emotions after reading the end and the spin-offs the friendships, the romance, the character development, the exploration of family dynamics and how parents really can influence a big part of our lives and a big part of siblings' interactions, the finding out what you want to do and growing your own self esteem

this is what coming of age is

I'm a teenage girl and I can't explain how much i love this manhwa.

You get to see a awkward silly insecure teenage girl start a journey with self confidence and acceptance (or as the author says “find her true colors” )after joining an art group of people with different personalities, stories, ages, passions to do sketches that takes only 3 minutes.
What i like about it that you see this girl grow little by little and have this heart warming love story.

Its just so relatable and presents the real struggles and challenges that a lot of teenage girls go through.

And i LOVE the art style and the writing of every single character.

I wish i can read it again for the first time ;) !!

I really love this kind of stories. How she learn to be more confident but without having a drastic glow up with her physical appearance and how she learn about their dreams and stood up for herself and when she learn to make friends and when she learn not to be ashamed of what she likes and the relationship with her little brother and her girlfriends and she learn to accept that she is worthy of love AND ALSO EVERYTHING. Go read this webtoon now.

This was such a cute story! I really like the progression it took, especially since it focused on each character! My favorite romance was Babl and Red but a close second was Mint and Blue. I really liked Babl's storyline with her brothers, and I'm really happy how her mom became more supportive at the end. I really hope someone ends up making a kdrama of it, I think it would do really well. I'm going to miss this a lot!
