Justine Bennett's life isn't the one you'd want for all eternity, which is exactly how long she's going to have to live it.

She's the sword-wielding Guardian for the Goblet of Eternal Youth, which is currently masquerading as a shape-shifting espresso machine in a fancy New York City condo. Being an immortal badass in the City that Never Sleeps sounds exciting, but Justine

Immortally Cursed by S A Bayne
Paranormal romantic comedy. Lots of witty dialogue and silly antics by most of the characters. I particularly liked Theresa the dragon and Satan’s shallowness.
Great fun with laugh out loud moments.

Originally published as Date Me, Baby, One More Time by Stephanie Rowe. Per the author, this new version has “been substantially revised and expanded”.

Her life is one anyone would want for all eternity, but that’s exactly how long Justine Bennett has to be the Guardian for the Goblet of Eternal Youth. Being an immortal bad ass in the City that Never Sleeps should have been exciting but Justine has become quite bored, after she hasn’t gotten to behead anyone in centuries and the celibacy oath she took two hundred years ago is getting to her. But all that changes when Derek LaValle shows up at Justine’s door determined to do whatever it takes to ...more

Derek and Justine were amazing! I laughed for a good portion and cried too. Immortality sucks if you can't have your love beside you or your dragon. If you want a great emotionally charged book this is for you. You never know in this world what lives right next door to you! S.A. Bayne did a fantastic job on this book and can't wait for more from her.

I’ve read this author as Stephanie Rowe and loved every book. I was excited to see this new pen name and dived right into this book. I had completely forgotten just how much fun this author’s books were! Justine has to guard the Espresso Machine of Eternal Youth, Mona, but her job becomes complicated when Derek shows up to use Mona to break his family’s curse. What ensues is a LOL, wild ride with some great characters: Satan, who is head over heels in love with Justine’s mother; Theresa, a woman ...more

Immortally Cursed was my first novel by S.A. Bayne and I loved it. This story was entertaining, engrossing and unpredictable. I have to admit I really enjoyed this authors style of writing. The storyline was fun, fast-paced and well-crafted with multiple layers, designed to keep you hooked until the very end. There were twists and turns that had me at the edge of my seat wondering what's coming next and then on the next page, this story had me laughing out loud with some of the outrageous exploi ...more

The characters in this books are delightful! I kind of wish my best friend was a dragon, even if it meant trying to explain so many house fires.

The chemistry between Justine and Derek is invigorating and will have you trying to read even faster just to see what will conspire between them next.

The supporting characters are just as entertaining as the main characters. This book was a real joy to read. Kept me up late wanting to finish and really on the edge of my seat waiting to see what will ha

So Funny and Romantic

I found this not only hilariously comical but also romantic. Between Satan chasing after the Guardian's mother, a dragon with a predilection for cybersex, the Guardian must contend with a cursed male who has to kill her to get to her Ward. The antics of Satan, the friendship of Guardian and dragon who act more like sisters, and the cursed male whose family think is insane make for great entertainment.

It is definitely a fun read. From start to finish, you get plenty of funny dialogue and crazy situations. There are plenty of surprises along the way.

I liked the craziness that surrounded their relationship. It was not easy for them to determine the right course of action. Their friends and family added complications. The ending was perfect for them and the other characters.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard reading a book. There are so many great lines in here that had me laughing. Derek & Justine are a hot couple. S.A. Bayne has written an amazing book. Can’t wait for this series to continue. It had just enough heat to keep you wanting more but the true star of this book was the humor. I usually don’t highlight lines on my kindle, I highlighted so many line.
I received an ARC for my honest review.

Bit of a chaotic start, but this really was a delightful tale! Cheeky, irreverent, saucy and fun, a pleasure to read! I had my doubts when I first started reading, but I was quickly won over by the unusual characters. A self made mogul with a family curse that has killed every male for the last 200 years. He desperately needs to find the immortal guardian and The Goblet of Eternal Youth to break the curse. Add in a dragon sidekick, a mother in purgatory, and an eccentric twin brother and you hav ...more

Well written story full of humour, suspence and steam

This was such an entertaining read, full of humour, chemistry, surprises and suspense. The story was fast paced and totally sucked me in with the banter and twists. So many characters to love, so much wit to giggle, or outright lol to, it really was a fun read. I'm looking forward to more books in this series. Well done, Ms. Bayne!

I have to say that when I started this book I didn’t know where we were going, but I really really liked it! I found this story about Derek’s curse really entertaining. I loved Justine! Her job is to protect Mona (goblet than can provide immortality and eternal youth), and she takes that job seriously. Together they race to break Derek’s curse. Along the way we meet so many characters, but to me Satan is the funniest. I laughed out loud at his antics, and how little respect he is given. 🔫💦 I als ...more

Very humorous read. Satan is hilarious and the voice I read him in has stuck in my head. I loved the fact that Justine and Derek are both strong willed and steadfast in their beliefs but not so much so they can't work together. Story is well paced and the ending is not a cliffhanger.

