PJ Roscoe has done it again! In Where Rivers Meet, she transports her readers to yet another place of magic and mystery. Immersing us in the beauties of wild Wales and the dramatic potential of the ancient copper mines at Beddgelert, she weaves a fantastic tale of love and renewal. Drawing upon her obvious love for the Welsh countryside, culture and language, she incorporates all the elements that delight fans of her writing – supernatural mystery, family and other relationships, the battle of good and evil, human generosity over greed and corruption – into an action-packed story. The dilemmas posed within the novel will have you turning the pages to the end and are skilfully resolved. Expect too a high-octane love affair! Phew!!

Where Rivers Meet - This is my first read by this author and I was lost in another world made by this talented storyteller. Absolutely mesmerizing are the well written storylines that weave together the lives of people, past and present, into a tapestry of love, devotion, heartbreak, secrets and deceptions.
The characters, good and bad, are so well developed that the reader knows each and every one. There are strong emotions brought out by each of them that run the gamut: love; heartbreak; confusion; joy; a complete and continuous emotional range throughout the story.
The dialogues are interesting and along with the heartbreak and lows, there are highs and humor. There is plenty of intrigue, suspense, romance; everything, which makes it difficult to put the book down even for a few moments. Be ready to go through several pots of tea when entering this beautiful story.
Fortunately, I found this book on Booksprout and hope this author has more wonderful stories to share. 5*
