4☆ A Gorgeous Children's Picture Book that has a Quirky Twist!

Ting A Ling: The Old Ambulance is a gorgeous children's picture book that has a quirky twist, it's also a colouring book.

Now I have mixed feelings about the colouring book aspect, one being, when I was growing up I was told not to write in books and to treasure them, but on the other hand I think it inspires creativity and imagination which is amazing. Especially as we spend a fair amount of time giving children technology and apps to

I thought that this was a lovely story to read – and in fact you actually get two stories in this book, the first is how he was found and rescued and the second is how he got his name!

The story is lovely and I really enjoyed it. The characters were great and the story was easy to follow and understand too. I liked the author’s introduction and whilst this was primarily aimed at adults it will help them to explain to younger children more about the story if
This is a delightful children's story and colouring book starring 'Ting-a Ling', an old ambulance that is lovingly restored by Alf. The book has two stories. 'In the Beginning' is the first story which tells how Ting-a-Ling was found, rescued and restored whilst the second, 'A Call Sign for Ting-a-Ling' tells about how he was officially named and its call sign.

There are some great characters involved, especially Alf, his Mum and his boss! It is written in short chapters and does include some sp

You actually get two books for your money with Ting-A-Ling The Old Ambulance. The first one tells the story of how ambulance man, Alf, stumbles across an old ambulance in a field one day and decides to rescue and restore it. Once he has done so he rings the bell and the sound it makes is "ting-a-ling", hence the name.

The second story is A Call Sign for Ting-A-Ling. The old ambulance and Alf are invited to an ambulance show where there is a surprise for Alf: the mayor is going to officially name

Ting A Ling is about an old ambulance recovered and repaired by Alf. The old ambulance which is in all pieces with plants growing on it and a bit of mess is repaired by Alf for many nights with hard work. When the ambulance starts working, it became the friendliest old ambulance.

My kids love all different types of vehicles and so, they naturally liked the story. This story gives a moral to not to give up even when a task seems impossible. Alf works hard for many nights to bring life back to the

This is a brilliant book, which contains two short stories relating to an old ambulance.

The first story follows a man called Alf who is walking through a field one day when he finds an old ambulance rusting away. He then takes it home and spends ages restoring it back to it’s former glory.

The second story follows on and is where Ting-a-Ling gets his first outing and Alf shows him off to everyone. The Mayor also turns up and officially names him.

The story is very well written and my daughter love
