I am so loving these books and Madison Faye is one of my favourite authors. This is the third book in the Kilts and Kisses series and they are just getting hotter and hotter.
Cat although beautiful has a reputation of being headstrong and so far has had nine failed engagements but when her father announces that Lord Callum has requested her hand in marriage she decides that she needs to run to the only place she feels safe a dwelling left to her by her grandmother. She has been infatuated with Lord Bruce since they shared a kiss at Dungow Castle, he has haunted her dreams and fantasies for weeks but will he be like all the rest and cast her aside like all the others or will she get her chance at happiness and love?
Lord Callum Bruce has fought in wars but he is about to face his biggest challenge Cat. He has never been as affected by anyone as he was the moment he set eyes on her and after the heated kiss that they shared at his friend’s wedding he knows that he will have the feisty Catriona as his wife and is determined to show her the love he has for her only not everyone is happy at the prospect of their union and tries to destroy their future marriage before it has even begun. Can he show Cat that she is the one he loves or will she run from him for good this time?
Each one of these books are fun and sexy with chemistry that’s sizzles on the page. Totally safe with a little other woman drama but other than that it’s a perfect steamy read. Cannot wait for the rest of the series. Highly recommend this book and this author.

Another smutty goodness from Ms Faye, in which a rebellious princess finds her match in a fierce warrior, when he invades her castle..and her other castle too.

I have been enjoying the kilts and kisses series and so far Cat and Cal have been my fave couple her sarcasm and sassy mouth and his brute ways and love for his girl.. love it!! This was a fast pace enjoyable read.
Cat has been running from Cal since well book 1 (was mentioned in this) and a extra month she been keeping far away from this brute warrior man, hearing from her father that Cal is the Lucky number 10 suitor to ask for her hand in marriage the other 9 never made it past tea all thinking Cat is difficult and headstrong but Cal oh no he loves that about her and can't wait to spend more time with his soon to be hot-headed wife those steamy words and kisses make Cat melt in a puddle but before they can say their i do's they have to deal with Cat's wicked stepmother who has her eye on Cal.
Cal isn't going to give up his bride without a fight. Next up os Rhona Story!! I can't wait to see her tale with this "evil "savage Viking.. and how she's going to get out of her arrange marriage.
No cheating, no om drama ow drama the gf of her father does some drama, drama, sexy times, secondary chara, celibate and a virgin gal.

These two ladies that make up this author delivered quite the naughty, sexy, sweet, filthy, and unputdownable romance. I've loved the previous two in this series y'all and I really, really enjoyed Cat and Callum's story... Unforgettable. Unstoppable. Undeniable. And totally loaded with all the feels.

When I saw this book as an Amazon recommendation, I started to pass by it. The cover drew me in though. I've had some pretty shitty luck with their suggestions in the past but, even a broken clock is right twice a day. I figured, why the hell not?
PURE SMUT at its finest, people. Honestly I'm impressed at how much catnip is in this thing. If you're one of those weird asses that researches historical periods and then does a word analysis and clothing breakdown like a busy body, this is a hard pass for you. If you like trash, green light.

Madison Faye has outdone herself again! If you're a fan of over-the-top, hot, insta-love, dirty stories with dominant and demanding Scottish Lords who will stop at nothing to get the woman they want, chemistry that sizzles and jumps off the pages, sexual tension, drama, hot as hell sex scenes that will take your breath away, then this is the book for you.

This book was hot from the first page! I would have to saw Callum is right up there with Hammish in my favorite guys! Catriona is amazing g in her headstrong ways, she knows who she is and won't back down or change for no one. The only downside to this and if I could give it 4 and a half stars I would, would be the word mix ups, there are several that stopped me for a second and would interrupt the story flow.... But loved the story and can't wait to read Rhona's!

Wed to the Warrior is number three in the Kilts & Kisses series.
Smutty, sweet, and just as OTT as the first two. Only thing I didn't care for was the slight OW drama. Wasn't anything major, just not used to really seeing in this authors books. All in all its definitely worth the read.

Wed to the warrior is book three in the kilts and kisses series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Callum and Catriona met at Una and Hamish’s wedding and sparks flew. When Catriona’s father tells her that Callum has asked to marry her, she is resistant. Catriona is headstrong and stubborn but Callum isn’t going to back down. He wants Catriona and he isn’t taking no for an answer.
The chemistry between Catriona and Callum was clear to see and I liked them as a couple. The passion between them was through the roof and sparks flew. I loved how possessive Callum was of Catriona.
I really disliked Darcy. I hated the evil cow. I was glad that she didn’t achieve what she set out to do. I loved that Catriona’s father finally wised up to what his wife was like and didn’t put up with it.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books in this series.

