A new author for me and I very glad to have discovered a very smart book about stretching yourself and letting go. I'll be by again, Casey Hagen!!

This story is about Nikki/Natalie Lane and Aiden Powell.
She is a well known singer who’s constantly in the limelight. Aiden is a chiropractor, filled with responsibilities . A man who has no time for himself until one day someone gifts him a ticket for Nikki’s concert. A singer he has been enchanted by for a very long time. So in the spur of the moment, he decides it’s his time to enjoy himself.
They meet in a “greet and meet” and the attraction is instantaneous. The magic of one night is all they expect but fate and feelings have a different agenda.
The story was at times erotic, and at others slow moving , but in a good way. This wasn’t a “whodunit” or suspenseful story. It was a story that gave the reader a chance to “spend time”with these characters outside of their responsibilities and in a place where they could be themselves.
It was a sweet and touching story . A perfect one to enjoy in an afternoon of leisure.

This is a super easy read, cute read about love, passion and finding that someone who truly sees you.
Our main characters are so real, so easy to love and understand.

I have only one problem with this story...I didn’t want it to end! What a truly pleasurable read, great characters, witty dialog and love. Aiden Powell has too many responsibilities in his life, his medical practice, his father who is suffering from dementia and a twin brother who parties his way through life. Aiden once heard Nikki Lane sing and now is addicted to her music. When he is offered free VIP tickets to her concert, he knows that this is something he needs to do. Nikki is preparing for her concert when during the “meet and greet” she meets Aiden. There is something about Aiden that calls to her and she asks to meet him after her show. Even though this was a shorter story, Ms. Hagen, with her usual creative writing style, manages to give the reader everything you want in a story…love, smoking hot intimacy , romance, humor, and a great ending! This was a nice quick read. I liked how they discovered a lot about each other on their trip. This was a nice sweet read with a low level of angst.
