When the devastating Immolation propels women to primacy in society, a ruthless corporation, a resistance movement and a shadowy religious organisation emerge from the chaos and manoeuvre for power. On the brink of extinction, men have become pawns of a government intent on forcibly controlling reproductive rights. Their fate lies in the hands of a young man, but will he survive his own dark reality?
This was good, though a few characters were unlikable. Aside from the obvious . That was all unexpected. Since there was a cliffhanger, I assume there will be a second book.
