Aurora Rose Reynolds + PNR Romance (aka Vampires *heart eyes*) = PERFECTION!

Seriously this book... Mind Blown! These two completely stole my heart and proved once again what a brilliant story teller Ms. Reynolds is. It was utterly PERFECT! And the most spectacular and enticing of first installments, because now I need the rest of this PNR series!!! <3 <3 <3 <3< 3

It felt like a good start to a book. I wanted a bit more than what you get in the audiobook. I also struggled with the female narrator. Her male voice was a bit cringe worthy. I will do a re-read when the ebook gets published. I predict I’ll enjoy that more.

There was potential for a really great story. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. But don't be discouraged if you want to give this a try. I think there is potential for a good PRN series.

I honestly don't know where to begin so I might jump around a lot.

While reading this story, the set up was oddly similar to a book I've read and I can't put my finger on the title at the moment. But as the story ties up, the other part of this series arc reminded me of Kristen Ashley's PRN seri

Ok. Sue me, I tried it because it’s on KU but I wish I hadn’t!
(view spoiler) <= this bother me a lot. Because I don’t believe in it. I felt like heroine was second best. These are my feelings though.

I probably would have believed a tiny bit if hero is also an incarnation of his past life but he wasn’t. The only one incarnation here was the heroine’s. She got to experience in visions his love for her past soul. Which put me off real quick. She

***Read Me Romance podcast***

The PNR story had potential, and I did like the direction it was going. However, like another reviewer said, too much information about the characters are missing. No real backstory. The ending came up too fast and all we know is Cameron and Isobel have a HFN. There's more to this story that we don't get to see....

Oh this was GREAT fun and sexiness!! I have other Aurora Rose Reynolds books; however, I have never read one. After this one I feel the need to binge read the series of books that I already have. In this story you are introduced to a couple that has a deep connection that is mysterious until things are revealed. Isobel arrives at a castle for a job after a bad break up; however, when she meets Camron there is something instant between the two of them. We learn that Camro

I doubt I would have taken the time to finish this book if it hadn't been part of the Read Me Romance Podcast.

Everything was too rushed. I understand that it's not easy to create and deliver characters and a paranormal world in a novella, and I think that's why most paranormal novellas are part of a larger world with characters you already know - or are just setting it up and introducing them. This tries to do too much in way too little space. The result is awkward shifts from scene to scene, wa

Sexy Scottish Vampire - yes, please!
Story was swoony & sexy & I enjoyed it. That said I did struggle a little with the female narration of the male characters with Scottish accents, throwing me out of the story. Now, as for the male narrator...(insert thigh clench here!)

TRAPPING HER by New York Times Bestselling Author Aurora Rose Reynolds, narrated by Tanya Eby & Richard Sawyer, is by far my favorite audio in the Read Me Romance podcast!

Lushly romantic, darkly intoxicating, and oh so spellbinding, the eternal love story about the rich, regal and rakishly broody Scottish Vampire Camron Campbell, who is passionately reunited with his reincarnated lost love Isabel Newport after pining for her for hundreds of yea

I love reading PNR books but I'm very picky when it comes to this genre. I was therefore very intrigued when one of my top favorite authors - Aurora Rose Reynolds - announced that she is writing a novella about vampires for the Read Me Romance podcast. I'm a sucker for a love story that transcends time and place and a possessive and protective hero who would do everything for the mistress of his heart. Although this was a short read it had everything I'm craving for as an avid romance reader. If ...more

It's not a secret that I'm a huge Aurora Rose Reynolds fan. In my eyes she's one of the best authors in this industry and an automatic one-click author for me. When I read that she was going to write her first PNR book, I was over the moon excited. And let me tell you she did a great job with it! Trapping Her was a sexy, sweet, delicious read that left me begging for more. ARR can obviously not only write about irresistible human alphas, but also about hot vampires and wervolves too. She did it, one of my fave ever authors has written a paranormal and I couldnt be happier!

That first encounter! Pass me a fan! In fact, all their encounters! 'She tastes like the sun and the moon. Like worlds colliding.'

