Macy Butler

Macy is a foul-mouthed tennis addict whose sweet side comes out with her two teenage sons. She loves to write about sassy women who like their men Alpha in the bedroom and Beta at the breakfast table. Strong, smart heroines inspire her as much as hard-bodied heroes with hearts of gold.

Her passion is writing erotic stories that appeal to smart women, and men. She loves to show that happily-ever-after can come in many forms and can keep getting better, through characters ballsy enough to push their own boundaries to cross the line from fantasy to reality. She hopes to inspire readers to think outside the confines of social norms.

I loved this book most because it is about a woman who discovers herself sexually and isn't that what most of us wish for. Lucky for her she has a hot husband who appreciates it a lot!! Great book!

This was so super hot and very well written as we get to see Sally rediscover her sexuality in a whole new light and let me tell you she brings it full force home to her husband Shane who is totally shocked but so loving every minute of his new wife and relationship. This was beautiful as they discover each other again and truths are told that makes them so much closer with excitement of new things.

This is a truly steaming erotic read! Macy manages to use her pen to create and paint sex scenes like it’s no ones business. They are breathtaking.

Sally is more vanilla sexually than a virgin, but a change voyeur encounter at her work place, her inner sex vixen is awakened to the shock and pleasure of her husband.

This is a story of sexual self discovery and how to embrace and experience life to it’s fullest.

I was sent this ARC by the author in exchange for a spoiler free honest review.

Sweet and Steamy

A fun, quick, melt-your-kindle read! It is so HOT and I can’t wait to read more of Macy’s words! I loved the pace of the story, the writing style, and Sally and Shane’s chemistry was off the charts.

This was probably one of the most realistic portrayals of a happy marriage that just needed a little boost. I loved how it skirted all the cliches and was fun to read. Instead of a book about saving a failing marriage, you get a couple that is madly in love with each other. So much so that this story only improves on that happiness.

We meet Sally, who is a bright librarian, and Shane, who is a professor. Even the descriptions of these two defy cliche. Sally is beautiful, open and smart. Shane is handsome, muscular and smart. Neither is a shy wimpy personality that you might assume from their jobs.

After Sally discovers her love of voyeurism while coming across a young couple,it's as if she ignites. She questions everything while trying everything. She has shame, then doubt, then confidence sometimes all at once. Sounds familiar, ladies? The sex scenes are not over the top, but exhilarating. Again, it's so realistic for those in long relationships. You may love your significant other, you just want...more.

Shane is a great character, questioning why now, and at first you might get upset...until you learn why. And you realize his reaction is normal. He jumps in head first to Sally's delight, encouraging and loving her. This is beyond your typical bedroom romp. It is short, but substantial and meaningful. They are a married couple who communicate and work through things. It's what makes them easy to root for.

This was not my typical genre so the content was a little jarring, to say the least. Can we say that opening scene? The primary characters had off the charts chemistry and didn't fail to act on it. The story flowed well and I think for someone who likes erotic romance this would be a 5-star read. It was a scorcher in that respect, but unfortunately, I wasn't pulled in to it only because this is not a genre that I read. While this was not for me, I can appreciate the talent and creativity displayed in the author's writing.

⤷ this is book 14 of 77 books i have downloaded for free on amazon kindle, so it may be time to finally go through them all. oh god, wish me luck.

this is basically porn, but it was really fun to read! so objectively, since a pwp cannot be more than 2 stars, it's only got two. but enjoyment and fun-wise it was definitely 4 stars!

Sally is married to Shane. Not happy with her job always sitting at her desk. One day a coworker calls out again and Sally fills in shelving book which she loves. She hears moaning and heavy breathing coming from the next aisle, who is it? Don't know but she watches them have sex. Loved the book and look forward to reading more of Sally and Shane's story.

Received this book as a box set ARC from Macy. I will review each individually. I find this book slightly out of the box because it’s not a finding love romance but a 50 shades of spicing up your marriage.

Sally, the librarian, comes across a couple doing the deed in the library. This awakens her libido and her husband Shane becomes the recipient in this.

Hot and steamy oh my!!! And an awesome scene that’s hilarious revolving a Brazilian wax.

Love Macy’s book, they are sexy and funny and chockfull of new ideas. Onto book 2!

If you enjoy books about exploring sexuality, this is a definite must read. I absolutely loved Shane and Sally’s relationship! The steam between these two was HOT. Get you a “beta in the streets, alpha in the sheets” kinda man ‘cause wow, I’m blushing. 😳

This is a new to me author. At first glance, the cover is nice- I like the pop of color, I'm a cover girl and although I might have browsed past this one that touch of teal was a nice choice.
The storyline is intriguing, while working in the library the heroine discovers a couple banging and it sets off a special kind of need in her. Sally, the heroine, feels very embarrassed by her reaction, I mean how weird is it to enjoy watching others right?!?!
The book pretty much is based on a 24 hour timeline and it seems like so much happens in that time.
3 stars- there are a handful of errors in editing, I wasn't a fan of the way the book ended ( but it's okay as book 2 is already out), and I didn't completely connect to the book as I like to.

