They call me Vigilante because I make my own laws.
Because I get retribution when there’s none to be had.
Because my name is Jace Mercy... but I show none.

Stood up at the altar, I ran from everything familiar... and straight into trouble.
Now I’m the lone witness to a backwoods execution.
A wanted woman with a price on my head.

I’m trapped in a cabin with the one man

Vigilante Justice

Professionally written, fast-paced and gripping, “Wanted” unites two complete strangers from entirely different socioeconomic spheres, binding them together in a fight against corruption and murder.

Jilted by her fiancé on her wedding day and desperate to escape the pain, humiliation, and rejection, Freya impulsively steals a car from the church parking lot. Distraught, Freya drives for hours into the backwoods of Wyoming eventually stopping at a remote roadside bar. Devoid of m

When Freya's fiancee skips out with her bridesmaid and her father still insist the party goes on, she decides to run. I'd run too but her leaving lands her smack dab in the middle of a murder. Jace is called the Vigilante, because he takes care of "problems" the law doesn't seem to take care of. He just wants to be left alone. When Freya runs right into him after seeing a man killed, the fun begins. Well, it's not really fun but you know what I mean. Jace doesn't want her there with him but a sn ...more

Wow, very intense, Loved it. This is the 4th book of Jane Henry's that I have read and they just keep getting better. I never would have imagined myself reading books like this a few years ago, But when you have a writer that keeps the story not just hot but also interesting they are hard to resist. Wanted left me wanting more. And that is a very good thing. Highly recommend for those into D/s stories with a little bit of twist.

Once again, Ms. Jane Henry has penned a spine-tingling, edge-of-your-seat tale that is full of mystery, suspense, danger, life and death, angst, passion, and power. Two people will come together in a very unusual situation, each from different lifestyles, but the sexual chemistry between them just sizzles off the pages. One has run away and is wanted, the other is an outcast and seeking justice, together they find dominance and submission.

A Phenomenal testament to the healing power of love! A Cowboy’s-do-it-better MUST BUY!
Oh, how I love the way author Jane Henry writes a story! Her descriptive, compelling prose draws me into the story so completely that real-life fades and my only focus becomes the magnificent characters and the captivating drama in which they find themselves. And oh, how that drama in Henry’s newest release “WANTED” held my attention! Henry has mastered the skill of feeding her readers just enough information

Alpha Male Adults Only Romance with BDSM elements.

This is a silly book that I found hard to get through with a straight face. I'm assuming it was written to be 😝tongue in cheek and irreverent.

Jane Henry is one of my go-to authors in BDSM and PNR reads. I love her books and know that I will get a great read and some hot sex in them. I was so ready to read this story even though it is a contemporary romance it is hot and spicey.

Freya is pis$ed and decided to leave her family little did she know she would end up in a far more dangerous area. But when she witnesses a murder and the bad guys see her and try to take her hostage, Freya can get away with some help.

This story starts off with Freya being left at the alter, her fiance took off with her bridesmaid and to make matters worse, her other bridesmaids knew about it. Humiliated and upset, Freya takes a running car and just drives until she is about out of gas. After having a meal at a bar, she's feeling poorly and goes out back to vomit. As she is hidden away from view, she witnesses an execution and runs for her life. Next thing she knows, she wakes up in a cabin in the nowhere backwoods, she had t ...more

This book took me so many places and I don't think it meant to do that. Freya, the spoiled rich girl, drives aimlessly off with no money, phone, or ID. I did feel badly for her because she was humiliated and got no support from so called friends or family. But, she was still stupid. I'm thinking contemporary romance at this point.

Next we are in the one horse town (euphemism) talking to the bartender about the Vigilante. Wait...This is starting to feel like the old west.

This is my first book by this author and I have a confession to make. I only clicked on it because of that COVER!! Then I read the synopsis. Who doesn't like a story involving a runaway bride? Judging a book by its cover can sometimes be a bad thing but let me assure you in this case it's not.

Freya and Jace end up having all sorts of chemistry. Freya has been left at the alter of her high society wedding without as much as a sorry for the heartbreak from friends or family. She jumps in a car wit

4.5/5- Jane Henry always delivers.

This book is so good.

Jace is an over the top alpha dominant man... err, COWBOY! Vigilante cowboy!! He likes to spank, whip, rope bondage, dirty talk and bite. He can also be tender, when he wants.

Freya, oh Freya. She’s a spoiled rich girl left at the alter for her bridesmaid. Her friends, family, all those surrounding her are pretentious assholes. She has the biggest 180 in the story. She starts out annoying (Jane Henry writes this character 100), but really c

Jane Henry writes some beautiful and intense stories, and I definitely think that Wanted is one of them. I think that it will probably be in my top 3 favorite books by her. There's just something about Freya and Jace and their journey together which really draws me to them and makes me want to wrap myself up into their story.

