Rate this book
Featuring an Introduction by conservative columnist and Fox News contributor Kristin Tate.

"The Mueller Report: Volume II" features the redacted version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s counterintelligence investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. The scope of the investigation included allegations that there were links or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump, as well as matters that arose directly from the investigation.

During the course of the two-year investigation, the Special Counsel and his staff employed 19 lawyers who were assisted by a team of approximately 40 FBI agents, intelligence analysts, forensic accountants, and other professional staff. The Special Counsel issued more than 2,800 subpoenas, executed nearly 500 search warrants, obtained more than 230 orders for communication records, issued almost 50 orders authorizing use of pen registers, made 13 requests to foreign governments for evidence, and interviewed approximately 500 witnesses. Volume II of the resulting report has been carefully preserved in this publication.

I decided to start with Volume II since it represents vital and ongoing work necessary by Congress and prosecutors. I expected it to be dry and packed with obscure legal references, but those are in the footnotes - the report itself is so well written, so well organized, and the information so effectively presented that it reads like a novel.

Every American should read the report...I've read many summaries and interpretations, but they honestly pale - go to the source.

Guilty. Unfortunate though that financial records were not part of this investigation, as came out later during Mueller's testimony. Financials should have been a given as part of any investigation concerning foreign influence and potential conspiracy. As for obstruction of justice ... book 2 was pretty clear.

This is the heart of Mueller Report is found in Volume II. Sadly, many Americans listened to the summary of the real report, weeks before it came out, and that was satisfying to most who heard it. Not only was it far from the truth; it was the opposite of the truth. Until Volume II is read, some will never know how corrupt and dangerous the leader of our country is.

Until an unredacted or a lesser redacted version is released, every American needs to read the Mueller report. This volume clearly lays out evidence of at least ten felonies -- why are we OK with that?

U.S. Department of Justice provides a free 2019 document download of the redacted Mueller reports on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election (Report1) and obstruction of justice investigation (Report 2). The two report are very historic and provide a valuable context for understanding events that will unfold during 2019 and 2020. The appendices are also very helpful to my understanding of Mueller’s investigative process and final conclusions. (D/L)
