Excellent book on invocation and evocation, with many general anecdotes of interest on getting along with Deities and making your way in the Pagan world in general. Not narrowly Wiccan, but the author does not care for Ceremonial Magicians, that's for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it widely. Like talking to an old Pagan friend and getting good advice.

Oddly, all the copies I've seen in person and online have this exact cover but do not have this author name - the author is listed as Lady Maeve Rhea. Possibly they are the same person?

Erring on the side of four stars rather than three because that's how I roll, but I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this book. It's a pretty short read, but very dense. I enjoyed the author's personal stories but feel a little lukewarm about the content overall. I'm not sure why, but I suspect that I'm just made a little nervous by this kind of spiritual work. There is some good advice, though, and I recommend it even if it's not entirely up your alley either.

Not too bad of a book, smallish, and covers the extreme basics of invoking and evoking, along with a few rituals to use.