Jace is the perfect anti-hero, a good man who does bad things for the right reason. And there is no one else who would do any of the things that he does, so he does them. H

The request from Goodreads is, what do you think of this book, absolute truth, loved it. Freya’s fiancé runs out on her at their wedding, leaving a cowardly note. There she is standing alone at the altar in front of just about everyone she knows and then her parents declare there is a free bar and a party paid for so everyone should enjoy, her mother tells her to get herself together. What to do, she runs, takes a car that doesn’t belong to her and just drives until she is almost dropping from, ...more

She's spent her entire life being groomed as the perfect daughter to become the perfect wife then on the day of her wedding her fiancee stands her up because he's been sleeping with one of her bridesmaids! Jane Henry had created another sinfully delicious love story that follows a jilted runway bride, who witnesses more than she bargained for outside a bar, who than finds herself running for her life. Right into the arms of the arms of the man who will forever change her life. The Vigilante she was told about is non other than her new protector, and bosier than anyone she had ever met. But the sting of his hand on her backside is more delicious than she could ever have imagined and she finds herse ...more

Good until it isn't

Spoiler Alert:

I really liked this book most of the way through it, but the author lost me when he immobilizer her and gets a bullwhip after her then has This scene didn't fit for two reasons. From a strictly BDSM standpoint, up until this scene, he'd done some spanking, but that was about it. He warns her that he could really hurt her and she replies something to the effect that he knows what he's doing, but she has absolutely no way of knowing that. It was straight from A to

I sure do love me a good cowboy story, and Wanted fits the bill. In my opinion there is nothing better than a man who needs a good woman. He is sexy, hot and an alpha. Hello Jace, the hero of the story who does not think he is one. He steps in to save Freya, and maybe just maybe they both can save each other. I loved how he is with her. Alpha male all the way. The chemistry between them is hot, with the right amount of dominant to her submitting. I also enjoy reading about how protective the guy ...more

The action never stops in this fabulous modern western!

Freya hits the road after being left at the altar, but that is only the beginning of her troubles. After accidentally witnessing a murder, her only hope is Jace, a man known far and wide as a ruthless vigilante and one who absolutely does not have any time for a spoiled rich princess.

The story's action starts out hot and sultry but quickly turns to dire and deadly. Along the way both MC are forced to confront their hearts and examine what t

Well-written, developed characters, smokin' hot sex scenes. Pretty much everything I have come to expect from this author. I did think the mystery/suspense angle was a little under-developed, but that wasn't the main focus of the story anyway so not a big deal. I really liked the interactions between the main characters, and how their relationship developed. They worked through their differences in how they viewed the world, and Freya particularly grew quite a bit and figured out who she was and ...more

Freya finds her life I utter shambles and runs away as fast as she can. Of course the universe decides to kick her a little harder and she witnesses a murder. Well in comes Jace to the rescue. Except it doesn't seem like much of a rescue cause he's a vigilante with hardcore exterior.

Jace is the yummiest, growling, Dominant, protective man to date of Jane's! Just reading about him made me want to say, 'Yes, Sir'. I love how Freya came into her

I love Jane Henry. Her characters have depth, her stories are interesting, and they have great flow. Although this book was not one of may favorites, it still was a good read. I liked Freya, Jace not so much. She was treated like crap by her family, then again by her fiancé, and again by Jace, the man that was suppose to rescue her. Yes, I get he was a "loner", vigilante, out to get revenge on all who have wronged, he just wasn't likable. But, the story evolved, I liked him somewhat, the story d ...more

Jace is mine! I am not sharing him. But I will share my thoughts. Jace is hot, sexy and so protective. He is a good guy stuck in a bad situation. I loved how he protected Freya. He knew what she needed before she did. I fell just as hard for Jace as Freya did. He can protect me any day. Freya is a sweet, innocent girl who just needed to escape her stifling, rich life.

Wanted is intense. The suspense level is so high that I had to take breaks while reading to remember to breathe. Jane Henry has g

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a HUGE fan of Jane Henry and her writing skills. "Wanted" is no exception to that. We have Freya, the daughter of a powerful politician, who as Jace pointed out, is a spoiled princess who has everything she wanted and nothing she needed. And then Jace who has had to work hard his entire life and because of circumstances and his nature, brings his own brand of justice to keep his town safe from corruption. Jace is a M-I-G-H-T-Y fine cowboy and Freya and his story had me hooked and reading this in one sitting and I loved every minute.

As usual, Jane Henry gives her readers exactly what they want - a great story, some dangerous and threatening turns and some oh so sexy moments that leave you begging to be lassoed by your own vigilante! This one for me was a great stand alone and Jane really allowed you to empathise with Jace and Freya as they realise their pasts have defined who they are and how tog

Brooding, dominate, vigilante, hot cowboy...YES PLEASE and his name is Jace!!
Freya’s a city girl and complete opposite of Jace. But he rescues Freya from the same murderous men that caused him to become what he is today. While being hidden away in Jaces’ cabin, Freya learns more than just how to cook oatmeal. She’s finally figuring out what she wants in a man and it certainly wasn’t her cheating runaway groom. Jace is everything she never knew she wanted and Freya just might be Jace’s second