It was a good, short read, it seemed so familiar, Cameron is just so hot and well, vampirey (!) Isabel did irk me slightly with her attitude towards Angus but you see why!

But that epilogue! Next installment please!

Yes!!!! ARR does Paranormal and I’m completely on board with this! This looks to be a promising new paranormal series and I’m looking forward to more books! I thought for a novella length book this book laid a great foundation.
Paranormal, vamps. Meh. The hero (a vamp) meets an American woman. He knows she is his mate. It all felt a bit labored.

Part of Read Me Romance podcast.
I love everything Aurora Rose Reynolds writes, and absolutely love that she decided to write this paranormal romance book. Can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Ugh, this story didn't flow very well at all, it felt so choppy that a bunch of info was missing. It doesn't matter that this is novella length. I also understand that this is the first time Aurora delved into Paranormal. Sadly, this didn't one didn't work out for me.

Aurora Rose Reynolds has been on my hesitant to read list for a long time. I heard of her before, as we all know I love a good PNR, but everything I've heard and read has been mixed. Some loved her work and some hated it so I was excited to see her on the Read Me Romance podcast for this week. I could finally get a sample of her work...only I still feel on the fence about it.

On one hand, I loved how effortless the relationship between Isabel and Camron is. Their affection and passion feels real

Summary: Enjoyable and would recommend.

This was a very quick book. The world building wasn't bad but felt like it was missing a bunch. I think this one should probably be described as a prequel since there was not a lot of conflict that happened in this story. It did a good job of teasing readers to keep reading the stories while still completing the story for these characters. No cliffhangers but lots of questions of what's going to happen in the worl

Wow, just wow. I don’t really know what to say….ok, actually I do...will there be a next book? Please, please say yes. If so, when’s the next book coming out? Next book please, please...ain’t to proud to beg....just sayin. This was Aurora Rose Reynolds first paranormal book and she freaking rocked it….like, Rocked. It.

Isabel aka little one, is at Cameron’s castle for work....yes, work *wags eyebrows*. These two are just sensually sexy aka sexy af, their chemistry is off the charts and just so se

I listened to this book on the read me romance podcast. This novella is about a woman falling for a vampire. I've read very few supernatural romances before and they're usually not my thing, but I found that I enjoyed this more than I thought I would.

It was well written and surprisingly detailed for such a short book. I believe this book forms the first part of a series and although I probably won't be reading the next ones, just because supernatural isn't my thing, I'm sure fans of th

This read is reminiscent of Kristen Ashley’s The Three series, but without the hundreds of pages of backstory, angst, and extra drama. Isabel relocates to Scotland and isn’t about to give up her dream just because angry, curmudgeonly Cameron doesn’t want her there. Being a strong woman, she refuses to give in or give up, which flummoxes Cameron. He’s been pining for his lost love for centuries and can’t help thinking that the impossible isn’t quite as impossible as he’s been lead to believe. Eit ...more

Tbh I'm not a big PNR reader and I'm very picky when it comes to PNR books. It was the first one that this author wrote and damn I fell heavy for this story even though it isn't been really in my trope kind of read. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the others in this series!

Camron has lost the love of his life years ago and has tried to move on but when Isabel comes into his life, there's this undeniable connection between them that pulls him towards her. Even though he tries to stay away

A departure into the paranormal genre for this author and a good start to what will hopefully be an engaging series. This is a novella, so it basically serves as an introduction to the new series, but there is good world building that teases what is to come along with the stories of some secondary characters. I didn't feel the connection between Cameron and Isobel as keenly as I have in other books by this author, but I expect that will expand as the series goes on and the forthcoming books will ...more

3.5 stars. Quickie review: Trapping Her was another audiobook I listened to on the Read Me Romance podcast. It is a paranormal romance by Aurora Rose Reynolds featuring a vampire and his reincarnated long lost love. I thought the story was fun and entertaining, but it moved way too quickly to feel any of the emotions. The book felt rushed and I would loved to have seen it fleshed out more. Still, I liked the world building and set-up for more books in the series. I will continue the series in th ...more
