Torn in Two is the second book in The Torn Series Book series written by Vincent Morrone. A fast-paced mystery suspense thriller that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Torn in Two is the second in the Torn Series, I have to admit that I have read the first book. I don't know if that would have changed my opinion of this book if I had, but I have to admit that I struggled with it. There's an awful lot going on here, with four or five, inter-related threads that make up the plot of the story. According to the blurb, this story focuses on Ashley, Cole (Ashley's nephew), and Ollie. Ashley has custody of Cole after Cole's mother is murdered and Ollie is one of the detectives on the case. Ollie and Ashley have been BFFs forever and it's pretty close to 50% through the book before any romantic relationship between them develops. It's not long before the killer sets his sights on Ashley and Cole.
