The Moment We Fell is a touching story, full of loss and change that depicts the lives of two completely different characters. But, as we all know, opposites do attract more often than not and can either collide or fit in together like a puzzle. The story follows Paige, a dancer whose mother dies and she's forced leave the life she knew behind, in order to live with her estranged father. She gives up da ...more

This is a very touching story about coming to terms with loss and being accepting to change. I was really touched by this story. Both of the main characters experience and deal with loss and changes in their lives in different ways. I loved the overall theme of how much choice -- both the choices that we make in response to our pain ...more

I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. I can't remember the number of times I shed a few tears reading this. It's crazy because I've never experienced a huge loss like the main characters did but this book really tugged at something inside of me. Get this book and read it, I can't recommend it enough.

I love how the author develops these characters and their story. Her writing style makes you feel all of the emotions as the story unfolds. Pick this book up for the young adult in your life, and get one for yourself while you're at it!

okay, this book disappointed me a bit! At first, I was like this is going to be great! It's going to have a beautiful story, with a message and some meaningful prose, but it all fell a little flat!
As the story progressed I became a bit more disappointed with HOW it was written. The writing seemed slightly amateurish and held a lot of cliches in it's writing. Maybe if you're still a teenage girl you won't notice that part as much, but the conversations within the story between friends and the lov ...more

Although this was my first time reading this author, it certainly will not be the last time. Described as teen & young adult romance, this novel is about a seventeen-year-old girl, Paige, who after losing her mother suddenly is sent to live with a father that she never knew about and also has decided to give up her passion for dance, that she has been doing since she was four-years-old. New in town and new to her new home with her father, step-mother, and half-siblings, Paige makes friends easil

The moment we fell
By Kelli Warner
4 out of 5 stakes!!
This book is so cute and the way the characters are presented are awesome.
We meet Paige whom I have to say is just terrific. Not only does she have to go live a father she doesn't even really know, she gives up dancing for awhile. And then starting in a new place and meeting new people isn't exactly what she wants to do. But those are her mother's wishes when she passed away.
Just when she is fitting in she meets Cade and right away the rumors s ...more

3.5 stars.
This story is an interesting story about starting over and young love. Paige Bryant has to move in with her father after her mother passed away. The problem is that she didn’t know she had a father until her mother’s Will was read and he didn’t know about her either. Dealing with the loss of the only parent one knows and moving with the new parent who has a family...what a dicey situation for a grieving adolescent. Then add the fact that her new dad is the principal of her new high sch ...more

First of all, I've wanted to read Kelli Warner's work for a while now. I don't remember when or where I got the recommendation, but her book "Not with the Band" is on my TBR. LOL. "The Moment We Fell" was not a quick read, but I was definitely glued to my seat each time I picked it up. I absolutely loved Cade. I try to avoid stereotypes, but I genuinely love a reformed bad boy with a secret. Its my guilty pleasure. I love a real character. Paige was real and relatable, and I totally feel for her

Paige's life got turned upside down when her mother died. Not only did she finally learn about the father she never knew, but she was given over to his care. He lives miles away, with a family of his own, and he's the principal of the new school she'll attend. Just. Great. But at least her first day carries a little drama--enough to distract from the "principal's daughter who appeared out of nowhere." And of course, it comes in the form of a hot guy. A guy with rumors and a past. And according t

Kelli Warner has loved books ever since she could hold them in her hands. Propelled by a ferocious imagination as a child, her love for writing began by creating simple short stories and soap opera scenes while her mom watched General Hospital. Kelli went on to become an award-winning and Emmy-nominated TV newscaster and reporter while continuing to write young adult and contemporary romance novel
