It is all about humans - animals relationships, some won't let their cats out because they're afraid to lose them or them being hurt, something I did with my cat who lived with me for almost 12 years, he was well taken care of but he longed to go out. And some will let their cats go out because they want them to feel free, something I did with both my cats (now 2 years old) and ended up missing one of them for about 6 months now.

What happened to Brina can happen to any cat, and lots of people

This is a short and very sweet story about indoor cats and outdoor cats. Brina meets a gang
Cute story of what happens when a city cat meets a group of wild strays, and wonders if life is better in the outdoors, rather than in the indoors. Sure, you get food inside, but look at all the grasshoppers and mice outside. What could possibly be better.

So Brina leaves her humans to see if life is better outside.

The story goes between Brina and her humans, who miss her very much, and wander the town, where they are on vacation, looking for her.

The translation is mostly well done, although

In exchange of reading this book, I offer my honest review. I received a copy of this book from @NetGalley.

This is an adorable tale of two-year old cat, Brina, who goes on vacation with her human family. Born on a farm, she remembers her past while a kitten when she gazes outside. So when she finds the opportunity to go explore with the help of fellow cats in the area, she gets to live on the wild side again. While she tries to adjust to her new life, she learns some lessons about family,

3.5 or 4 stars. This book was very cute. Sometimes it got a little cheesy or repetitive, but it is meant for middle grade kids. The art style is wonderful, as is the storyline. All of the adventures Brina goes on are entertaining and had me reading this in one sitting. A cute comic I think many different age groups would enjoy.

Who doesn’t love a story about animals?

**Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.**

This was a very sweet and cute graphic novel. It was gorgeously illustrated, with beautifully drawn mountains and each cat had their own individuality that could be seen in their words and pictures.

It is a story of being misunderstood, of not being sure why things have to be a certain way, there is rebellion and ultimately understanding.

Brina the Cat is an all ages graphic novel about a city cat who decides to try out the stray life.

I found the story to be pretty cute. It's short enough to keep a kid's attention span, but touches on some more complex things like how we identify ourselves and how different people process anxiety and grief. The book was originally published in Italy, and there are times where the translation does feel a bit clunky.

The art style was very fitting for the book. It's cute, but capable of conveying

Brina is a satisfied cat, living a good life with her owners. Until they go on vacation and a fellow cat convinces her that she needs adventure in her life. She breaks free from her bonds and goes out exploring the wild and freedom of having no owners. But then, is it really freedom when someone keeps deciding what you can and can't do? And is it really better than a loving home?

Overall, we enjoyed the lessons she learned about friendship. Great illustrations! A sweet end to the story! Would read more in the series.

Brina the Cat is a book I could see a lot of midgrade readers adoring. This story was quick-paced and the graphics were well done. Honestly, it's worth a read just to look at the illustrations.

The story itself was told well. This book focused on the bond between cats and humans which was a fun aspect to explore. I enjoyed seeing the love between Brina and her owners. Though I enjoyed this book, for the most part, I did feel

I was lucky enough to get to read a new graphic novel by Giorgio Salati, Christian Cornia (Illustrations) called Brina the Cat and The Gang of Feline Sun and I really enjoyed the writing and the artwork were so on point. Brina is a city cat who goes on holiday with her owners to the country and one day she is chased by a dog and runs away and meets a leader of a cat gang called Vespucci and the novel follows what actually happens to the main character. I so can't wait to find out what happens to ...more

A human couple on holiday in the Alps have a nightmare time when Brina, their city cat, vanishes. She in her feline way has had her head turned by the nature, the prey – and a one-eyed old rascal of a moggy, leading a gang of feral cats in a life of crime. It's all perfectly reasonable, but not brilliant – to me, in this translation at least, there was too much of a disconnect between the emotionless narration of the humans' story, and the cutesiness of the cats' adventure. Still, nothing much ...more

Brina is a house cat who is on vacation with her owners. She desperately wants to venture outside, but when she does, she finds herself in a gang of wild cats. Brina's owners are desperate to find her. Will Brina choose to stay with the cats or will she go home to her humans?

I thought this graphic novel was adorable. I definitely found myself cheering for Brina. Part of the appeal with graphic novels are the illustrations, and the illustrations here were very well done.

This was a pretty cute and quick little read. It’s about Brina the cat who is on vacation with her owners outside of the city and how she gets out and meets a stray cat who wants to show her how to be a wild cat but things don’t go quite as either of them planned.

I really liked the art style and the simplicity of the dialogue and story, it was quick and I’m glad that I got a chance to read it!

This story is for elementary or middle schoolers. Some of the text seemed like it would better fit in a picture book or easy reader. The illustrations were very good and helped tell the story. There was some intriguing emotion and the ending was very neat.

I love a good cat graphic novel (or really any cat book). There's nothing that really makes this book stand out, but the illustrations were well done and the story should be interesting enough for young readers.
