Well, it finally happened.

After many moons of reading romance novels, I finally found a Greek billionaire story I can get behind. I have to say, I honestly thought this day would never come.

Sophia has lived her life trying to fade into the background. Her overbearing father demands a docile and subservient daughter, even though her natural inclination is to be bold and stick to her own guns. At 24, Sofia’s learned to keep to herself and not rock the boat, but when her father tells h

Reminded me so much of a traditional HQ romance... 3.5 stars
Because I am a romance addict I’ve read hundreds of millionaire/billionaire stories. I enjoy them I admit. Every woman wants to be spoiled and fall for a hot guy who can afford to spoil us. This book is exactly that. It reminded me so much of a traditional Harlequin romance though. Several areas I found humorous. Are there really women who are that docile and refuse to stick up for themselves? I have a hard tim

Smart, seductive, and entertaining!

How to Lose a Fiancé is a hilarious, quick, steamy tale that takes us into the life of the stubborn, creative, Sophia Andreous as she endeavours to do whatever it takes to have the sexy, hardworking, billionaire Dion revoke the business deal that includes their arranged marriage.

The writing is whimsical and light. The characters are quirky, supportive, and passionate. And the plot is a laugh-out-loud funny blend of familial obligation, life, love, friendship, i
Sophia reluctantly agrees to an arranged marriage to protect her mother. She flies out to Corfu to meet her soon to be fiancè but she has a plan.

Dion wants to buy Sophia's fathers company for personal reasons and if that means a bride being in deal then who is he to say no. He wants the company more than anything else. I didn't even mind that he is a millionaire. He did act like it and he doesn't have a string of women.

I rarely wander into the rom com genre there is just something that rubs me
Stefanie London produces a wonderfully fun, sexy and witty romance.

Dion Kourakis has built a billion dollar Investment Empire with his only friend by his side and the help and support his ailing mentor. He needs nothing except a bit of revenge and in order to get it he requires acquiring a company that comes with a bride for him. Getting married and falling in love was never in his life plan, and now he’ll have to resist his future wife’s beauty and quirky personality. So as to not look focus of

A Greek billionaire meets his match in How to Lose a Fiancé . I’m generally not one for billionaire romances, but how could I resist one where the heroine pulls a reverse Ugly Duckling and is armed with a taxidermy fox? Author Stefanie London does a good job of mixing humor and heart in this story.

All her life, Sophia Andreou has worked to keep her father happy. She’s so close to getting her freedom when the man pulls the rug out from under her and say

SUCH A FANTASTIC AND HEARTWARMING READ. Stefanie really did a good job at creating dynamic characters with complex issues. Loved how she handled where the story was going and even our villains.

Great setup for this fun, sexy romance! Sophia's controlling father has planned a marriage of convenience for her to Dion along with the sale of his company. Sophia needs Dion to reject her so she can get out of the marriage without making her father angry, so she plans to be as outlandish as possible, and exactly the wrong type of woman for a society lifestyle. But it's not long before Dion sees through her ruse and when the truth comes out, the real woman is even more fascinating to him.

Sophia has done everything possible to make her father happy. Following the rules, being a good daughter, etc., but even she has a limit, and, him arranging a marriage for her for the sake of the family business is it.

Dion was an orphan and has clawed his way to the top. He didn't have anything back then, now he has everything. Billions of dollars, the respect of his peers and then some. However, his past left emotional scars he doesn't allow anyone to see, but you can only ignore them for so lo

After letting her father dictated all her life, Sophia Andreou dreams of a life of independence but she's still staying for her mom who's not emotionally strong. But now he went too far. He wants her to marry a man she never met to save his business company. No matter how nice the self-made Greek billionaire sound, or well-mannered and well-behaved, she doesn't want to marry a stranger but know she can't refuse. So instead, she'll just have to find a way to convince Dion Kourakis to not want

I've been a big fan of Stefanie London ever since I read her Bad Bachelors series. She writes fun contemporary romances that are super swoony to boot. I loved the concept of How to Lose a Fiance, so I knew I had to try it. I mean, what's not to like with a story of a woman trying to get her fiance to dump her?