I’m no prude, truly, but this is basically just porn. If that’s what you’re looking for, here it is, and it’s mostly pretty hot, though some of it reads like a teen virgin’s idea of sex. The—*cringe*—“novel” has only the most basic blocks of plot, and not at all creatively arranged. The text still has typographical errors. And, perhaps most disturbing of all, the main male, whose narrative is filled with all the most blunt and crude of sexual terms—if you can think of them, it has them, repeatedly—out of nowhere uses the word “tummy.” Call me old-fashioned, but I have trouble reconciling that cutesy word with the predominantly alpha Scottish male who said it—more than once. In truth, I only finished this book because I was a quarter into it before I realized I’d been bamboozled, and I have a reading goal to make.

Book 3 brings us Cat and Callum’s interesting story. A quick, steamy read that will surely get your Kilt in a knot. Headstrong Cat has no problems speaking her mind and has finally found her match in Callum who won’t let anything get in his way from claim Cat for himself. I found the plot was good but not the best and personally I didn’t care for these two as much as I have for the other couples in this series. Still I do enjoy reading this series and can’t wait to read book 4.

Cat and Callum’s story is fast-paced with loads of drama and lots of steam. Cat has no plans to marry and is considered headstrong and disobedient. Callum is all alpha and plans to take what he wants, Cat. Off the charts hot with great characters and an entertaining story. I loved it!

This series was fast instant love which is fine for me at times. I found each book to be similar with just different characters. I was looking for short reads in between my longer books so these fit the bill.

Great read. I loved it. Slight push/pull, but didn't last long. Ow was the stepmother and she only caused a minute of drama.

This made me want to cry, and not in a good way.
Firstly, I love smut - so the gratuitous sex and zero plot didn't bother me all that much, although, because this was supposed to be historical, I expected something a bit different, considering this was over 100 pages.
My real gripe is the fact that I can't rate this solely on the story as, well, I could barely focus on the story through ALL. THE. ERRORS. For a book that says USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR on the cover, I'm shocked that this wasn't edited. I mean, at all. This was typed up and never looked at by anyone again before it was published - that's how awful the errors were. As a reader, I find that lazy and offensive.
And I'm not talking about punctuation and spelling errors (although there were many) - I'm talking about how the two first-person POVs were mixed up MULTIPLE TIMES. Each chapter had a little header, telling you which character was narrating it. But the author had lines scattered throughout the entire book that were not in the right place. Like. I don't want to be confused while reading smut.
I'd also like to know why the only two dialogue tags in this were growled and purred. How much can a couple growl and purr at each other?! And yes, I get it, she had pouty lips.
I could rant about this for ages. To date, this is the worst book I've ever read. The author has beautiful covers, but if they can't be bothered to care about the most basic of editing, then that's a hard NOPE on any of their other work.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we get Catriona "Cat" McDougall and Lord Callum Bruce. We have met and gotten snippets of what has happened between these two in the previous 2 books in this series. Now we learn what has been happening with them. Cat is a strong willed woman who 9 different men have come and asked for her hand. One conversation or even a meeting with her has had them running for the hills. Callum is number 10 and means to be the last man. There are others however that don't want to see this union happen. Can these two find their HEA or will outside forces make sure that never happens?
This is another amazing hit in this series. Each of these books can be read as stand alone's but I would recommend the entire series. There are many ups and downs in this book I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This was smoking hit. Catriona is strong willed, stubborn and strongminded. She has yet to betrothed because of it. Numerous suites have been sent to marry her, but none were worthy enough to deal with her. That is until Lord Callum Bruce came along. When they previously met, the chemistry was hot. Lord Bruce has come to ask for her hand in marriage, but Catriona runs. Well, he finds her and it gets steamy. This story kept me on edge with excitement and need. Callum knows what he wants a d he gets what he wants, Catriona is what he wants. As the courtship goes on, she finds herself listing with need to kiss him and have him. He can't resist having her but true to traditions he doesnt until marriage but that doesn't stop him from having her one way or another. Darcy, evil stepmother, has other plans though and when she aims to have her way she will stop at nothing to get and get it. From beginning to end, this story is heavy with hotness between Callum and Catriona. A definite must read by Madison Faye! Highly recommended!

Catriona McDougall has scared more than one suiter away and will continue to do so, she has no intentions on changing and becoming some simpering weeping woman under any mans control.
And you have book 3 of the Kilts and kisses series, by Madison Faye and keeping to a style all her own she gives us a quick hot story full of sass and stubbornness. Coming from the Crusades you're not looking to be tied down like the others or so you say. Until her.
Nothing in life comes easy even a bride Callum fought in the wars and won, he's not about to let a slip of a girl win over both of their needs. Not only is he fighting her but a situation pops up and after coming home from the Crusades he could just end up dead.
Heat, passion., sass and laughs makes this third book a great addition. Enjoy
