Wow, this book had me on the edge of my seat. Piper Ford is a member of Medusa, an all female special forces team. Piper agrees to drop off a neighbor’s son at school but must return because he forgot his lunch in the car. A group of masked men rush the school looking for a woman named Persephone Black. One of the masked men takes Piper instead to save the school from being shot up. Piper must use all of the skills she has learned during her training with the Medusas to stay alive. One of her ...more

Wow, who would have thought helping a neighbour out by taking his son to school could result in being kidnapped! That's what happens in this fast paced romantic suspense, the second book in the Mission Medusa series.

Whilst returning to the school to drop off the packed lunch of her neighbour's son, the tranquility is shattered as armed men rush in. Piper Ford is one of the women training to be part of the top secret, elite, women-only, Medusa force but hadn't anticipated that one of the

I received an ARC of this book by NetGalley and the publisher. The opinions expressed in this review are my own and have not been influenced in any way.

Zane, an undercover agent is tasked to take down a terrorist group who kidnap Piper. Piper is no pushover & doesn't know if she can trust Zane. Its full of action and some dicey situations.

A white-knuckle romantic suspense novel, Cindy Dees’ latest tale, Special Forces: The Spy is liberally spiced with danger, daring and desire and sure to keep readers turning the pages late into the night.

Piper Ford is a woman with a pretty powerful secret. She is not the ordinary woman everyone thinks she is, but a member of the Medusas, an elite, female-only Special Forces team that has armed her with all the necessary skills to protect herself from danger. When she had agreed to do a favor for

Piper Ford is one kickass female! She is a true warrior...forget that she is a female in a very male-dominated world...she could kick most of their asses, whilst wearing high heels!

Doing a favour for a neighbour really shouldn't have landed her in the trouble that it did. But intentionally mistaken identity is the least of her problems!

Zane Cosworth has been undercover for so long, he feels that his grip on his true identity is slipping away from him. But when fate sticks a trained soldier in

Who are Piper and Zane? Who are the Medusas? Who are Susan and Jack? Where is Piper from? How does she know and/or meet everyone else? What happens when Piper is asked to drop Jack off? When Piper has to go back, she sees something, what is it? Why does Zane call her out? Wowwie! This was one heck of a read! I cannot wait to read more Special Forces stories. I had a hard time putting this book down to eat or do anything else! What a fun read. Many unexpected events!

Zane is undercover in a terrorist group to take it down and the group he's with kidnaps Piper Ford in a case of mistaken identity. Piper Ford is a member of Medusa and has been trained for situations like this and knows what to do during a hostage situation but finds that one of her kidnappers Zane is trying to keep her from real harm and even help her. When both Zane and Piper manage to break free and will do everything they can to protect the target the group is actually after while protecting ...more

If there was ever a way to start off on the wrong foot, Zane has certainly found it. Piper is no pushover, but when her life is on the line, and she's not so sure how far she can trust Zane, its a question of mind over heart. There were some situations that made me a little uneasy, but nothing crossed any lines. Brilliant story.

Great summer read! Beware you won’t be able to put it down. Lots of intrigues, kidnapping, nasty terrorists, and of course, the strong female meeting up with the alpha undercover guy. They both must get out of a sticky situation.

YES!!! THE MEDUSA’S ARE BACK!!!

The first female unit of Special Forces are back! This new series reads the way the original series (first 6 books) did and draws you in to the story. In my opinion the second set of 3 books did not read as well.

With there only being 3 books so far in this series, (haven’t read ‘The Operator’ yet) I can’t wait to see where this series goes!!

Book Him Danno
3 1\2 stars
Cindy Dee writes a decent romantic suspense story for the summers. Readers can start with this book and know what will happen from beginning to end. The author has a fake rap scene but the female characters still feels the same emotions. The author creates a likable female lead woman can bound with. The Zane the male lead is strong but weak as well which creates a blend of two decently written characters.

The story moves quickly and finished with what readers have come to expect with
