Teddy King excels at many things. Playing hockey. Check. Scoring on and off the ice. Check. Being stupidly attractive ... Double check.

I knew him way back when. Before he was the guy everyone wanted a piece of, he was just a rebellious college co-ed and one of my more energetic study partners.

But secrets have a way of getting out, and a steamy encounter from our colle

Sara Dawson is a smart, fierce, driven attorney in Seattle with an extremely demanding career. She spends most of her time working and hopes to soon become a partner. She has a great group of friends that are all very close. One is a former college fling, named Teddy King. TK is now the star forward for the professional hockey team the Seattle Ice Hawks. She knew him before he was a famous hockey hottie, and has always valued his friendship. He’s a playful,

This is pretty much a feel good drama free read.

This book was Teddy and Sara’s story and they were a cute couple.

Okay, so obviously I'm a fan of hockey, and hockey romance and really anything that has to do with hockey, hence it was a no brainer to dive into this book (also, I fell in love with Owen in All the Way and I needed to see what was going to happen with Teddy and Sarah). Plus a sex tape, that gets leaked? How could I say no.

This is a complete standalone, so don't let the fact that it's book three in a series deter you from starting here. Although there's a very good chance that you'll be going ba

I love hockey romances, and when Kendall Ryan announced the Hot Jocks series, I was so excited. I loved the first book, Playing for Keeps, a hybrid romance blending the friends-to-lovers and best friend’s little sister tropes. All the Way, the second standalone in this series, absolutely stole my heart. While not the lighthearted sports romance readers may have been expecting, it was a beautiful, moving love story, and Kendall broke my heart with that emotional story before she painst

Five hockey stars for Sarah and Teddy 💙🖤!!!

This is the third, totally standalone book from the "Hot Jocks" series by Kendall Ryan that I've read.

I really enjoyed reading this book because Kendall's writing style is amazing and always makes me laugh with her books.

"Trying to Score" is the sweet and sexy romance book with friends to lovers and fake relationship tropes.

Sarah and Teddy's relationship is a slow burn.

They started a fake relationship but how can be anything fake if is there a tin

I absolutely loved Kendall Ryan's latest hockey romance, Trying to Score, the third installment in the Hot Jocks series. It was a perfectly executed friends-to-lovers, second chance romance that hit all the marks for me. Trying to Score was jam packed with all the feels, fiery banter and steamy good times. Filled to the brim with heart and heat, and just enough angst to keep me furiously flipping the pages.

Sara has known Teddy for many years. Before he was a famous pro hockey player, he was just

This book was such a great read, I absolutely love Teddy! He is a new fav of mine out of all of this author's heroes! He is so incredibly sweet. caring, and I was swooning all over the place with the way he was with Sara. This book held the incredible heat and connection between the characters, I could feel it on every page. I just love it.

This book was captivating from the very start and I could not put it down. It is very much my favorite one out of this series. I did however think t

Oh lawd..... I'm loving the Hot Jocks series and each book gets better and hotter! Trying to Score is the story of Teddy the sexy as sin hockey player and Sara the sassy, lawyer trying to make partner. What happens when their secret from college comes back to haunt them? They become the next IT couple but when that fake relationship has real feelings things take an unexpected turn. This story was full of witty banter, explosive chemistry and so many swoon-worthy moments I inhaled every page fast ...more

I love this series and Trying To Score just blew love right out of the water! Now I’m seriously obsessed guys! I have been smiling over this series since it began, and it just keeps getting better and better! Teddy and Sara were not only super fun, but also deliciously sexy!

There’s nothing like a friends to lovers story to capture that endearing quality in a romance journey. They already have love because of their friendship so it’s just a side-step really and what an excellent way to tumble ri

Sensual, sassy, and seductive!

Trying to Score is a playful, second-chance romance that features the lively, intelligent Sara who’s content to be single and completely focused on making partner, and the cocky, hard-bodied Teddy who’s unfortunately become embroiled in a scandal and in need of some lawyerly advice from an old flame.

The writing is witty and smooth. The characters are charismatic, amusing, and endearing. And the plot told from alternating POVs is a lighthearted, funny tale filled wit

I really enjoyed Trying to Score by Kendall Ryan 🥰
The storyline was entertaining from start to end, the relationship between Teddy and Sara was hot, steamy, sweet and full of swoon worthy moments.
I loved watching them reconnect and fall in love.

Trying to Score is a great addition to the Hot Jocks series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all!

3.5 stars - cute as hell and exactly what I wanted it to be.

My fave from this series so far and I'm so so glad my good feelings about this book came true. Sara's and Teddy's possible romantic entanglement has been teased since book 1 with their banter and chemistry that was palpable even with just a few snarky remarks exchanged.

This story was a well-balanced mix of fake-dating and "the one who got away" tropes. Both characters had some personal issues they needed to deal with outside of their re

Each book in this series just gets better and better. Loved Teddy and Sara so much. They had a past that they wanted to keep in the past. That is always easier said than done because a potential scandal may bring their college hook ups to light. They have to work together to be able to stop this from happening by any means necessary even if they have to pretend to be a couple. This may be hard because the attraction and the chemistry that was between them in college never stayed in college. The ...more

I found this book to be the perfect balance of sweet and sexy.
You know I am a sucker for a second chance romance and this was hit the spot.
With a heroine like Sara who is sassy and intelligent, I loved it!

And If you haven’t figured it out yet, I love a hockey romance. So are you really surprised that I enjoyed this book?

This entire series has so far been such an enjoyable read. I highly suggest you read these bo

As always, I love Kendall Ryan books. They always have me blushing, laughing, swoony and wanting more!! This was no different. I got those warm fuzzy feelings and was left with a HUGE smile on my face when I was done. Oh and the chemistry bet

I swear this is Kendall's best series...EVER!!!
Teddy and Sara's story was just so great. I loved that they were friends and and hook ups in college. They played a game once they hit the real world. Wanting each other but knowing it can't happen because someone was in a relationship.
Now a real problem has come up and what starts ioff as pretend turns into something just awesome. and let's say Kendall as done it again!!!

Trying to Score is the third book in the Hot Jocks series. And after getting a small taste of Teddy and Sara in the previous book—I couldn’t wait for their story.

Sara is sassy, intelligent and down to earth. She’s very career driven. She’s a lawyer who’s trying to make partner. Though something from her past might hurt her chances of that happening.

Teddy is a sexy as sin hockey player. Two things that mean the most to him are his grandpa and hockey. He’s worked hard to get to the place where he

Trying to Score is the third book in the Hot Jocks series by Kendall Ryan. Each book can be read as standalone but I do recommend reading them all since they just keep getting better and better. I do believe this might just be my favorite series by Kendall. I have enjoyed both Teddy and Sara in the previous books so it was exciting that they would be getting a book together!

5 Star Review Trying To Score(Hot Jocks #3) by Kendall Ryan

Trying to Score is the third book in Kendall Ryan’s latest Hot Jocks series and is Teddy King and Sara Dawson’s story.

This is a friends to lovers story, with a side of hockey, that was an entertaining and easy book to read.

What happens when a mistake from the past comes back to haunt you? That’s the position Teddy and Sara suddenly find themselves in when a romantic encounter which they filmed, suddenly sees the light of day. Can they

I’m absolutely loving this series. Teddy and Sara are fantastic together. Teddy and Sara had a relationship years ago and have managed to not only stay friends but also keep their history a secret from everyone else. When Teddy finds out their caught on camera romp is about to be released to the masses he has no choice but to involve Sara. Knowing both their careers are on the line they have no choice but to work together to try and keep it under wraps. But the more time they spend tog
