When Mason Wild heads out West to escape his past, he doesn’t have a plan or a penny to his name. Luckily he finds a job with a roofing company run by a rodeo cowboy who’s k

I almost had the secret figured out. This was a sweet story of a young man who ran away and hitchhiked from the east coast to Texas. So many bad things could have happened to him along the way, but he got lucky. I loved Almon, Mason was so lucky he entered his life. Knowing that his son worked for Levi and Troy introducing them and mason getting a job working for Levi and then moving into one of his little houses on the property he own, just shows you that there is still some good out there. Cowboy love

Walking away from everything and finding yourself and everything you really wanted. I love these books. I love going on the journey and seeing love through the mundane. The everyday life is what matters. I do wish we could have seen parts. Like did they fully come out as a couple in the rodeo community, how did certain people find out they were a couple. Some big missing parts. Writing was good smexy was good and the side character were ehh. I loved A, and C, the rest were ok

A really enjoyable romance from Jodi and B.A. We have two well developed characters come together who slowly build a connection that neither were looking for but both needed.
Mason is running and ends up working for Levi on his crew of roofers. Much needed money and even some accommodation, so huge win for him. Levi is struggling with having his jaw wired shut after a rodeo accident. He still has to run his company and wasn't expecting much from this new kid.
I love how this story builds along wit

Land of Enchantment by author Jodi Payne and B.A. Tortuga is a fast-paced read that I really enjoyed reading. Mason and Levi are characters I really loved getting to know.
There are only five years separating these two but sometimes Levi seems way older than his 25 years. What I loved about him is his steadfast and laid-back ways. He is a good person down to his soul and it shows in this book. He knows who he is and is good in his own skin.
Mason well when we meet him, he is a mess. He is on the

This is a beautiful story and I love everything about it. I was fully engaged from the very first page and I could not put it down. Land of Enchantment is well written, quirky, funny, sweet, emotional, the characters are amazing, the setting is gorgeous and the storyline is excellent. Levi and Mason are perfect for each other and I love the strong connection and smoking hot chemistry between them. They are both young but their actions and reactions are very mature which is what makes this story ...more

Enchanted by Land of Enchantment
This is another solid collaboration from BA Tortuga and Jodi Payne. The two MCs are Mason Wild, city boy from New Jersey, and Levi Yost, roofer by weekday and rodeo cowboy by weekend. Our guys meet up when Mason ends up in New Mexico and is hired by Levi to join his roofing crew. As the story unfolds, Levi has his jaw wired shut due to a rodeo wreck the previous day, so is feeling pretty miserable. Levi hires Mason and they slowly transition from boss/employee to

Land of Enchantment by Jody Payne & BA Tortuga is a contemporary m/m romance with a western tilt. Levi and Mason are such great characters with an amazing story. Land of Enchantment is a true feel-good story, and one I loved from the moment I started to read until the very last word. It’s lovely to read a book where the men are genuinely good men. I don’t want to talk about what happens in the tale because it would take away the loving romance. It’s a sweetheart of a novel and I recommend it to everyone.

A city guy and a rodeo guy.. One trying to run from his past another needs an extra hand. THey meet and from here and out we see sparks are flying. A good storyline with banters and snarks and of course two guys who falls in love.
Characters are developed and minor characters are good.
I like this book and it will be read again later.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a sweet romance without a ton of angst. Levi and Mason met, fell in love and navigated some obstacles along the way as they found their happily ever after. Their love was genuine, sweet and a fun read!

Mason ran away after something happen to him at home. Levi is a cowboy and hired Mason to help him after he was in a rodeo accident. Their story is well written and the characters are great. The story is slow-burn, sweet, and romantic.

This was a lovely and sweet book featuring cowboys and greenhorns.
It was written with the trademark sweetness that I have come to associate with B.A Tortuga and semi new to me Jodi Payne.

