Jordi Galceran Ferrer is a Spanish-Catalan playwright, screenwriter and translator, known internationally for his play "El mètode Grönholm" ("The Grönholm Method", 2003). He writes both in Catalan and Spanish.
Galceran studied Catalan Philology at the University of Barcelona and started to write theatrical plays in 1988. In 1995, with "Paraules encadenades" (Chains of words) he won the 20th Born Theatre Award, and in 1996, the Critic's Award Serra d'Or for best work in the Catalan language. His play "Dakota" (1995) received the Ignasi Iglesias award. Among the other Galceran plays: "Gaudí" (2002), "Carnaval" (2005), "Cancún" (2007).
"Killing Words", a 2003 film directed by Laura Mañá, is based on "Paraules encadenades". "Fragile", a film by Jaume Balagueró, is based on a script co-authored by Galceran, while "The Method", directed by Marcelo Piñeyro, is an adaptation of "The Grönholm Method".
D'aquelles obres de teatre que no saps perquè però t'enganxen. vaig anar a veure l'obra al Teatre villarroel i més tard vaig adquirir el guió i moltes nits em quedo llegint fragments. M'agradaria molt poder representar-la un dia.
No sé que Mi*rda acabo de leer pero se que me ha gustado, a pesar de que desde el principio me confundí bastante con todos los hechos que pasaba, que si si era, que si no, al final termine loca pero me encantó, reí por su humor negro suavizado y me traume con la palabrería que empleaban aquí, pero la verdad engancha desde el principio, no lo recomiendo para todo público pero no estaba tan mal🙂↕️😵💫
