I really loved reading this series of books. All the tales where great and it was nice to see that not all tales end with a happy ending.
Each book had their own story and even though they were similar they were also different enough that you could enjoy them on their own.
If you like a good ghost story with great characters, alittle bit of history and something that keeps you reading on to see what happens, you will love this series.
i highly recommend this box set and this author.

Enjoyable
A good read, a nice set of short stories, use of the English language could be better, e.g. using 'weary' instead of 'wary', 'taught' instead of 'taut' but still nice little reads.

If you like box sets , this is for you.

A nice story book
I like the introductions to the stories far more than the stories. The stories themselves would have been great had the endings held a little more punch.