Sally is a librarian and is married. After witnessing two lovers going out it, she decides to spice up her sex life with her husband.

I adored the characters in this book, and I am so glad Sally is ready to explore her sexuality.

This book is steamy and grabs the readers attention from the word go. Will she make her husband see what it can be like, or will he think she has lost her mind? You have to read it to find out.

This short story is engrossing and not a single detail left out. Her characters are well drawn and the roles they play are unmistakable. For a new author, she hit it out of the ball bark. Great read.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I enjoyed reading it. I was a bit jealous of Sally being a librarian because this is what I would like to be in my next life. Sally encounters a couple having wild sex in the upper floor of the library. As she watches, she gets turned on and this gives her some ideas to spice up her sex life with her husband, Shane. She makes some changes to herself and hopes Shane likes what he sees. This author knows how to write hot sex scenes that gives any couple ideas. I look forward to Macy Butler's next book!

Sally is the librarian in the local university where Shane, her husband is a physics lecturer.
They have been friends and vanilla lovers that was until the evening while working late she saw something between the bookshelves.
This sighting led to her exploring outside the world of vanilla sex. She confided in her very non-vanilla sister who stoked the fire of lust inside her.
Shane was more than happy with the situation even after she told him what made her suddenly change in the bedroom.
This book goes from very vanilla through sexy underwear , masturbation and beyond.

Macy Butler is a new to me author. I took a chance after meeting her at a book signing.

One to Watch is a cute, dirty story. Open-mindedness has to start somewhere and Sally’s adventure begins in the library where she works. She brings her adventure home to her husband and the fun begins. I liked that this story centers around Sally and that her husband, Shane, is so supportive.

As Sally learns “YOLO”, You only live once, so grab this quick story and maybe you could be One to Watch!

Macy Butler is a new author to me, so I was glad to find a short read to get introduced to this author’s writing style.

This book was written in 3rd-person which is always a hit or miss for me. I will say that the name Sally was used constantly in each paragraph which was frustrating to an extent. This book was interesting and the conversation between Sally and Kate was funny about her new purchase. The book had some spice between Sally and Shane.

Something just seemed to be missing for me, but it could be for someone else.

This is my first chance reading Macy. Loved it!!! Enjoyed having it be a married couple bringing more spice into their lives. Macy makes Sally and Shane come to life not only in the bedroom, but in their entire lives. They discuss their feelings and thoughts, something not many married couples do. No matter how long you've been married or with someone it's not to late to make things interesting. Never give up on romance.

This is a new to me author and I will be reading more from Macy Butler. I love the writing style of the author. I did not know what to expect but was really surprised to see that Sally & Shane could be me and mine. It starts with a show at Sally's work that leaves her feeling sexually fueled and that ignites a beast in her that was just under the surface. Of course, the hubby Shane is wondering what fueled her sudden sexual urge. This was a hot intro into the Dirty Vanilla Series.

First read by this author and I must say I will waiting for more.... especially this series. Sally and Shane are very relatable to me as a married woman that has been with my partner for over 10 years.. I so love that Sally took a chance and hit it outta the park so to speak... Not a typical over the top erotica but it does the trick!!! Would recommend this author and this series …. especially to my fellow married ladies!!! Great job Macy!

This was a naughty quick read, with Sally seeing more than she bargained for in the stacks at the library she works at. She's intrigued, and finds herself wanting to explore her own sexual boundaries with her husband, Shane. I liked this short story, but that's what it was - a quickie that blew hot in a hurry. I wasn't totally into the chemistry between Sally and Shane, but it was an enjoyable steamy bite.

This is my first read by Macy! I really enjoyed the storyline as it’s realistic when it comes to married couples. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and spice things up a bit to add more flavor. On the case of Sally and Shane, it really worked! A little spiced vanilla made their life a bit more interesting!
Can’t wait to discover what happens next with them with the next book in the series.

Nothing Erotic Here.

This review is about all three books.

Lots and lots of drama but not really anything erotic. The author is obviously a skilled writer but this book should never have been in hotwife genre. There is one threesome scene but it’s not till the last half of the third book. There is however lots of sex scenes between the husband and wife. So the three stars is because the story is not about hotwife or even erotica.

I enjoyed reading this book. The author does a great job walking through finding a spark and exploring your marriage a bit. Not really a delve into BDSM, but it was so great to see a fresh take on changing it up in her marriage and stepping outside her comfort zone while still staying true to herself and her marriage.

I definitely recommend this book. It's amazing read and one I picked it up it was had to put down. Sally a librarian was just the ordinary person. Until she happened to catch a couple having sex in the library one night. Then she felt like something was missing. When she got home her husband was already asleep. But the next day so much had changed between the two of them.

Quick and Hot

This was a quick little read about a wife wanting to put a little more passion in her sex life after seeing another couple. It does continue on in another book. But I struggled to get through this one... Only because her husband has the same name as one of my children. But otherwise, it was good.