It starts out rough for poor Mason and Levi but as the story progresses, they learn to help one another and find out who they are. Especially since they are so young.
I wanted to cuddle these two so much. Especially Mason as he was a complete duck out of water and trying to keep his past in the past and his he

We meet Mason while he is running away making himself far away from home due to something that happens. He’s 20 and was in college.

Mason meet Levi while looking for a job as he needs money and a place to live. Levi is a cowboy that was in a recent bull riding incident and needs some summer help with his roofing business.

I found these two guys to just be so sweet and caring. In Fact both looking out for the other giving the care the needs. They both open themselves up and really find who they a

Silver Lining!

A down-on-his-luck young man, running away from something. He goes from town to town, looking for jobs and he hitchhikes to get as far away as he can. Mason keeps his head down.

Levi is still very young at 25, but he feels old literally, maybe it has something to do with his love for rodeo. He has been doing it for a number of years and the kind of injuries he has endured could make a lesser man give up but not Levi, he loves it too much. Although when he is off the rodeo circuit, h

East meets West. A Rodeo cowboy and a college student on the run. What couIf they possibly have in common? If you love a sweet, well written slow burn MM romance with just the right amount of humor and action this is the story for you. A great slow paced employee to friends to lovers story for Mason and Levi. A slow build up for them both as they get to know each other. Sexy scenes and adventure with the mountains and rodeo events too. I wasn't too keen on the "Right On" "Boy" and "Old Man" talks through out this book. The ending was okay we get to know the reason for Mason's running.

Mason 20 was on a mission to get the furthest away from his home town. Finding jobs to earn money as he could keeping his head down low.

I read Land of Enchantment all Sunday❤️❤️❤️! I couldn’t put it down until I finished the story! I fell in love with Mason and Levi’s (Lee😂) as individuals and as couple. The story had so much I enjoy when reading hurt cowboy, a friend to lovers, wonderful setting, sense of place and community. Fun, has your back, your family/your people cast of characters. When I put down the book I had to blink to realize I wasn’t in New Mexico.

Mason is running. Afraid his past will catch up to him. Thinking he just has to keep moving. He meets a Good Samaritan and decides he can take a few months of work to make some money. When he meets his new boss, a rodeo cowboy with a wired jaw, he doesn’t realize this place and man have become his future.

Levi, a bull rider, is recovering from a broken jaw. He has a roofing business that keeps him busy when he’s not rodeoing. He figured hiring the city kid wouldn’t work out but he needed someone

Beautiful, frustrating, and sweet

Mason is running - no place to stay, no id, barely any money. Levi owns a business, but once he was running, too. I loved this book, it was frustrating at times, satisfying at others. It was fascinating to learn more about rodeo, something I know as much about as Mason before he left New Jersey. I loved the slow, eventual reveal of more of Mason's story. I reached the end of the book and was still waiting to learn more about Levi. I loved Cort and Roger, too, and

Engaging slow-burn friendship to love story that will touch your heart.  I enjoyed both MC's, they were likable and interesting characters.  The pace and writing flowed well and the supporting characters added a lot to the feel of the story.

Mason and Levi are very different men and yet they find a very special connection that is worth pursuing.  I loved their dreams and their understanding of each other.

What a fantastic, grab-you-by-the-feels, poignant, slow burning, amazing, engaging, sweet, charming, and absolutely delightful twist on the classic opposites attract/friends-to-lovers storyline. I was so wrapped up in this beautiful story that I really hated it when RL kept interrupting me. I would recommend getting this marvelous gem for yourself.

Who can resist a cowboy? Not me and definately not Mason! I love the connection Levi and Mason have. They go from friends to so much more as they open up to each other. Each has lived a life way beyond their age. THey have managed to keep true to themselves and are good people.
I enjoyed the secondary characters so much.

Great read! Mason and his cowboy Levi had amazing chemistry. I was invested in these characters from the beginning. Storyline has plenty of feels, but low on the drama. Definitely recommended for fans of cowboy romances.