Sophia has spent most of her life keeping her family by basically being a puppet in her father's hands. She does everything that he asks of her without a word, but this time around he has g

Ummm....a Greek billionaire? Yes please!!! I was hooked on How to Lose a Fiancé as soon as I read the blurb and thankfully the entire novel did not disappoint. I loved how tough Sophia was throughout the novel. It's refreshing to see a woman have a backbone these days! And Dion....oh Dion! I adored him! I enjoyed witnessing these two move from a marriage in name only to a real marriage! Their journey to falling in love wasn't easy, but it was definitely worth it in the end. Sophia and Dion are p ...more

It's a weird day when my biggest problem with the book is the cover. And it's not even a bad cover when you take it as it is. It's just... the heroine of this book, Sophia, is frequently described as pale, paler than Dion at the very least. So why is this beautiful but very tanned woman on the cover??? Yes, I know that's a very picky point for me to make, but ugh.

Now that my worst criticism is over and done with... I read this book mostly in one sitting. Seriously. I pretty much

MS London never disappoints me with one of her stories, she really knows how to pull a reader in, she brings the characters to life, she makes me cheer them on and feel the emotions, make yourself comfy for this one you won’t want to put it down as you get to know Dion and Sophia.

Sophia Andreou lives in New York she has been controlled by her father forever and now that her father’s business is in dire straits and he needs to sell it that controlling does not stop, he is making a pact with the b

Another winner from Stefanie! This book has it all, topped perfectly with a handsome Greek businessman! Sophia has spent her life doing her father's bidding. He's cruel, manipulative and holds her mother's well being over Sophie's head as a means of controlling her. Especially now since his latest business deal includes Sophie as part of the package. He needs to bail on his business which is failing miserably and he plays right into the hands of Dion who wants the company for his own reasons as ...more

What do you do when your father has committed you to an arranged marriage that you don't want to enter into? Well, you try to lose the guy as fast as you can when you meet him!

This book definitely had lots of laughs as Sophia finds herself in Greece ready to meet the guy her father arranged for her to marry in order to save the family business. Sophia was full of spunk and knew exactly what she was doing... until she didn't. The thing was that she never thought she would actually fall for the ha

Holy anti-commitment Greek lonely billionaires, Batman! Ms. London has done it again.

I freaking love this book, it was fun, sweet and had it some sexiness to it. I adored Beauty and the Greek Billionaire and I was hoping Nico’s business partner would get his own story, and How to Lose a Fiancé totally did it justice.

Dion has been set on the path of revenge for as long as he can remember. Now with victory on the tip of his fingers he will do anything to achieve it, even if that means marrying som

Sophie has spent a lifetime trying to avoid her father’s wrath both for her and her mother’s sake. When she is called into his office, she didn’t expect to told that her father was selling his company to Dion, a Greek billionaire, and that her being his wife was part of the purchase. She believes the best way out of the situation is by proving herself unworthy to her new fiancée and having him end the arrangement.

Dion has a painful past and he is determined to purchase the company for his own re

This was a cute, angst free, funny and sexy book. With a heroine desperate to ditch her fiancée you know you are going to be in for a fun ride and I was not disappointed.
Our heroine is suffering from the case of an arranged marriage her father has arranged as an extension of a business deal. She can’t back out so instead she comes up with a plan to get her super hot, Greek billionaire fiancée to call it off instead. The antics are definitely funny and involve a taxidermy fox and so much more!
Stefanie London, a new-to-me author, writes about one of my favourite tropes in How to Lose a Fiancé and I was so intrigued and completely interested after reading the blurb. Plus, it had Greek's, which also happens to one of my favourite cultures to read about so I HAD to pick this book up!

Unfortunately, I found this book to be boring and I actually resorted to flipping pages after the 60% mark. Personally, the writing felt bland, the characters not interesting enough and the spark between th

I really enjoyed this fun, semi-hate to love romance. Sophia was the type of character I can get behind. At the start of the book she plays the good daughter, but as it progresses she grows stronger and more confident. I liked her quirky ways of keeping Greek billionaire Dion away and uninterested. The romance between the two seemed to happen naturally. It didn't feel forced which was a breath of fresh air. I called it a semi-hate to love romance, because they don't actually hate each other, its ...more

I loved this story so much. I’ve never read any Greek billionaire stories, but I am a sucker for any fake relationship/arranged marriage romances. I don’t think the cover properly shows how quirky and funny this story really is!

Sophia is essentially forced to marry Dion, a complete stranger, in order to keep a hold of her father’s company once Dion buys it. This isn’t what Sophia wants (who wants to marry a stranger?), but she will do anything to be able to make a life for herself and save her

This was a super quick and fun read. Predictable in the best ways with two entertaining main characters, decent backstory and subplots, a little bit of ridiculousness, and a dash of saucy. However, while I'm glad these are always a quick read, I always find myself wanting more detail and depth. Just an extra few chapters to build out more from Sophie and Dion.