When I started this book I was still on the fence about Stephanie's humorous books. I liked Not Quite a Devil and The Demon You Trust, but I still wasn't quite sure if I was going to be able to get into a series of silliness.

LMAO!!! Who was I kidding! This book was hysterical! I've never read a book that embraces silliness, goofiness, downright bizarre behavior in such a complete way that the entire storyline depends on this humor! Usually when a book has snarky humor or even silly humor it's br

I was given a free ARC of this book for honest review, and I loved the book so much I bought it too. When you find an author you love, and support, ESP. when that author has taken a completely new direction from their "already successful" plot/protagonist type, the best way to do so is to buy their books. Easy-peasy. I love, love, the new direction S.A. Bayne/Stephanie Rowe has taken, and urge anyone reading this review to run, not walk, to buy her books (the old direction was great too). Bottom line? You should read this book. It successfully demonstrates how paranormal romance can be funny without being cheesy. Any author who can make Satan a) the character with possibly the most ridiculous lines and b) someone you almost want to root for, is an author you want to check out.

My next favorite thing about this book is how female friendship does not take a backseat when the romance kicks in. The friend is smart and witty herself and does not relinquish her importance to the main c

A fountain of youth masquerading as an espresso machine... named Mona.
A sword welding Guardian who hasn’t had sex in 200 years...
A back up guardian and best friend named Theresa who has her own issues...
Add a good looking, no carb pretzel king looking to end a curse...
And an equally smart and sexy twin brother...
Mix in a little forced trust, a huge dollop of attraction and stir!
Now Add The guardians mother....
Who now resides in a nice house in suburbia... inPurgatory....

For starters I am a huge Stephanie Rowe fan but I was pleasantly surprised by how different this book is from her others that I've read. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so excuse my vagueness.

I loved the chemistry between Derek and Justine. I liked how it came out naturally without being over done or raunchy. The characters are hilarious. The personalities she gives them are so complimentary to one another but they are also so different you don't feel like you're reading different POV's

I really liked this book. I'm a long term Stephanie Rowe fan and even though her work as S. A. Bayne is a lot more lighthearted compared to some of her other stuff, the epicness still holds up.

As with pretty much any romance book, the ending for the main two characters was inevitable but what made the story fun was everyone else. I loved the strong females, especially Theresa. Even with the paranormal plotlines, they are all still relatable in their emotions and flaws. I personally found Satan

Immortally Cursed needs more than five stars. This was the best guilty pleasure I’ve read in a while. Don’t finish reading this review, just go get the book and read it!

It was full of fun, snark, adventure, mystery, romance, excellent banter. Even the bad guys were fun. The “secondary” characters were full up front and having their own say in the story. I loved all of them!! While the story is based around the Guardian and a pretzel mogul, everyone had a perfect part in making this an enjoyable

Delightful find in author with not having read before but the story line when seen called to me. The author knows how to draw you in with a opening that starts tickling the curiosity in this one. When events show what is at stake you are also pulled to the edge with anticipation on how this will go. Derek even wields sarcastic humor at times that will have a chuckle escape. You also have your eye on Justine as she is a important part also. Drama carries you along with you lapping up every bit. T ...more

Immortally Cursed has a plot that keeps moving forward at a steady pace with tons of crazy obstacles being thrown at the main characters. S.A. Bayne has given readers a new world to play in where immortality and magic abound.

There is plenty of slapstick humor that lightens the mood of our cursed hero and hunted heroine. Both Derek LaValle and Justine Bennett light up the pages with their chemistry and crazy issues. These characters put the “fun” in dysfunctional families.

I absolutely loved this book. It was full of Humour and very strong characters. I loved the interaction between Justine and Theresa they were hilarious. They made me laugh out load. It was great to see the main Female character being the stronger person for a change but Derek the main male character was still a force to be reckoned with. I can’t wait to read Theresa’s story next it should be fun. I have read all of Stephanie Rowe’s paranormal books and they get better and better if that’s at all ...more

This was a totally amazing book. It grabbed me from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the end. I didn’t want it to end though. The characters were fun, strong-willed and engaging. I especially loved Satan for his over the top wooing of Iris. The story had laugh out loud passages that I loved and I’m so looking forward to the next book. You won’t be disappointed with this one.

I enjoyed the uniqueness of this book. I will say it took me a few chapters to get into it, but once I did it was great. It is so refreshing to read something new and different, especially when it’s by one of your favorite authors. The characters are quirky and entertaining, and the plot is pretty straight forward. If you are looking for something funny and entertaining this is for you.

This is a very good, well written, story with magic, demons, guardians and an unusual search by a cursed mortal man. The main characters are defined, relatable and are at odds. This is their chance for a HEA, if they can manage to stay alive. I liked this entertaining, and interesting story. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

This book is totally different from what I have read prior for this author. The characters are funny and I laughed out loud so many times. It is a wonder my family didn’t ask what was going on. Justine and Derek have such a rapport from the first time they meet. It is so sweet and sexy. I love Theresa, Justine’s friend. She is so freaking funny. I can’t wait to see where this book leads.
