The God Particle Conspiracy

World-renowned astrophysicist, Dr. John Logan, and his protégée, Sarah Carmichael, have witnessed events which defy the laws of physics. Logan believes the gravitational anomalies are caused by man's tinkering with the Higgs Boson Particle—the God Particle. Logan discovers that the anomalies are a byproduct of a scheme by corrupt politicians to hold the global economy hostage. His discovery is met with tragic consequences and he runs for his life.

Sarah’s plan is simple. Find the professor, stay ahead of those who want them dead, and save the world. What could possibly go wrong?

What if politicians' shenanigans are simply shiny objects to get media attention and keep Americans looking in the wrong direction as they hoard power and wealth? If this book isn't a wake-up call, it may be too late.

My aunt gave me this book about two years ago. I wasn't familiar with the title or the author, but the description on the back cover sounded interesting so I gave it a go. I honestly really enjoyed the ideas that this book presented, but I think the delivery needed improvement.

As I started reading, it reminded me a lot of Dan Brown's Angels and Demons- it was a little too similar. Dan Brown's Robert Langdon is a professor at Harvard, Don Phelan's John Logan is a professor at Princeton. Both characters are well-known experts in their field doing extensive research in their respective fields. Both books have a focus on supercolliders and the God particle.

An additional similarity is that both books have a "shockingly beautiful" extremely intelligent female sidekick- which is a motif that really bugs me. It's just an annoying "Hollywood" theme that defines a woman by her beauty. Nothing new, it's just an annoying similarity.

This book covers a lot of topics for being under 300 pages. It mentions Area 51, the Bohemian Grove, the Deep State, intergalactic space travel, spy organizations, mob operations, and more. These are all topics that I love reading about, but it felt a little all over the place. In my opinion, the focus either needed to be narrowed, or the length needed to double in order to sufficiently cover all topics.

As far as writing quality, I thought the character development was shallow, the dialogue was poor, and there were numerous spelling and grammatical errors. I know this sounds harsh, but these were the main topics that really prevented me from enjoying this book. Even though the dialogue wasn't good, it was hilariously cheesy. It was extremely dramatic and unrealistic. Very action/adventure "B movie"

All in all, I felt it was a cheesy version of Dan Brown fan fiction. I thought it was fun and entertaining, and I'm very interested in the topics mentioned throughout the book. However, it is poorly written. I've never felt so conflicted when rating a book. 0/5 stars for quality, 5/5 stars for entertainment. I'll meet in the middle, 3/5 stars.

I won a Kindle copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway, for which I'd like to thank the publisher and the author.

This book is a fun fast adventure, that reminds me a lot of Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code." It's a great read, if you don't examine the facts too closely. There were a few grammatical and formatting errors in the version I received.

Gripping page-turner. It makes you wonder what our politicians are really doing? Is it all just a masquerade to keep up from knowing the truth about who they really work for? Couldn't put it down until I finished.

If this book doesn't make you wonder what secrets our government isn't telling us, nothing will. Ask yourself: Why is the media distracted by politicians' daily circus? Why are we allowing ourselves to be sucked into their misdirection? Why are they so scared to reveal what is REALLY in Area 51?

An unexpected roller coaster ride! This grassy knoll thriller is filled with twists, turns, and quirky characters. When I finished the book, I thought, "This could really happen, couldn't it?"

I need to discuss this book with knowledgeable people. There’s so much in it that fascinates me and many of the organizations are real.
