Sweet
This was a sweet romance. Brothers best friend trope. I love that kind! This was a nice blossoming romance between Gabe and Layla. It had laid dormant for a few years. When they see each other in New Orleans it quickly picks up and they find their HEA.

A Sweet and Steamy read..
Kali and Laurie have written a great book series before with their 3013 sci fi series but here I think is their first collaboration together and I really quite enjoyed this book it had a good storyline with the forbidden brothers best friend, little sister romance.
Layla and Gabriel have known each other for years but have secretly loved each other so after Gabriel saves Layla after a night out drinking, things change between them after a surprise kiss.
If you like to laugh with the characters as well as feel their joy and embarrassment as well the steamy scenes that keep the story flowing then is a good book to read and I will be looking forward to reading the next book in this series..

Well, what sister hasn't had a crush on their brother's best friend? *grins* yeah somewhere along the line there was that dreamy look in your eye for him. Tell the truth shame the devil. *winks*
Roma and Argent give us a bit of the tsk tsk not the brothers' bestie when Layla steps out one night and gets in a bit over her head. Gabe, of course, her knight in shining armor with a bit of rough around the edges has to step in.
I thought the characters were wonderful the story was sweet and a lot of fun, with big comic relief mixed in with some hot scenes. Because we all know if it's forbidden its that much hotter right? grab the book and follow Gabe and Layla see if their forbidden will have any follow through and at what cost if any? Enjoy.

Laurie Roma and Kali Argent are both must read authors for me, but when they team up, it's fantastic! They know how to grab onto their readers from the 1st page to the last with their amazing storytelling and world building. Their characters are so delightfully flawed that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Gabe and Layla's story is one of falling for your friends little sister and finally deciding that it's time to claim her for good. This story has everything that you could want: comedy, drama, angst, joy and of course hot, hot romance (of course with these authors what do you expect). This was the 1st book in the Off Limits series and you will be sorry if you miss it. I can't wait for more!

Layla has had a crush on her brother’s best friend for a long time but he treats her like an annoying sister. Things change when he rescues her out of a bar during Mardi Gras. Both admit their feelings for each other.
Layla is completely awkward in this story. She says the wrong things, throws up on him, passes out, and nearly gives herself a concussion. The awkwardness is endearing. Gabe is older and a little more forceful.

Laugh out loud hotness.
Really liked this. Layla was so awkwardly funny and cute. Gabe was so in love and determined to keep Layla. This was one of my first books by these authors and I will definitely be reading more.
